  1. Uhhhhhh, No, I have had the same problem. As I have moved from an Ego of 2,000 to just over 80,000, the opponents that I have in the Arena very regularly have 30% higher Ego than I. They are never more than 2 to 3% lower (at least this happens very rarely). In other words, it doesn't matter what you get your Ego up to, opponents are chosen based on Ego and 80 to 90% of the time have higher Ego and in the neighborhood of 80% of the time, completely unbeatable. Another thing to look at would be to give the boosts a percentage boost rather than a score boost. When attack is less than 1,000, getting a 200 point boost is significant. When attack is close to 20,000 a 200 point boost is virtually worthless. While not so much now as it was when I first started, if opponents were chosen based on amount of time since starting the game, I would have better situations.
  2. The main thing that I would like to see is some method through which we know we will get the girl. If I wanted to gamble I would go to Las Vegas. I don't gamble because I know in the end I am going to lose and there are other types of entertainment that I prefer. It is extremely frustrating to fight hundreds of battles with a villain and not get a girl to drop, especially when you want to get that particular girl to drop. I can think of a few methods, such as that suggested by YummyTiger, increase the drop rate by so much for each time a particular player fights the villain. I am sure there are others. We need a sure-fire way to get a girl to drop. Frustrated customers tend to leave.
  3. Likewise; this is the one girl that I want badly. I have focused all of my combat energy on fighting Donatien to try and get her to drop even with all 3 contests based on points for fighting villains (I am up to Finalmecia). My game doesn't appear to have the option of playing 10 Epic Pachinko to get her to drop. I am extremely hesitant to spend kobans for additional combat energy on just the chance of getting her to drop. Is there a specific number of battles to get to where she will drop no matter what? If there is and I knew what it was I would target getting to that number. I am not sure exactly how many combats I have had but it has been all since she became available on the 21st and I have not let my combativity energy meter get full during the 4 days (so ~190).
  4. I played the 1st week of league and was in 3rd place, moving me up to the second level. In the second level I was placed with a lot of people at higher levels, thus with higher Ego. During the 2nd week I got 57th place. Coming up with a strategy, I did not fight during the 3rd week. I ended up in 100th place and was demoted but received a message that I missed enrollment and that now I have to wait for an entire week to play in the leagues again. Is there anyway this can be rectified, am I the only one that this happened to. It was my understanding that the bottom 15 players would be demoted. It was not my understanding that any players would not be enrolled for the next week; am I mistaken?
  5. I was thinking the 2 weeks was too long from the start. With being able to play throughout the day, I would have been able to have roughly 240 bouts during the 2 week period. Given the number of people with much higher Egos, this would have left me taking bouts where I would have been the loser (giving me 1 point instead of 3) making the league more about how long you have been playing the game and less about how often you play the game. My expectation is that playing the game often is what the developers are after so the reduction to a week for time and increase in opponents to 120 are both very good moves. There is definitely no need to keep the first league at the 2 weeks, option 1 is definitely the best option.
  6. How do you check a boss to see what girls are available?
  7. I am having the same problem. However, I actually like that it keeps the points. This way I can buy a book that gives 40 XP points and give it to a girl that only needs 9 for the next level and then when I level up again, she levels up automatically, my already having purchased the points for her. This way I don't have to try and purchase 10 to 12 points for each of 12 girls every time I level up. I would like to see the problem where a girl gets stuck on a lower level fixed though. Trying to cycle through each of the girls every time I level up really doesn't work very well, especially when I need my strongest girls to win a lot of the battles that I am in.
