  1. Like SnowLove I too think that a good mix and balance of guy-types is the ideal way to go as tastes are different of course. I'm personally actually quite attracted to twinks, more boyish-looking guys and those more lightly muscular ones while I don't care much about baras and those overly hyper-masculine, pompous and almost bloated meatbags. As said though, the right mix of guys makes the whole deal to cater to a wide pool of interests. In terms of different versions of the same guy I'd say I am not opposed to have a version of every rarity for some guys and those 1star-guys could really use a version that has more stars in order to get a full profile for them, but the ratio of new versions for existing guys and completely new guys should definitely favor the latter group. Doesn't even need to be always a cameo of an existing character of another fictional world/work, more original characters completely native to the Haremverse would also do fine.
  2. That's actually a pretty good point. I totally forgot that Pachinko rewards now also include "just gems". In combination with the avatars there's arguably even more "trash rewards" available reducing the overall value of the pachinko orbs themselves (except Great Pachinko, but that variant is only for equipment and 1star-guys anyways). Another point is of course the whole needing a certain amount of guys on a certain level cap to unlock the next one. This is also something that can turn out to be tricky if the overall chances to get more guys into your harem have also decreased considerably with the updates in the last six months or so. Even the guys one can definitely earn "through story" aren't as easy to get as one might think since villains/world trolls now also give gems as possible prize and thus reduce the overall chances to get shards for the common story guys each villain holds.
  3. Hi folks, while I think the general idea of the new gemstone-system for leveling guys and disconnecting guy-levels from the player level is a good idea which allows both lower-level players to increase their chances in PvP and to deliberately level specific guys independently, the current way gems are distributed and awarded I think is unbalanced in relation to other possible rewards. The most glaring offender of this imbalance are the daily missions. Except for a single daily mission which still awards Champion Tickets (which are also plenty available through villain fighting and Places of Power) all other missions "only" reward gems, no more money, no more gift or book items, no more pachinko orbs of any type. Granted, books and gifts are by now available through temporary Places of Power or the new Stairway to Heaven, yet the first has only a certain percentage chance which gets also additionally lowered by having gems as possible prizes too while the latter requires a new resource which gets refilled every two hours. In the permanent Places of Power the gems were also not added as additional prizes (which would still overall reduce the percentage chance of getting one of the other rewards) but they replaced an already existing prize in form of pachinko orbs. In the daily contests the various other prizes including money and Combativity also were all replaced by gems. Overall, it looks like the introduction of the gemstone mechanic was not only used to deliver a completely new system of leveling the guys in one's harem (which can have several advantages over the old system no doubt) but also to quite reduce the variability of possible awards from other, different activities, most strikingly reducing the overall chances to get pachinko orbs of any given type. Considering how "regular" pachinko fees require lots of kobans to be used these changes may severely hamper new and low-level players.
  4. By now I've often heard about the low server population on other game servers making things harder and after having now played about a month parallel on Nutaku (where I am Level 254 now with 148 collected guys) and the main server (where I am Level 155 with 48 collected guys) I do think there is a thread running about this in general if it isn't supposed to be harder on higher levels in general. Since as far as I've noticed, competing in both the Tower of Fame as well as Season is much easier on the main server than on Nutaku and on top it also seems to be much easier to more often reach the Top 4 on daily contests and actually get some extra kobans. On Nutaku you get some players getting ridiculously high scores on some daily contests you can't possibly match even if you i.e. get 150.000 points from gaining three new guys in a row because four other players already have over a million points. On the main server in contrast you may also get players getting quickly ahead in some daily contests but it almost always stays in a range you can still compete with when investing some resources.
  5. Once you get the exclusive guys from a champion the only "value" champions still got is collecting money and collecting points in the current daily contest if applicable thus meaning on purpose not "winning" is the best bet how to handle them. When speaking of rewards though you can apply the "not worth" moniker to several places apart from the champions by now since the actual juicy rewards (pachinko orbs of all couleur, guy shards, XP, kobans or combativity for villains) got either removed or the chances of obtaining them lowered. The only places still offering a reasonable amount of juicy rewards (so far) are the Season, Tower of Fame and the Path of Attraction events.
  6. As Erhuty said, it's the avatar of the guy and not the guy himself. To get this guy you must reach Tier 51 in the season. The green-haired dude is the first one you get on Tier 26.
