  1. While I have resigned myself to just accepting such lost opportunities and moving on, using the word "just", gives the impression that this is somehow the users' fault, that somehow they should've foreseen this, and that they should simply accept such behavior. One can't exactly plan carefully for something that is completely unannounced and happens for the first time (at least to said person). Additionally, this comment appears to suggest that the developers didn't know about this and therefore it was not "to make sure people aren't cluttering the servers around reset". But, whatever...
  2. Any official fix on this? This happens before daily reset too. Just lost the top position in contests because of this bug.
  3. Also seeing this bug on my end too.
  4. Go to HH:Compare-All-Haremettes. Under the "Hardcore/Charm/Know-how Speciality" section, click on "->Open Spoiler<-". This will open a table, click on "Hardcore" in the table heading twice to sort HC values in descending order.
  5. Try logging out and then back in, and see if it resolves the issue.
  6. Try logging out and then back in, and see if it resolves the issue.
  7. In case, the devs aren't implementing this because they can't decide on the best way without breaking the present aesthetics of the market - they can include a drop-down menu setting for how many stat upgrades (1 to 10) equal one click in the market. This feature can be placed on the Settings page. That should be straightforward enough.
  8. It means that for a limited time, all the profile specific items (Character, Theme, Avatar) which can be bought by kobans or game money are discounted by 40%.
  9. Hope, you're correct. Although one 2nd position was last week.
  10. Coming to know of this is extremely frustrating. There had been at least two, maybe three, times when other players who had much greater ego but ~100 points below me due to missing battles, quickly in a short span, moved up in the ranking and bypassed me. In the first season when there were more possible opponents than free battles, the person who took first position, six days before the end wasn't even in the top 9 while rest of the eight players continued to remain among the top-nine up to the end. In one season, such a player took the top position surpassing me by 6 points while just a day before he was literally 90 points behind. Aside from that, there had been two other occasions when I had come 2nd, once with only a 13 point difference while the player after me was 45 points behind. Now, I'm not sure whether I wasn't cheated out of the first position those times too or not. Previously, there was some consolation that these players had to spend kobans; now I find out that remaining loyal to the game (and the developers), consistently making sure not to miss any point, remaining logged-in at the beginning of each season, consistently doing everything right, was in fact, a consistent a waste of my time.
  11. Definitely not talking about RNG, those calculations (if they can be called that) are almost certainly happening on server side, therefore, nothing that happens on a player's device should affect that. Just referring to whether correct information reaches back to the server or not. For example, 10 fights without adblock and 10 with one, count in total as 20 or 10? Such a mistake probably does not happen, Tower of Fame appears to record correct information too - but it shouldn't hurt to make sure.
  12. Just started using uBlock Origin while playing the game. The script blocker gets used to primarily block statisgeek.com (done automatically by default block lists), along with some other individual image resources. Just after starting to use the extension, I experienced the most unfavorable event drop at 580 fights. And this, when just last month average fights for 3 event drops was ~498. I understand that drop rates can go up to 700-1000 wins too, but from what I understand these unlucky instances happening so closely together should be quite unlikely. I just wanted to make sure that this was purely a common bad luck issue and not because uBlock Origin (or any other adblocker) was interfering in whatever information gets sent to the game servers which is used to decide the drop time. For example, because somehow the script blocker restricted the relevant information to be sent, the game servers recorded less number of fights than had actually been fought. Hope an official response can completely disprove any possible correctness of such a theory.
  13. The experience increase is present in daily quests (arena) and daily missions too.
  14. I started in July. Couldn't try for Katharina as the world was still unlocked for me. Definitely, 785 is just too damn high. I doubt I could have continued after that big a hit. I almost stopped playing on the " 394, 385, 322, 392(but no drop)" occasion. Unlike other players who would like to know the drop rates, some would be completely satisfied and their continued play, pretty much guaranteed, if there could be some sort of a guarantee that after a certain number of fights (like 200-300) a drop is guaranteed. The thing that turns players off, is to end up receiving almost zero reward for their loyalty. The lack of reward is exacerbated by the loss of millions in money and hundreds in kobans through contests, because of fighting lower tier bosses.
