Video instability on iPad w/iOS 15.1

The video becomes unstable then freezes the screen after a few minutes. Refreshing the screen or page resets back to town screen, losing my place with what I am trying to do. This start after the big patch in November. It seems to be a problem with the layers control of the image.

This happens on all the different screens.

Thats been happening on my ipad for over a year now. I've just learned to live with it. A refresh will help only for a little while but it always comes back. They may one day fix it as up until a few months ago going to the market would crash that page on my ipad. that is finally working now.

The thing is, Apple is infamously anti-porn (among other intrusive things they do to their loyal subjects). The game isn't officially supported on any Apple OS. This isn't specific to HH, it's true for anything sexy you might want to watch without the Steve Jobs legacy consent. So you can trade tips and tricks on how to make it work, or switch to hardware that allows you control of what you install and do.

I think Apple’s attitude is not really relevant here. They don’t control what you look at in your browser, only what they allow in their App Store. You can look at plenty of sexy stuff in the browser, no problem.

The relevant issue is that the game makers probably don’t test on Safari (or another WebKit-based browser), so it continuing to work on iOS is not guaranteed.

Since you cannot install a different browser engine on iOS (all browsers are required to use the system supplied WebKit engine for rendering web content), that does limit you if something is written only for Chrome (Blink engine) or something else.

You can write a support ticket to try and convince Kindkoid to test on Safari, but I don’t know if there are enough users on iOS for it to be worth it for them. And even if there are, some developers are just not willing or don’t have the time to add another test platform.

Same experience here, driving me crazy. Then based on feedback above i started googling and ended up installing Opera GX browser which supposedly is not using webkit. Despite a kinkoid warning about undetected browser detected, game experience is much better, experienced one partial load so far! 🎄🎁🎁🎁🎄

Sounds great! Opera is a great and fairly lightweight browser, and on top of that it has some really neat built-in features that can probably help (if the mobile iOS-compatible version you've found has them; I'm only familiar with the desktop PC version and I don't use any Apple hardware). I'm thinking about the User Agent addon (or plugin or whatever) in particular. You can install that and tell it to pretend your browser is actually Chrome when websites ask. For HH, you'll need to delete your cache and cookies first before it works, but then you should never see the "unsupported browser" thing.

I'm glad you iOS users are starting to find good workarounds. As I said earlier, the game isn't officially supported on iOS, so workarounds is the way to go.

Thanks for the tip, but for me it didn’t help at all on iPad.

I don’t think any browser on the App Store is allowed to use a different web engine, unfortunately.

Thank you, Opera GX FROM App Store seems to be working!!   Will keep you informed if it stops working. 👍
