If you have not figured it out yet, the "upgrade" scenes are not "oh this girl gets me more money so it must cost more." Instead its a linear system that increases the cost per each girl you obtain. Since you got Julliete after Bunny. Bunny is the cheapest you'll ever encounter, Julliet has increased costs. And if you paid attention to the number differences from scene 4 & 5 from both girls. If you don't want to spend the money you can spend kobans and yes i don't go around spending kobans to upgrade all my girls she was the first one i used kobans instead of money to upgrade did you read the part that i said other girls need more than 600 kobans just to be upgraded to 1 star?,600 kobans to save almost 2 million is a good deal since it's the same as getting that much money for that many kobans i am at magic forest in the story which pays a maximum of about 10-15 thousand a boss battle so it still is not fast to earn a million at my level since it would take about 60-70 boss fights in magic forest to get that much depending on how many times you get more than 10k also legendary items that you can get lucky to get from epic pachinko at my level at level 77 sell for 35,704 which you could get from that many kobans for 1 game so i am not even sure if a level 400 item from epic pachinko sells for that much so even if you were level 400 you would not be able to sell a item for that much money. Not only do you save almost 2 million which you get to keep for other stuff like upgrading your other girls or playing great pachinko with which you could use to win the casino contest with at your level but you also get profit from every payment she gives and do not have to wait for her to pay the almost 2 million before you start making money off her also her stats are good since when you increase affection level stats increase as well so it's not just leveling that increases stats affection does as well. Her main stat is charm so she is good for any charm players also using that much money on great pachinko at your level give you a chance to get more than one legendary item while you would be lucky just to get 1 legendary item from epic pachinko also with the casino contest on you can win kobans and money as well. If not, why spend on them? in exchange for a single scene? I mean, yes this is a porn game, but it does not mean that all players are idiots and will spend money on something that is not worth it just because there is a porn on it. The point is, Why spend money/kobains on something that's clearly not worth it. even thinking about the stats, probably she's good for a charm guy, but it's still too expensive, it's like the final gear in games that you can only gain after beating it. and for that kobains you spend you can try to gain another girl that can do the job and be cheap than her. If you use kobans you get more money from her since you don't lose money to upgrade and pay no money she pays out more than any other current girl so she is worth it also upgrading affection also increases their stats it's not just leveling up that increases stats in the game.she pays 5850 while bunny only pays 5000. You don't have to upgrade her but you will get nothing else in the game for that many kobans for that much pay off i agree with the money being to much which is why i used kobans instead you should have heaps of kobans from the event missions plus doing all your missions every day also gives 150 so 4 times 150 is the 600 kobans needed for the upgrade so it does not take long. In fact as many people have pointed out elsewhere, you are basically just paying for the privilege of seeing the affection scenes. Money returns/stat increase, (which I hadn't noticed, really?) just aren't worth it. Money obviously, and any incremental increase in stats would be far outweighed by putting all that cash into buying stats in the market. And the best part - well you don't have to pay the cash to see the affection scene anyhow. Just leave it sitting at the upgrade screen (Sorry OCD peeps!). Because my expertise is know-how, I declined to upgrade her to the 5th star until I had lots of spare cash - she's a lover. But if you think that's expensive, try to upgrade Ankyo to her 5th affection star!! Again, she is a specialist in hardcore so has little value for me, so she can wait until I get more cash in my third game (I'm a shagger in this game), but she may continue on her merry way and still offer little cash or stats. That remains to be seen. For my earliest game, I'm saving my bucks in the unlikely event that I win that hottie with the raven hair and brown complexion who is on Finalmecia's team. Of course, I don't know her name until and if I win her. I hope her expertise is know-how cos I want to upgrade her through all her affection stars so I can see her pics. Oh, and vindication!! My decision to accumulate gifts from spare cash has paid off as I suggested it might. However, I didn't need to offer Red Battler or Ankyo gifts as they were already set to upgrade if I had enough cash - a little gift from Hentai Heroes maybe? Neither were ready to upgrade in my newest game, however, and a still need patience and sacrifice to accumulate enough cash. I'll see if Red Battler offers good enough stats to move her to my battle team since she is know-how in this game. Yes, I do need to get out more, I know, since it's only a game and these girls are merely the creation of great artists who understand anatomical aspects of subtle human body language. Although... whoever drew Jennie for her scenes in Hamelin Town was different from the person who drew her in Gems Kingdom! Her features and eyes are totally different. Ankyo is different too... a lot prettier and less of an underage girl nerd cum techno racer in the latest affection upgrades. Red Battler looks the same, but she is really pretty in her latest affection scenes, especially in her eyes and expressions. By the way, what does it take to progress beyond newbie? I've been playing since Christmas and have learned a lot about tactics and strategy and how much cash one needs in reserve for costly stages in progressing through the quests, especially that damn Juy Sea which seems to demand a lot of cash at just about every step in its early stages, all because Eugenie is a bit of a glutton and likes expensive poultry! It would be nice for the game to be balanced out a bit more in each of the worlds. Oh, and I still believe the probability algorithm to win girls from the bad guys has definitely changed. Since my last gripe about this, though,no sooner did I submit my post when I won Pelagie! Since she's a strong hardcore girl I would've preferred to win Kelina in this case, but them's the breaks. The prices for everything in this game since the "rebalancing" are ridiculous to where you have to constantly farm your harem and fight the highest bosses you can as much as possible JUST to win money to try and be able to afford to level up your girls (rather than care about unlocking NEW girls). During this event I also tried getting my hands on Haloween Julliette but not before I ensured myself of a little reserve in cash (to compensate for less cash coming in). So; playing plenty of arena battles (even winning a few contests because of it) so that I could now spend time on the Dark Lord. Basically... level up your girls affection(costs money, but also generates a nice continuous revenue), do arena battles whenever you can (gets you more money in the overall), keep an eye out on the market and sell stuff you don't need and... be sure not to spend all your money but keep some reserves. That will help with the storyline whenever you need to pay 150k to get a pair of condoms delivered. Even playing 2 times a day (in the morning & evening) can help.
