Having a little bit of fantasy background for each girl is one of the nicer aspects of the game, but currently 1-star girls don't have any. The backstories and bits of trivia have been written for 1-star girls, and they're actually in the game (well, in the code at least), but they don't show up because of the basic rules for a girl's harem page (which includes revealing the text gradually as you upgrade them to their third star). I think they plan on fixing this eventually, but I imagine it's a fairly low priority right now. The wiki copied the text and included it for each girl's page, though.
