  1. It's a subjective interpretation, but here's the way I see it: If that ten seconds is significant, then yes, leveling a rewards girl is a good idea. If it isn't, then it means you've dumped a bunch of resources into that rewards girl that could have been going to Felicia. So Felicia's effectiveness has been diminished, but the rewards girl made up for that. Or perhaps the best way to put it is that the rewards girl earns her keep, at least, or better. But I can assure you of one thing, or more appropriately, one pair of things: my leveling of Felicia (or Keira, for that matter) alone was certainly more efficient than my leveling of any pair or trio of girls. I didn't miss leveling them for any thing like ten seconds, as I was clicking to level them pretty much constantly. That is to say, I didn't leave it alone and allow it to do its own thing, but rather, I actively kept up with the clicking. On the other hand, when leveling more than one girl, I had to take the time to scroll between them. So if there was any lag in effectiveness, it was when I was leveling multiple girls, not when I was leveling Felicia, alone. And yet, the Felicia/Mani pair was still ten seconds faster.
  2. Mani is a Gacha girl. I've had her forever, so she's my go-to girl for boosting rewards. I think Sabrina is probably better, but I don't have her enhanced to the level I have Mani.
  3. Okay, so I've seen the math. I understand. Felicia is the irresistible force, the unstoppable juggernaut, the dreadnought that can't be denied. But I have to admit, on some level it didn't make sense to me, viscerally, that only leveling Felicia with no support from any other girls was the way to go. Oh, sure, I was doing that, and in the office that was working out fine for me. But on the current event, where I was having trouble, it put me in mind of doing a little testing of the hypothesis. I don't maintain that these results are categorical, or that they deny the mathematical realities. The tests could have been done better, particularly through repetition, but I was not going to devote that much time to this. It took over an hour as it was. Also, it would have been nice to have all three girls fully enhanced, but it's going to be a while before I get the ingredients to do that for Mani and Keira. So you get what you get. Conditions: Speed runs to max level, idle only, no clicking (except, of course, to level the girls up). No power-ups, no buffs from the shop or Gacha. Keeping the girls leveled up to maximum as quickly as possible. Starting level for all girls: 10120 Felicia, fully enhanced to lvl. 10000. Mani, enhanced to lvl. 8000. Keira, enhanced to lvl. 9000. A bunch of highly leveled charms, but most importantly for this matter, Sex Tape Souvenir at lvl. 581, for a click-to-idle addition of 5.82k%. Here are the results: Leveling Felicia, only: 13:12 minutes Leveling Keira only: 17:10 minutes Balanced leveling of Felicia and Keira: 13:16 Balanced leveling of Felicia and Mani: 13:02 Balanced leveling of Felicia, Mani and Keira: 13:22 Of course, I didn't do a speed run with just Mani, since I don't think that could actually be called a "speed run." I also don't know that it would be possible. So my interpretation of the results is that yeah, Keira was a bust in terms of her powering an idle game through click-to-idle conversion. But in combination with Felicia, that difference was only a matter of four seconds, so I'll want to revisit this when I get her last enhancement. In fact, even with their current enhancements, that time difference could possibly be chalked up to the necessity for constant scrolling between them to level them up (wouldn't it be nice if we could rearrange the girls in the list? Seems to me I've seen that requested a few times....). But the big surprise was that it actually is effective to level a rewards girl, as leveling Mani shaved a full ten seconds off of my best time for leveling Felicia, alone. By the way, in the event I'm leveling all three, even though that produced a slightly worse result, here. But I'm doing it so that I can use the click-based power-ups, Smouldering Eye, Manly Sweat and Neptune's Touch, as they become available. Since Keira provides a nice boost to my idle game, and I don't have Mojo Ring in the event, leveling Keira is necessary for this.
