I've been doing alot of grinding for girls with the new system they put in place, the affection meter system, and it seems to be bugged when it comes to doing battles x10 where you will get it more frequently and in larger numbers when doing it one at a time rather than the x10 method, i'd honestly like to see this fixed because you need to spend kobans for the x10 method and it not paying out how it should doesn't really seem all that fair to me, then again it might be intentional them cutting the amount of affection per x10   contrary to increasing it which really wouldn't make sense so if this is a bug please fix it

are you sure because it seems if i'm using kobans it should be paying out more than 3 shards, maybe, at a time where when i will go one at a time i'll often come out with upwards of 6-10 ,  per 10 battles ,in rare cases more. It just doesn't seem to be working properly at the moment but that's just what I think. I am a bit annoyed I wasn't able to get the new legendary girl solely because of this new system clearly not working correctly but I don't expect the devs to care or really do anything to fix this until more people bring attention to it.

it's pretty clear the drop rate decreases when using the x10 function. Anyone who plays the game and does their battles regularly would see it plain as day, the new function doesn't seem to have been fully tested and i lost out on legendary days because of it. Do I have source code and a bunch of techy evidence? No, but I really shouldn't need to present an overwhelming amount to prove my case. Play the game and see for yourself that the x10 method doesn't pay out as well over the standard nearly 50% of the time. Like i said I don't expect the devs to care very much I just figured i'd say something about it because it's very obvious it's not working as intended.

I have tested both the 10x button and the single battles every day.
My results are overwhelming in favour of the 10x button...
For example today, I got 4 shards in total from 20 fights done with the 10x button, and the remainder of the day (~25 fights) I've gotten just 2 more shards.
That's double the amount in less total fights.
I therefore conclude that the 10x button is the way to go for everyone.

I've been screwed over multiple times by the x10 button in this regard, throughout all of legendary days aswell as before when it was first implemented it was abundantly clear that while on occasion it's better to use the x10 method, more than half the time it will pay out more doing it one at a time, either I have bad rng or it's just not been implemented in a way that makes using the kobans not worth the risk of it not paying out how it should, which would be double the average of doing it one at a time, which for me is about 4-6 shards per 20 fights where as the x10 method seems to pay out an average of 2-4. I'm not saying it was an intentional blunder but it is a blunder none the less.

The 10x button is pure convenience.
It adds no extra bonus other than needing less time to do all of them.
There seem to be a lot of people who think their time is worth the kobans, so that's why it's there.
Personally I think it should be used as little as possible, because it's just a waste of kobans, because other than the time you save, it doesn't give you any advantage/disadvantage in the game.

I guess you're right when you put it like that, but, i still think the new system could be tweaked slightly to pay out a little more, I know you won't get all the event girls every time they come around but I did this one fully and didn't miss any battles and still didn't get even halfway T-T I don't doubt the devs know what their doing I just get a bit frustrated knowing I did everything I possibly could and didn't even come close to my goal. I'm not sure how they could tweak it, maybe increase the rates a small amount but other than that i'm unsure .

If you are talking about the legendary days, then I think that 30-40 shards at the end is about average for no refills.
I can see how that can be frustrating, but these girls are legendary and should be hard to obtain.
If you get anywhere close to completing her in the revival, I would strongly advice you to use some kobans on refills (save the kobans you would use on 10x, and you might get another refill out of that as well).
With a couple of refills, you should be able to get her.

That's what I was aiming at. It has never been announced, that the 10x button would increase the drop rate - so it's hardly a bug, if it doesn't...
