I actually got her the first day I was farming Gruntt, I used up kobans to progress from the 2nd world to the 3rd during this event just to try and get her before the event was over, figured that was a better way to spend my newbie kobans and have a few days trying to farm her from Gruntt. Thankfully that first day farming I picked up her and one of Gruntt's other girls, so I'm happy I have her and that's 1 less to worry about. Mary is the event girl, which if you have 12 of the events done, I believe you get once the event ends in a day or 2. Don't think you get her until after the 14 days have passed. If you already completed 12 missions, then she appears as soon as you enter the activities tab. If you had 11 missions completed until that moment, then she will appear as soon as you accept the reward of 12th mission. Tl;dr wait for the last day of the event.