  4. Thanks to those who provided advice! I'm doing my power run to the end of the event, now, since I won't have the time to devote to it in the next two days. So in lieu of that, I dumped a bunch of ryos into buffs from the shop, something I never do! But I'm currently at stage 4079, so I expect to be done tonight. I've always played an pretty much and idle game, even on events (see below). It's only failed me twice, but I'm gaining some understanding of why that was, now. In the office, I use Felicia exclusively. For those other questions, again, see below (I...uh...kinda typed this post backwards 😆). As I mentioned, I've always played an idle game in the events, with the exception of using the Touch of Neptune power up, in conjunction with Mojo Blast and Smouldering Eyes, when they're available. There have been times when I've finished events within the first few hours, too. But there have been two events I was unable to finish, and at times I thought this one would go that way, too. It's looking good, though. And I still don't have Mojo Ring. I'm leveling Keira, instead, which gives a nice little bump to my idle power, as well. Hate to disagree, but I actually have some brand-spanking new evidence to the contrary. I just ran a series of office speed runs to max stage, and found that balanced leveling of Felicia and Mani gave the best run. The difference was a matter of seconds, but it was there. Gonna publish detailed results in their own thread, since they don't really have anything to do with the event. I'll try to remember to toss a link into this thread. ETA: Make that stage 4100. Almost there!
  5. And there it is: speed run to max level in about 13:40, with Mojo Ring at level 504, but without a single click. So yes, you're right, Mojo Ring doesn't do anything for your idle, even with my click-to-idle at 5.82k%. So I guess my best option is just to do what I've been doing, inching along with each reset. Think my next move will be to dump a bunch of mojo into Mojo Hotstones, since what really stops me is when I can't get through a boss level without a Manly Sweat power-up.
  6. @Cursed666 -- So your method is to use all of Felicia's power through your idle-to-click conversion? Interesting, since I'm really doing very little of that sort of thing in the opposite direction. In fact, not having Mojo Ring at all in the event, I don't even know why I just bothered getting Keira up to her to level 8000, just to get that enhancement working. Must be tired. Trying to do that speed run, with Mojo Ring at 1.01k%, but I just got the frickin' memory leak error! Stopped the clock, though, while I refresh. We'll see if I can still get an accurate representation....
  7. And you're playing as an idle game, hunh? Hunh. So strange, since like I said, I just tried dumping a bunch of mojo into Mojo Ring in the office, and it didn't seem to make any difference at all in my idle !. Maybe I'll try another speed run to max stage see if that's accurate.
  8. @Cursed666 No, but I play an idle game, so I don't really use it, anyway. In the office, for instance, I've literally got it on level 1, while Sex Tape Souvenir is on level 581. And my fastest speed run to max stage in the office is 13 minutes. I've always wondered, though, if bumping Mojo Ring up would also up my click-to-idle rate from Sex Tape Souvenir. Right now, I've got 18 crafts, so I'm pretty close to the point of diminishing returns, where I figure I should be dumping mojo into the crafts I already have. My next craft will cost 481M, while my next reset will probably bring about 6B, so that's a pretty significant expense, especially with no guarantee of getting something useful, right? ETA: Worst part is that it's looking like my next reset, when I get up in the morning, probably won't bring in much more than my last one did. ETA^2: That seems to be a no on dumping mojo into Mojo Ring boosting your click-to-idle from Sex Tape Souvenir. Bumped it up from lvl. 1 to lvl. 333 in the office, and my idle ! didn't change.
  9. Okay, so five days ago I said I was going to do one more reset just for good measure, and then marathon to the end. Four days ago, I said I was finding the event to be a long, slow slog (clearly, I didn't marathon to the end the day before). And here I am, still grinding. At least I'm getting a little farther with each reset, but not by much. Last reset was at about 3600, which is a far cry from 4200. So what should I be doing? I'm concentrating my mojo on Mojo Amulettes and Malenki Chinpo, primarily, but with significant dumps into anything else that will help my idle game. Got Felicia fully enhanced, and both Mani and Keira (Sex Tape Souvenir lvl. 175) enhanced to level 8000. Honestly, I really thought I'd be done by now. Anyone who wants to chime in with a "Here's what you do..." would be welcome.