  7. I think I've found two minor bugs in the current version, tested both on the main server and Nutaku. They seem to be just display issues in the harem screen, coming in two variants. 1st is that one random guy seems to be missing in the guys' list everytime you load up the harem, noticeable even with many guys obtained when there remains money to collect yet according to the list no one has currently anything to offer. The 2nd happens when you filter your harem somehow: Depending on how many guys you have, one is randomly picked and displayed twice. Clicking to collect the money does do it for both and only gives you the money a single time (420 in the case above) so it is indeed just a display issue, but might somehow be related to the first one in the unfiltered list when there's a single guy "missing" you then can't collect the money from. Leaving and returning most often fixes the issue although I am not sure if then another random guy gets "hidden" in the unfiltered list. Cross-checking with the list of guys in the market confirms that there's no guy actually missing but just the harem page itself being a bit off the rails display-wise.
  8. Sounds more like you're incredibly unlucky with the RNG rather than an issue with the update. I had several shard drops (even 10 at once one time) on Doraghim against Edward and one drop (3 shards) for Nemo against Ninja spy. Now it is of course possible that the addition of gemstones as prizes decreased the overall chance of shard drops, but that would be by design and not a bug per se.
  9. You don't need the money from temporary Places of Power that urgently anymore. Instead of a chance of 1+ million cash in seven hours (if that particular PoP even comes up) you can get 900.000 cash every 6 hours now by simply unlocking all five stars for Bunny, Gary and Red Battler because each of them now gives 300.000 cash every 6 hours. That's not only quicker than the temporary PoP it also doesn't have a percent chance attached to it. --- I do agree with feeling "meh" about the whole "exclusive" thingys about a bunch of the guys though as in some cases you just have bad luck with the RNG and "miss" a guy despite "doing the thrill of the chase" and if that happens more often than not it has a huge possibility of generating frustration eventually. Trying to collect as many of the available guys as possible is indeed one of the pulls of the game, in some instances even more so than PvP or the story, so having some guys permanently missable, especially when looking at Seasons and Path of Attraction its not a good long term plan.
  10. The amount of gems can be seen on the harem screen, although only the gem needed for the guy/girl you have currently selected: If there's a view where you can see all types of gems I haven't yet found it.
  11. Places of Power and daily contest rewards have changed as well, you get no more Great Pachinko x10 orbs from the first permanent Place of Power, but that should be offset by the first three starter guys (Bunny, Gary and Red Battler) now giving 300.000 cash at five stars. Daily contests however give no more Combativity refills anymore which makes fighting villains to obtain event guys even harder without spending kobans on refilling.
  12. Tbh I do not completely get the reasoning for the removal of the feature. Isn't it part of the premise/goal of the game to eventually collect all available guys? With how limited the chances to get some guys are, especially for newer players or those who can't/don't want to spend real money, it seems to be a bit shortsighted to make a whole bunch of guys completely unavailable after they have been first introduced. Especially when it comes to Season guys and Path of Attraction many lower leveled players simply don't have the resources and unlocked features yet to even try to "get the thrill of the chase" as the developers worded it. I'm not even counting the super rare six-star guys with red background into it as they're more or less apparently intended to be available only to players who pay real money or who are already Level 250+ and have enough resources available to compete offensively for them, but those could be made exempt from any feature which can help you get a guy you couldn't get the first time he was available. On the flip side I can imagine this begetting no thrill of chase at all for quite some players but to become quite a source of frustration due to missing out on guys because of bad luck in the RNG field, having not enough boosters available to get far enough in seasons etc. The Dating Tokens-issue itself was communicated quite in advance indeed, so I used the around 500+ tokens I had "amassed" on Nutaku after four months of play up before they were disabled. Still, I would like to see eventually a new feature that allows you somehow to start getting further shards for guys you have at least one shard on. If there's really a need for some total "exclusivity", just make all the red six-star guys exempt from that feature.
