  1. With the shard system the wide divergence between the greatest and least amounts of Kobans used has severely been limited. As far as I've read, for Epic days events, Kobans used for obtaining all 6 drops, have ranged from around 13K to around 18K. 13K will almost always require a 100-shard drop. There was one case of two 100-shard drops in the same Epic days event, which would've probably lead to 10K Kobans use, however, that player didn't intend to go for all six drops. I personally haven't seen 3-4K or the 20-30K figures. Across two months, Epic days event and the Legendary days event usually require a maximum of 22K (18K+4K) Kobans. From what I've read, about 6.6K Kobans can be received for free by active players guaranteed each month (without winning any contests) and D1's 16-30th positions would give another 3.7K. That makes ~20.6K for the two months. Therefore, usually, if not always, active players at D1 level should always have enough Kobans for boss fight drops.
  2. This is by far the luckiest figures I've ever seen for an Epic Days event's shard drops. Unfortunately or fortunately, this isn't how the system works. It's all RNG based, one player can get extremely lucky for a particular drop while another player can end up spending literally over a thousand Kobans more for that same drop, and that's in the shard system, in the old system it was much worse more unpredictable. For shared shard drop information, see:
  3. Or to put it in another way, for Energy and Combativity, the price is 0.36 kobans per minute.
  4. Are you referring to Energy (lightening symbol) or Combativity (fist symbol)? Combativity is the one which allows more fights with bosses. I think you have mistaken one for the other recently.
  5. Epic Days, 6 drops which are normally available only through Epic Pachinko are now possible to be won through fights with 6 different bosses. On average, a player needs 300-400 combativity/fights to win one of these drops. Aside from the ~200 free fights during the event, for the rest you'll need to have Kobans saved up.

    Ideas Main

Can be done through something like a checkbox.
  7. The Leaderboards are bugged and the data update has been lagging for a couple of weeks now (week 1, week 2). Wait one or two more Leaderboard updates and see if your actions finally get counted or not.
  8. The devs probably believe they already give out too many Kobans as it is, so having them in Daily Quest's is pretty unlikely. Mojo is only used to calculate near-strength opponents in the Arena, aside from that it is pretty much entirely useless, so no need for it. High Mojo, most of the time is actually a problem because it means that a player will get paired with stronger opponents.
  9. All this is extremely unfortunate. They must have had some game logs to partially or completely prove the lost-rewards claims. At this point, if they're not going to go through the trouble to check those logs, the convenient option might be to just give some concession rewards. The ToF weekly ranking have been broken for two weeks now (week 1, week 2), no certainty whether they'll be fixed this time around or not.
  10. Did do this for some time, however, it's usually too much of a bother since the difference is going to be at max 3-4 points per battle. Add to this that one can even go unlucky and actually lose. In the context of staying 16-30th and maximizing XP, losing is much more inefficient in the new system than it was in the old one, as close losses give way too many points with a quarter of the XP.
  11. I play the same as you, but I think fighting less battles is actually a loss, since this way players targeting 16-30th spots end up getting less xp than before.
  12. OK, got it now. Didn't consider that the bug could've been continuing for more than the last four-hours-time-period.
  13. I don't think there is much use in discussing this, but since you used the word "dumb", I suppose I should respond. Why the hostility? You should've quoted your next reply, the one I quoted and was specifically replying to, where you explicitly stated: In my humble understanding, this clearly means that in your opinion, stats calculation was dead, not lagging. Therefore, I replied that dead calculations scenario shouldn't have changed the rankings. Also, even in the lagging scenario (which I assume means that only a small portion at the beginning of the last four-hours-period got actually counted), since I spent affection pretty aggressively (~40 clicks/minute), there is significant probability that no one else was doing the same. However, it is still possible, since I started with the lowest value gifts which means that by the first 20 minutes I would've probably reached just 4,000 affection.
  14. I don't think so. If the last 4 hours were completely unused for the calculation for everyone then there is no possible reason why my affection position would have changed at all, it should've remained constant. Either only a small period from the last 4-hours-time-period was used, or the entire period remained unused only for specific players. In my case, as soon as the last 4-hour-time-period started I began spending affection at a rate of ~40 clicks per minute. My position decreased by 180 places. Even if only a limited period from the last 4-hours-time-period was used, it is quite unlikely that as many as 180 players would have spent more affection and more quickly than I did. Therefore, at this point, it appears more likely that the bug was limited to specific players for the entire time period.
  15. In keeping with the law that there is always someone else with worse luck, it appears I've also joined the select group of players who lost thousands of Kobans because of this game's bugs. I spent over 790,000 affection during the last four-hours-time-period before reset, I even finished an hour before reset. I even managed to click ~6,000 times in these three hours for offering affection. This should've gotten me a top-4 spot, if not the first position (the top-position up-to the last update was at ~655,000, my exact value should've been a little above 797,826). However, my position for affection actually decreased. The decrease proves that other players stats were updated during this time period, but mine weren't. I spent more than six months to save up this much affection, while diligently keeping a close look at the ToF each week during all this time too. I forced myself not to upgrade any drop, to keep getting the low salary reward, continued to save money therefore losing in contests, didn't upgrade stats for the last ~70 levels and neither the second legendary drop making me weaker in PvP and therefore losing out there too. During these months, I even upgraded my drops with ~120,000 affection purely through Arena wins affection rewards. All this in order to get the top position at least once while playing this game... @Mika Kinkoid, @Noacc, @horo kinkoid Please, please, please, kindly do not make all my efforts go to waste. This is already the second time, something similar has happened to me; the first time was when the last time-period used to not get counted.
  16. 354 and 407 fights, requiring ~5,000 Kobans. That should make you complaining guys feel better.

