League: switching teams

do you have any idea about the rule behind switching teams in the league? Sometimes i use team "A", then i switch it to team "B", but people see me in the league with team "A" for hours.

Is there any unwritten rule ?

Normaly you see the team a player has active at the snapshot time (1/2h to 1h before reset, next snapshot after 6h, 4 times per day). In rare occasions there will be actualizations for single players but the rules for this rare occasions are not communicated (if I remember it well)