  10. I'll share my own experience, here, as someone who has been playing since before enhancements existed at all -- since before there were events, for that matter. It took me so long to get some of the enhancement items that I was starting to wonder if the system was bugged and those items didn't actually exist, or if it was set up so that they didn't come through in dailies and you had to play Gacha to get them, or something like that. For me, this was particularly true of the handful of mojo candy, the cheap mojo nail polish, and the marketing lessons for juniors. Since there was one item for each type of girl that I wasn't getting at all, I thought that was intentional on the part of the devs, in order to try to get us to engage in other parts of the game. The effect was so prevalent that I still haven't finished upgrading Mani or Keira. And I'll add that, for as long as I've been playing, I only just learned last week about not claiming dailies in order to influence rewards. So what I've received should have been as close to random as the game can do. That said, "random" is not synonymous with "evenly distributed." For instance, we've all probably had the disconcerting experience of taking a multiple choice test in which several questions in a row have the same correct answer option -- #12: d...#13: d...#14: d...#15: d.... This actually indicates that the test is truly randomized, and if you take a test that doesn't do this, it has been artificially randomized to make sure it doesn't happen (the term for that is "pseudo-random"). The way that math actually works is that a truly randomized multiple choice test will have strings of the same answer option in a row that are a random number long. And this random number includes 0; truly random systems will include zero of an option for a long time. That said, few systems, few things in existence are truly random. The direction a particle will take when exiting the split nucleus of an atom during nuclear fission, for example, is truly random. Most things we observe as being random are actually either pseudo-random to some degree, or arbitrary. And computers can't actually do random, only pseudo-random (except for the rare machine that can do random number generation based on a naturally-occurring random effect, like the above example). Decades ago, I wrote code to illustrate this, a loop in which a randomly generated number from 1-8 determined where a pixel would be plotted in relation to the pixel plotted in the previous loop. What seemed like a random string of numbers when looked at as just a number set actually evinced an exactly repeating pattern. Granted, computers have gotten better at imitating randomnicity since then, but either way, whether approaching true randomnicity or relying on pseudo-randomnicity, the effect is the same: unless the system is engineered otherwise, there should generally be individual items we will not get for a long time. So can we lay off calling each other dishonest, or bad players, and just agree that we all have different in-game experiences? BTW, I'm finding this event to be a long, slow slog.
  11. @LanceHardwood -- Yeah, man! I've got 18x enhancements on Felicia, but I'm a little stalled at stage 2950. I mean, that's okay, it's still day 1 of a 10 day event, and once again, I haven't really been devoting all of my time to it, so I'm not fearing the worst, yet. But contrary to what I posted a few hours ago, I think they may have finally found something like the right balance!
  12. Yup, just like I've said before: either too easy or too hard. No middle-of-the-road.
  13. Hate when that kind of thing happens. But fortunately, I just got click-to-idle as my seventh charm. Probably won't bother with any more. Might do one more reset (just for good measure, since I got Mojo Runic Wallpaper, too) before marathoning to the end.
  14. Are they? I remember that from a long time ago, but I didn't think that was how it went down in the last clicker event.
  15. That must be it. I literally don't remember the last time I had to click to start. It even felt weird after my first reset.
  16. Me, too. Maneki Chinpo and Mojo Amulets were two of my first three, so I should be in good shape.
  17. It's been so long since I've actually played this game as a clicker rather than an idle game that I plumb forgot!
  18. Am I missing something? The event doesn't seem to be working, there's no initial advancement to gain any ymens to level up the girls. I mean, granted, I haven't had my morning cuppa coffee, yet, but I don't remember ever having had to find some way to kick off the event, before. ETA: Okay, so I see the line, " You will be able to play the Music Event if you have performed wild enough in the Office and your stage there is over 1 250." I'm currently at stage 12,885 in the office. What do I have to do, next?
  19. Wait, you can leave dailies unclaimed into the next day without losing them?
  20. Yeah, the announcements on Discord said 500, but yes, I got 1000.
  21. If official announcements are going to be made on Discord, can we get an in-game link to there, instead of to these forums?
  22. The explanation was posted on Discord, rather than here in the forums. You can read it here:
  23. What I don't get is why something like this is being announced on Discord, and not in the "Official Announcements" here on these forums, or through in-game notifications.