  13. The avatars are not used for anything in-game specifically, they're just a cosmetic thing for the player profile.
  14. With the contests it depends on which conditions are given every day. The ones requiring to donate money for example are nearly impossible to tackle for a new or low-leveled player. Ok, which means grabbing every champion ticket one can get hands on. I am actually doing surprisingly well on season battles on the main server despite being more or less a "weak" newbie compared to the medium-sized growing powerhouse I am already on Nutaku. While I dunno if the remaining time is still enough to also gain the first guy, the fact I already reached rank 10 does put me in a need for a decision. Should I apply the 20.000 extra EXP immediately to jump several levels or should I wait in the hope that a daily contest with "gain EXP" comes up so I may possibly swipe some sweet extra 300 kobans? Speaking of the league/tower, it does seem to be a bit easier to gain wins on the main server than on Nutaku, but this here confused me a little: WTF are players with Levels 375 up to 420 doing in the lowest league? These are literally unbeatable even if you would have access to boosters. On the side though I do think I already built a decent team for Level 60 and the guys do not even have their five stars unlocked yet. The first part is relatively easy as you gain enough common guys by simply doing story progression and fighting the unlocked trolls. The second however is quite a challenge as not only are legendary guys the most expensive to upgrade it's also quite difficult to obtain those having 5 stars, with Legendary Contest being the only "surefire" way I know apart from getting extremely lucky with Pachinko orbs. So the Places of Power are really the to-go goal for quickly accumulating resources to get off on truly participating in stuff. Ironically I do not actually see getting the neccessary kobans to upgrade them being the biggest challenge as you can get one upgrade by just getting all daily missions on four days a week. No, the main issue will be actually getting all PoPs manned so the running time goes down to 7 hours. For that you need either a few very highly leveled guys (On Nutaku I can run one PoP with six Level 220 guys who have 3 stars unlocked) or many low leveled ones to fill the criteria with quantity. If I recall correctly the needed criteria also increases with each Level up so you need to keep that in mind as well. I tend to never use kobans to refill energy or villain battle points, except in the rare case of a running event where I already have 85+ shards for a guy and a single refill might allow me to still get the guy in question.
  15. Since the collecting of guys seems to be one of the central themes of the game I'd say it isn't very clever nor fair to newer players to make some guys literally completely unobtainable. I can imagine things like this causing quite some frustration, especially for newer players who were already present for some events yet couldn't get those guys because their resource stockpiles wouldn't allow it, so they didn't miss those guys due to lack of trying or ability but due to lack of equipment and opportunity. When it comes to "Kinky Cumpetition" I can only repeat that I think it is the least player-friendly event because abysmal shard drop rates are combined with a very short time limit especially in the tower of fame where you get almost no shards at all. I haven't exactly switched servers but started a "parallel run" on the main server besides my Nutaku account.
  16. As I've decided to "start over" on the main server as the Nutaku version seems to be limited in certain areas I thought maybe it would be a good idea to have a thread where some of the veterans tell newbies and "switchers" about what should be priority goals for new players and where to best imvest the sparse resources you have to deal with on the levels 1 to 100 or something. Since I have already achieved so much with the Nutaku account which I started back on July 6 2021 I won't give that one up. Right now I'm Level 238 and collected 129 guys, story-wise I am on Plains of Rituals. The new account on the main server I started after advice from this forum on October 23 2021. In four days I managed to reach Level 52, collect 15 guys and story-wise I reached Evil laboratory in Ninja village. What I am now mostly interested in is a) if the main account will eventually "catch up" or even surpass the Nutaku account and b) if I can tackle the whole issue of participating in events, gain guys and resource more effective in the "second" run compared to the first one where I did much trial and error and thus missed at least 3 season-exclusive guys. So what advice can there be given to manage the early game most effectively? Spend money to upgrade your guys or better invest in your own stats? Upgrade guys broadly i.e. giving everyone you get their first star, then their second etc. or pick seven guys you want to use as your first battle team and bring those to max stars first? Should you even in these beginning levels seriously participate in season and try to get at least the first guy? Take on champions the moment they are unlocked or wait until you have at least gathered 10+ tickets? I admit it is a bit jarring to be not able to do things right now I can effortlessly tackle already with the progress made on the Nutaku-account. --- Another issue I was always wondering about is the purpose and use of the guys who have only one star available. As far as I've seen on the Great Pachinko screen there exists a grand total of 30 1star guys so far. Each of them when upgraded gives 1200 cash, meaning 30 x 1200 => 36000 cash extra if you got them all. Furthermore if leveled a bit they can be used to fill in gaps in Places of Power. Is there any other effective use for the 1star guys or is that it?
  17. I can relate to that, yet you don't have to give up the progress you already achieved on that account and concerning the guys I do think that apart from season guys and the ones with red background (which I didn't get even one yet) every single one can be regained sometime on the main server as well. Due to apparently bigger koban rewards it may even be possible that once the account reaches the middle level range again (150+ I think) you'll end up getting more guys quicker and eventually overtake the Nutaku account in every possible way. The option to import at least your gained guys from the other account would be a very neat thing though I admit. 😊
  18. It isn't a game-breaking thing for sure, yet having possibility to return to the previous screen somehow would certainly increase user convenience and save time with the controls. You can go from the current quest back to the world map as well, why not from the villain battle screen? Maybe there could be even an option to cycle between all world villains you have unlocked while staying in the battle screen just like you can circle through your guys in the market. That way, if a player wants to battle different villains they could do so without having to run lots of detours.
