It probably depends on your team and bracket. I'd agree that'd be my assumption, if not for the new booster sims.
Half & Half chlorella (2) and cordyceps (2), plus an LM, is currently suggested to be the best option for me, if they're boosted. 4 chlorella plus an LM is best if they're unboosted.
Whether or not they're using reflect on defense, makes a big difference. Using cords in that scenario just hurts yourself more.
I'm using a 40% shield.

It's confirmed to be possible to see ME HA girls in the SM. Made me wonder if it'd be worthwhile to get the HA cards now, to add Fae Finalmecia to the pool. Reality is that I'd only gain 66 sapphires, bringing my total to 106, which would only be enough for 20 shards. Therefore, it's not worth getting the cards yet. Also, they'd just give 132 CP.

I recruited Ephelia w/ 52 drops, from 390 CP, at an above avg 13.3% drop rate. Also, got every other girl to at least 40 shards, for the SM pool. Had Lexie prior, from getting the SE cards last Summer.
If I used some free regen CP, then it cost barely anything to reach my 40% goals. In general, it took about 200 CP to get 40 shards from scratch. Access to the Pantheon's new higher floors (2,000+), granted some extra free CP.
I don't think it's worth getting angry or sad over. It's just a parody. The original still exists. There are more important things going on in the world atm, to be concerned about. If the scenes, aren't great, then I'll just save my affection items for other girls, until she actually becomes relevant one week due to blessings.

I have 53% for Ephelia atm. I'll probably try to get her, despite not being familiar w/ her parody. I think her art is pretty high quality.
She's a Dom, and that's always useful, even though there aren't many strong girls w/ the golden eyed tier 3 trait.
I had Lexie already. She's definitely worth it. Has some of the best art in the game imo, including 3 different cosplay variants in her poses.
Sorry for procrastinating on creating this thread. I usually only get serious about LDs on the last day.

I like that the girls' attributes are visible now w/ little icons at the bottom, while hovering over them. Useful to check if a player is actually making proper use of girl skills. Also, to double check the synergy of your own teams. Wish it was like this throughout the whole game.
The booster sim on the league table is impressive. I see it shows that 4 chlorella + LM is best for un-boosted players, and 1 chlorella, 3 cords, + LM are best vs. the boosted ones. It helps me prioritize which players to attack first, w/ which boosters, before they're about to expire.
The skill sim makes me think that level 5 stun is the 2nd best, behind level 5 shield.

I also like the new column w/ bulbs, which is highlighted red if they're using a tier 5 skill. It'll help me focus on those players first. Mine shows 141, b/c I'm using 22 bulbs on 5 L5s (110), and 31 on my shielded M6.
Good to know that the browser's local storage can fill up, and it should be deleted after each league week. I don't actually make meaningful use of those .csv files. Before these scripts, I used to manually take snapshots, and graph out the players' scores over time for the LAA thread, but it was tedious, so I stopped doing it.
I do like the idea of seeing potential lost points. I've been keeping track of that just for my own score, but being able to see it for the players that might be threat, is useful. It isn't working properly for me atm, b/c I updated it in the middle of the league week, after clearing previous snapshots out of caution. Would definitely relieve some stress, to know a player you were competing w/ was way behind, w/ too many lost points to be a real threat.

Thanks. I overlooked this. I'll double check this later. An extra 180 sapphires would make it ~260 total, enough for Fae Finalmecia, to 40%, and 20% shards for other girls.

Ended in the top 5%, after the first event ranking, thanks to the MD, where I spent 838 CP. It's been 4 days, and I have ~2500 Xtals atm.
Here's my progress so far in the market.
@renalove made a good point about not really benefitting from the event's cards, if you wait until the end. @bolitho76's tactic of checking if the cards would help you maintain a 5% ranking, and then getting them for that purpose, makes sense too. Except that I'd rather get an MD discount. That'd be my preference.
This event overlaps the first day of the December MD (the 3rd). I'm more comfortable getting 360 CP on the last day, which can carry over into the MD. Maybe I'll get the cards during the PoA, to make that easier. 🤷🏽♂️
I honestly don't care about the parodies of any of these girls. I haven't played Genshin Impact. (I'm playing Starfield atm instead).

