You people that got blocked, did you only do one stat at a time or all 3 evenly? I just did a run at stats top last week and upgraded all 3 evenly spent about 9k clicks total and had no problem. I was going back to the arena every so often (100 or so) to check new ego and attack/defense values.

The point of the long time to refill completely 10hr for 20 combat and 12hr for 100 energy is that so people can sleep or work for 8hrs and not max it out. The energy costs only get worse on world 10 and 11 the scenes cost 20-30 per page. On the other hand when you do manage to catch up with the story you probably will sit on max energy for a few days or up to a week depending on how long it takes to release a new scroll. I have been playing for almost 2 years now, I think the best use for kobans is refills on combat to finish event girls. If you take the value of Epic pachinko at 5400 as a solid price to get a girl, by using combat refills on the Epic or Legendary Days events on average should cost about 3-4k per girl.

Bosses dropping gear would be the only boss to battle because the sell too high. I have a green lv 343 item selling for just under 400k, that's like 13.5 times roko.

When I try to battle with no combat energy, it changes form the screen with the judge to the battle arena and pauses for a bit and then pops up a message that says "not enough fight energy". It used to just prompt to buy a refill.