  19. So this generally means that if you're a free-to-play casual player things will be overall slower when using the Nutaku version. Like said, I've put quite some effort into my account there since July 6th and already achieved quite some successes, also including some guys that can't be earned via Epic or Mythic Pachinko so I won't give up the nutaku one, but that of course doesn't rule out opening a second tab in the browser and start a fresh account on the "main" server. The main question is only when is the most effective time to start? I'd assume on a month's start as that already gives you a "free" extra guy obtainable by daily missions. Maybe there's also a more effective general playstyle to follow as I pretty much started out with trial and error back in July without any tutorials or "newbie"-tips.
  20. Does that mean the 2nd reward row for PoA is cheaper on the "native" version or do you just earn more kobans in general even as a mid-level player? Are there other "limitations" the Nutaku version has I should know of? I do know about the avatars but that never bothered me much. Why do they limit the tower tiers like this? Wut? But the market doesn't offer any of the yellow epic boosters anymore? To sate curiosity here are my actual stats from the market and my accumulated boosters. I forgot that I got quite some boosters from Mythic Pachinko when using the golden orbs: I've maxed my main stat (the "Rose") and invested secondarily in the other stats, but haven't maxed them yet cuz I'm saving up money for both the "spend money" tasks in PoA as well as leveling up some guys star-wise. I've still lots of guys with purple background who have only one star unlocked because it's freaking expensive to upgrade the purple ones. The normal white/grey background guys and more than 70% of the green background guys I've already upgraded to the maximum possible.
  21. I'd never guessed that the amount of players present plays such a big role. Considering how many full clubs are present and how filled the leaderboards are I haven't noticed the playerbase being that low. On the other hand though I also theorize that maybe another problem might be that other players, who already play the game longer, use the purple booster items more often because they already have a decent stock of them. Ever since the new temporary Places of Power-tasks dropped I've managed to secure quite a few of the purple "Chlorella"-boosters who boost ego by 10% so maybe it's time to actually put them to use. There's a difference in Tower/League tiers between the Nutaku-version and the "native" Kinkoid one? This is the current league and they have at least a "Sexpert II": Tbh I was just assuming that "Sexpert III" and any following tiers are just on a second "page" of the tier-list that you don't get to see until you reach the first of those higher tiers. I did fight some league battles for XP, mostly when the current daily mission had the condition "gain xp". It's somewhat funny. The Tower/League-part of the game was the only one I largely ignored so far and that's the place you can gain additional kobans. 😅 I do have to admit though that PvP is an especially confusing issue right now because I apparently had the "luck" to start playing when the developers choose to completely overhaul or reimagine the whole battle system. When I started in July there was a three person team designated Alpha-Beta-Omega and the three "classes" which played like a rock-paper-scissors game, then came the seven person "combine all stats"-system and now we have additionally what seems to be a Final Fantasy-esque element-system on top. You think you get the hang of how to operate the system and then they change it...not the most fun to learn stuff. Ah ok, so upgrading the PoP is really the most effective way to go. Should I give highest priorty to that even if that means foregoing the second reward-row of Path of Attraction? I've accumulated slightly over 8.000 kobans by now so I could upgrade one PoP while still having enough for PoA. Since I am "only" in Plains of Rituals by now story-wise I also need to reach Hero University first to unlock the third permanent PoP anyways. Standard money already isn't that much of an issue anymore as I've stashed up around 50 million and my harem gives me an average of 300.000. 1star-guys might be useless in battles, but each of them gives 1.200 extra cash and they can play fill-in in PoP. Champion-Tickets I tend to stockpile until either a) a daily mission with them comes up or b) for event tasks that require doing them. Also of course to get the guys they have to offer. So far got two of the champion guys, of the second and third champion. Also, is it only me or is the fifth champion, Visor, more difficult than all the others, even more than the last one, because he often uses the favorite position of the guy who fights for him and therefore almost always does extra damage? Yea, that's also what I have observed in nearly four months of play in regards to events. Orgy Days and the Classic events at the start of a month are the most "newbie"-friendly ones. Kinky Cumpetition is so far also my least favorite event mainly because the drop rates for shards are so incredibly low and the time so short. To invest kobans for refilling kisses or Tower-tokens isn't advisable because of the low drop rates either. The Mythic events are thus meant for high-level veteran players if i interpret it correctly so I should probably ignore them until I am Level 350+ or something? Epic and Legendary Days I found to be a mixed bag in terms of success rate yet Path of Attraction I think is, after Orgy Days and Classic, the event which gives a player the most "bang for the buck" if you can manage to save up the 7200 kobans for the second reward-tier. You get lots of extra resources which can help in the next Classic and/or Orgy days and four guaranteed guys. I've already earned 125 guys so I won't just abandon the Nutaku account, it's a bummer you can't export and import your data, but perhaps I'll start up a second one on the "native" server for comparison. I guess the start of a month would be the best point to do so?