  15. Seriously? Which game are you playing? Some would call this pretty good luck. Total battles required for some of my last month's drops: 394, 385, 322, 392(but no drop). And now 425 battles with Dark lord but no drop, wish Donatien had taken this long because of the higher money reward. For me, highest number of battles before drop was 518 just a couple of months ago in September, and on top of that it was a 3-4 days event. Edit: Just re-read your original post, so maybe luck evening out instead of "good luck".
  16. You're correct, however, it is also true that big sales are usually announced a few days beforehand. Additionally, it is generally better to wait until the last day, however not when you're almost certain that you will need to use some refills and using them now helps you win a contest or two. Other than this I can never understand why some people use refills before the last day. At times like these, it helps to look at ones who had been far unluckier than you (like this guy or these ones) and count your lucky stars and remind yourself that you, untrue as it may appear, were actually one of the luckier ones.
  17. The Adventure girls (such as the pirate level) can take literally over a thousand fights to finally drop, while the event girls usually drop in a couple hundred fights, although in extreme unlucky instances they can also take over a thousand fights.
  18. The relevant logs would probably include the information regarding the amounts (experience, fights, Kobans etc.) that got wasted, and in theory their loss in contests should be recoverable. However, unless there are already present, the lines of code needed to recover the losses for all players automatically (which is extremely unlikely), the devs would need to do everything manually and they simply shouldn't be expected to go through the monumental amount of labour involved in such an endeavour. With regards to compensation, a straightforward solution would be to give everyone, at-least those who are above 0 points, the rewards of the first position. In this way, no one would feel hurt and the players instead of feeling anger and frustration towards the devs, would start wishing and hoping for the next time the devs make such a mistake. Additionally, probably remove the contests for a day and restart on the day after; no one should have an issue with this, since everyone would have gained the maximum they could've hoped to achieve. Also make an in-game announcement, so that all those who wait for the beginning of the contests, can strategize their sleep-loss or whatever they do to gain an edge.
  19. Yes, you're probably right. However, something similar is probably happening for equipment too because there is at least one player for whom common equipment disappeared after 40-41 girls and level ~100.
  20. "Between 41 to 200 : Rare items won't appear anymore and the Legendary gifts have now 20% more to appear." Items here should mean equipment, and if "Rare items" was actually meant to be "Common items", then I have seen a case where its been accurate.
  21. The rarity of market items depends on the number of girls. The following link is only for reference, it isn't entirely accurate since after around 40 girls common equipment no longer appears, but rare equipment still does.
  22. Although I appreciate the reply and generally agree with most, there really wasn't a need for it. I understand the unpredictability involved, however, it is also true that I have found drops repeatedly happening or being reported around certain numbers. I only wanted to know if someone had had a similar experience so that I could be more at ease with spending kobans. A simple "no" would've been entirely sufficient.
  23. First time commenting on this forum because I had too much frustration built up from this event. 500 fights with Edwarda and still no drop. It's like every month there is at-least one event which really messes up things for the players. However, as I was writing this I wanted to add that this endeavour also wasted thousands of kobans for me too. On realising that I was about 1 refill shy of 2000 wasted kobans, I decided to give one more try, just so that the "thousands" statement can be technically true. And lo, the drop finally happens in the third-last (i.e. 518th) fight. Judging from previous comments, I thought if one doesn't get a drop in the first 300 fights, then this would be one of those times when the player would end up spending 7,000-11,000 kobans to get a drop, therefore the attempt not being worth it. Anyone else had the first drop at around 500 fights? How many fights did it take for the second drop? Wanted to get a clue, unreliable as it may be, on whether to waste kobans on the second drop or not?
