Ben9
So this has been bugging me ever since I started playing - why do affection items often cost 1 extra gold if you buy bigger ones? I mean, its 417 per affection supposedly. So why does for example 60 affection item cost 25,021, instead of 25,020. Same for several others. I don't care about the 1 gold, I'd just like to know if theres a reason.
Chthugha
Hmm, that's weird. I've had this bug a looooong time ago. At some point it disappeared, and I still have no idea what caused it and how it was fixed
Ben9
Oh really its a bug? I just assumed it was that way for everyone. Mine has always been like it.
Chthugha
Oh right, I called it a bug... I am not exactly sure if it's a bug or something else. It shouldn't happen though.
Ben9
XP book prices are slightly odd too now that I look, I never buy them so didn't notice. Is it supposed to be 200 per xp?
PlusIon
it has to do with the way the game rounds.
Ben9
Affection points are always a whole number, there shouldn't be any rounding
_shal_
The price per point could be a non-integer number. For books, it seems to be something like 200.28 (for whatever reason), at least assuming that the individual item prices are in fact all exact multiples of the same base price. That being said, I doubt rounding is the reason that some affection gifts have a price one higher than expected - if the base price was something other than exactly 417, the effect should be most pronounced with the Legendary gifts' prices, but those don't show any deviation.