I assume that if you get 40% of a non-mythic girl, that she'll get added to the SM's pool, but we've never been able to get partial shards before, for SE girls, so I have no proof of it yet. It's an assumption.
Once I get 40% shards for the 4 new girls, I'd be satisfied, b/c I don't care if I get them anyway. It'll cost 144 sapphires to get 40% for Fae Finalmecia,
which isn't possible as F2P. Therefore, it's not even worth stressing about this event. I'll get what I can get, and probably save the sapphires for later, unless they can help some other girl get to 40% shards. I have 50% for Slava atm, so I'm done w/ her.Decided to make a table of the rewards to see them objectively, and learn their patterns. If I aim for ~16.6k Xtals, then 80 sapphires, & 340 random shards would be obtained. Don't know what's actually reachable yet, since there's different Xtal sources, w/ kisses removed, and pantheon worship added. Even w/ 80 sapphires, I can't get Fae Finalmecia from 0->40% (Just 20%), so I'll probably end up storing them, until I get at least 144-160 sapphires (plus 240 SC), which will definitely take 2 HAs (4 months). An estimate of 320 sapphires per year, as F2P, can get like 2 SE L5s from 0->40%. You'd need 360-400 sapphires to fully get 1 girl (w/o the SC/SM). Essentially, each sapphire is worth 1/4 of a shard (which is the same as SC for legendaries). I feel like they could've just replaced it w/ SC, which already existed (except that SC can't be used on girls w/o any prior affection shards).
If Fae Finalmecia will return at most only 1 more time, then I'll have to recruit her next time, 3-4 months from now, or at least get her to 40%. No guarantee she'll reappear either. It was just some chit chat w/ Rosso & Zoo, but at least it's being discussed. I think it's a waste to create these girls, and then make them unobtainable. We now have SC for the SM, and Sapphires for the HA, which both share the same purpose of recruiting past L5s, but the windows to gain and use that currency are strictly limited. Can't help but reminisce on "dating tokens."

Made some more hypothetical teams. I have 35 mythic bulbs, and 102 legendary bulbs, so I could equip 1 M6 and 4-5 L5s. My 5/6 Physical/Voyeur mythic hero gear have a 10% defense boost, which is higher than my Balanced set's 4%.
One team is definitely Gemini. There's 6 L5s total 🟠/🟣 that can boost the Gemini tier 3 trait. I have 5 of them, and 4 are maxed. The team has a 29% atk boost, b/c I took my bulb limitations into account, and lowered them from 23 to 20 or 21 bulbs each, compromising on tier 4 skills. I'd just have to max one L5 Shichi.
Noticed that a Taurus team is also possible, and it'd be a full physical team, so they'd all be blessed. Except, that I'm missing Hayden, from an SE, so it's not really doable for me yet.
Virgo has higher potential overall, and it's more appealing for the long term, but I'd have to spend more resources (GXP/Gems) to max an M6, and 3 L5s, to just be on par w/ the Gemini setup, so I'm leaning towards Gemini now.
It's worth keeping an open mind about these teams, and brainstorming until it's time to actually reset the skills. I usually end up figuring out something better, after I've already done it. Sometimes a compromise on one or two girls ends up being better somehow.
Maybe, I can make a balanced version of the Gemini one, swapping Shichi w/ Lovebot Norou, and give 4 L5 girls tier 4 skills instead, w/ the full 23 bulbs each. I'd lose some atk%, but TP would rise, and I wouldn't have to use GXP/Gems at all. I have the voyeur gems, so it's doable. 🤷♂️

I haven't reset any girl skills for the past 2 weeks, b/c the blessings made it unnecessary.
The last skill oriented team I made was w/ Sodomy 35% & Common 20%.
Then in HH, we had Mythic 25% & Dark Pink Hair blessings. I decided to just leave Alt. Finalmecia as my shield bearer, and swap in 6 other mythics, for a balanced team, which worked w/ my hero gear set.
Then, we had Brown Hair 40% & Aquarius 40%. I didn't see many good options for creating a whole skilled team centered around those blessings, so I did a similar thing as the previous week. Kept Alt. Finalmecia as my shield bearer, plus 6 other blessed girls.
Soon, there'll be Physical 40% & Gemini 35% blessings next week in HH. I think those blessings are worthwhile for resetting skills. Since one of my ideal teams is Virgo based, w/ many physical girls, and I have 5/6 of a physical/voyeur hero m gear set.
I finished in 2nd place in DIII, for the past 3 weeks, but only reset girl skills for 1/3 of the weeks. Blessings do affect my decision to reset or not. I think it's worthwhile to reset next week, b/c I could just keep that team semi-permanently. I use lvl 7 common RE, so it's less of a hassle to swap to a different team. Also, stocked up 1.2 billion ymens, since I didn't reset for 2 weeks. A ymen shortage was another factor to not resetting.
