In order to spur interest in the forums, I'd like to suggest special competitions that are announced only through the forums that don't show up in the regular contests. Perhaps for a particularly large winning chain spree in the arena, stat buffs for those who have devoted a great deal of time to playing the game (and are therefore more likely to buy things), people who make objectively useful and reasonable improvement suggestions toward the game without proposing unrealistically time-consuming measures for implementation, bug reporters, &c. Only broadcast these incentives in the forums.
