Bug or terrible luck? (pachinko)

Disclaimer: I don't intend to file a bug/support request, as I have no proof, and that's why I'm posting in Q&A.

Yesterday, I burned thru 200 epic pachinko orbs to try and get the Legendary Girl.  After that I started spending money.  After a small amount of that, I got a 500 error from HH.  Rather than sit around waiting to see if it'd fix, I called it a day.

This morning, I had the Legendary Girl and it appears my money is reduced about the appropriate amount.  I had the 4 girls I got from epic orbs.  I seemed to have an increased number of gifts and books (didn't count exactly before I started but seemed higher).  However, looking at my EQ, I had zero new pieces from the 200 orbs I spent.  That surprised me...a lot, but I don't actually remember seeing any EQ dropping (thus no bug report) so have no proof anything got lost.  As I imagine is common, I started zoning out spending so much in a row, so perhaps there was, perhaps there wasn't.

Curious if folks feel I was just incredibly unlucky, might have been something that went awry or maybe the stats are really low on EQ drops for epics lately?

I know I read that Mythic stats are believed down for girls but hadn't seen any posts about epic orbs.

UPDATE (maybe answer) from Patch Notes Week #47 24.11.2021:

It's 0% on EP. Equipments have been removed from EP a few patches ago; they only drop in GP.

Edit: After checking the exact patch notes (see below), Equipment probability has been "lowered" in Epic Pachinko; not removed. But it's probably super-low now. I don't play enough EP Orbs to know what it is; but I don't expect equipment from EP anymore; I only rely on GPx10.

Could be. I don't remember the exact patch notes; maybe it has been reduced to like 1% instead of 0.

lowered probably means removed. I havent heard one single players reporting an equip drop since these changes. I played alone almost 500 games and didnt get one single equip.

So, it doesnt have to be necessarily a lie, but it's probably not better than getting a shard-x100 drop (in mythic days). I dont mind that they removed them from epic pachinko, we have enough options elsewhere - and with blessings, awakenings etc. equips arent that important anymore anyways.