  22. Hi together, I started playing the GH version of the game on Nutaku roughly three months ago in the first week of July, but the games should have largely the same functions and rules I assume. I have reached Level 235 by now and yet still it seems to be somewhat a close call to reach the second guy in the season despite winning roughly 80% of the battles I go into, being at tier 39 with ten days left in October. Last season (Sun and Moon) I managed for the first time to get the second guy, yet literally on the last day with some help from Path of Attraction-rewards. Are there some special strategies to get to tier 51 more quickly or is it designed to be this close for players below a certain level? I found season still to be the "easier" section of PvP though because opponents are at most 10 to 15 levels above me, in the tower/league half or more of opponent players are in the Level range of 300 and above, no idea how I am supposed to beat those with puny level 235 even if I would use booster items. Due to this I tend to only sparsely participate in the Tower league. That kobans are more or less the most important resource I figured out rather quickly, yet the actual ways to earn them seem to be quite limited so you have to save up and spend quite some thought on how to use them. The only 100% sure way I've found for players who don't want to use real money are the 150 daily kobans you can get for fulfilling all daily missions. Daily Contests can be a semi-reliable income source if you're willing to invest the resources to reach at least the Top 4 and if the current contest has conditions you actually can fulfill. For example the condition "Give XP to guys" can't be fulfilled if all guys in your harem are already on current max level. That's about it though or is there are source of kobans I missed that doesn't rely on random luck like some of the temporary Places of Power? The biggest question for someone who has to be conscious of their patiently collected kobans thus is how to most effectively spend them. So what's the most effective way to use kobans when you have to first save up enough of them? From what I've gathered the most steady stream of income of various resources apart from kobans are the "Places of Power", which translates into having enough guys leveled far enough to run multiple of them at once, including the permanent ones. So, would it be advisable to level up the permanent "Places of Power" first which costs 600 kobans per level? You need many additional guys though to man all the missions fully, so maybe it is better to spend the kobans towards Mythic or Epic Pachinko to quickly get more guys including 1star-ones? When it comes to events in general I've noticed that, with exception of Orgy days (where I consistently manage to get between three and four guys without spending a single koban) and Legendary Contest (which is very resource intensive however for non-koban resources) the time limits are rather short for actually getting the guys offered there. In the "regular" event at the start of the month I usually get the daily missions guy and one or two additional from fighting the world bosses which partially depends on luck in shard drops, but the "cumpetition" ones are almost impossible to get because there's always only 1 to 4 shards given per (won) PvP battle and it is additionally split between multiple candidates and for the red Mythic guys (the three events I had so far) I got between 7 and 13 shards for each. Overall, I got so far more than 27 guys with partly-filled shard-meters ranging from as high as 75 (Secretary Robbie from a Cumpetition) and 54 (Yugo, a 5-star legendary with my "native" element, from one of the Anniversary events) to just single digit shards for several which is due to the get-shards-through-PvP-wins events only providing a trickle of shards (only 2 out of 10 PvP wins actually giving them). Therefore would it a wise decision to spend accumulated kobans to refill resources i.e. for fighting the bosses or PvP-tokens to get these event guys or throw them again into the pachinko options? Or should I not contemplate to spend them at all and always save up for the Path of Attraction-event at the end of a month? 7200 kobans for the second reward tier is quite a batch to work towards to, especially if you're unlucky with the Daily Contests and don't place in the Top 4 regularly, yet would more or less guarantee you two extra guys you could use for further Places of Power use and passive boni.
  23. You go and pay cash by clicking on the three buttons displayed here. Spending 100.000 gives 40 points, a million 400 and ten million 4.000 points. Since all three buttons are greyed out/inactive you apparently haven't enough cash in your pocket, meaning below 100.000.
  24. Entering and playing the game doesn't reset the timer. You need to continue challenging the champion every 15 Minutes (the resting time) until you have won the current open round. The champion Alban in Sky Harbor is currently the most powerful one so he reduces the gained impression the most. It can be tracked in the champion screen when hovering over the Impression bar. If the challenge has been started, there shall be a blueish timer right beside the bar counting down 24 hours and then the reduction will happen, it can't be prevented except by winning the current bout before the time runs out.
  25. This was written in the patch notes of week #35 so if/when that is implemented the problem should be mitigated.
