Importance of the selecting girls for champions query.

As you know there is 10 girls that are selected for champion battles but there is only 5 girls from the champion that require to be matched against. Is there more importance to be able to match the full 5 girls in the first row or if you have a second girl that matches to put the second matched girl in the bottom row so potentially over the ten picks we have that you could have more than 5 girls matching theirs in total. Would this be more preferable to get a higher amount of impression against the champion ? Hopefully that comes across properly as to what I mean. Thanks

Matching rotate for the whole lasting of the fight, it can last 100 rounds and rotate 10 times. The second row ideally matter as the first one.

  • You1 vs Champion1
  • You2 vs Champion2
  • You3 vs Champion3
  • You4 vs Champion4
  • You5 vs Champion5
  • You6 vs Champion1 << notice
  • You7 vs Champion2

...and so on.

The most you can match the better.

Anyway, matching is not a complete win situation: it just double the damage you deal. Avoid feeble girls the more you can, they will double the nothing they do. You should also put your stronger girls first, as the battle end the moment champion win and you want to deal the higher damages before that.

So, the logic is mostly... sorting out the stronger girls. Put them first. If they match the pose the better. An average girl can deal good damage if matching and put early in line, but a feeble girl will suck whatever and should be put later in the line (even if matching elsewhere).

Damage dealing is the winning key, matching the pose is only a chance for you to spoil, not the absolute requirement.

He means that a weak girl (e.g. lvl 1 with 0*), even with the right pose, is not a good choice. A strong girl (L5 with a few hundred levels) with a different pose would be better.

Of course, a strong girl with the matching pose is always ideal, when possible.

For strong bosses (e.g. Stage 5, or Ezekiel for CC), you should focus only on your first 5 or 6 girls, to make sure you get all the matching poses. The fight won't last more than 5-6 turns anyway, so any girl beyond position 6 will never be involved in the fight.

For weaker bosses (Chayotte, Stage 1-4 of classic Champions), you should try to get more matching poses (Even in the 6~10 positions). It's always a good idea to have matching poses for positions 1-3 at least, because these girls are more likely to fight twice in the entire battle (And at least once for sure).

To know if a battle is easy or difficult, you can focus on your first 5 girls (5 matching poses), do a test fight (See how far you go: if all girls get a fight, or if the fight ends in less than 5 rounds). If the fight is short, focus on the first 5 girls exclusively, and pick the strongest possible ones. If the fight is longer, try to get more matching poses on both rows, even if it means only 4 matching poses in the first row.

For Chayotte specifically, it's more important to ensure you have all Charm/Know-How girls in the second row than to maximize matches. The reason is that Chayotte has the lowest damage output of any champion, so the defensive abilities of Charm and Know-How get a lot of activations which lets you survive to get back to your more powerful top-row draft more often. If you out-level the rest of your club too much you have to be careful with this strategy, as it's possible to actually out-heal Chayotte's damage in which case you'll defeat him in a single fight. This hasn't been an issue for me in a while since my club's average level has risen and they did buff the champions to make them a bit harder, but for a while there I had to carefully throttle my drafts to avoid 1-shotting him due to an infinite healing combo.

While this strategy isn't going to be a huge deal against any other champion, Charm and Know-How are still better abilities than Hardcore when not getting matches.