With this low a rate of shard drops, I'm now actually almost glad that I didn't have any more drops to win from bosses. Can someone else quote worse figures, so I can feel a little relieved.
  18. Some of the suggestions for Kinkoid in their recent official survey probably went something along the lines of: Worst event ever. How difficult would it have been to just add even a couple of new drops along with the regular event drops... Therefore, I also lean towards the idea that this is a reaction to the complaints.(Unless this was all a devious plan by Kinkoid; since they realized that anything below 2nd Anniversary level would be unacceptable to the player base, therefore, they needed to demonstrate how bad things could actually go before conveniently coming to the rescue and manipulating the players into being satisfied with only two drops. Or some other cold hearted manipulation as mentioned above.) In any case, this time the devs appear to have listened to the player complaints and have actually done something to fix the problem instead of completely ignoring it as has been done a number of times before. This unprecedented initiative from Kinkoid should be appreciated. Of course, we all hoped for more, but credit (as little as it may be) should be given where it's due.
  19. I really don't think the shards system is to blame here. As mentioned previously, even with the shards system two drops could've been included per boss, or even the case that the one that was included wasn't among those that almost all regular players already have. This would have been somewhat acceptable for a lot of the player base. Regarding the parallel to the previous Anniversary event, if the devs really wanted to, a similar experience could have been created with the shards system as well. For a boss having multiple potential drops, a programmatic condition could have been set which checked whether any of the potential drops' shards are > 0. When that condition was met (i.e. when the first shard dropped) a programmatic lock could then have been set on shards for all other drops. In this way, shards for other drops would've been entirely restricted until the first drop's 100 shards were completed. As far as I know, coding-wise, this wouldn't have been too difficult - I mean, if the devs really wanted to implement the system.Though, I have to admit that, not knowing exactly how the system is presently implemented, it is difficult to accurately guess how easy or difficult the task would've actually been. Regarding Norou in the Arena, from the first set of Legendary drops, if there is one specific drop, year-old Know-How players were likely to already have, it would've been Norou, therefore this definitely was quite demeaning and frustrating for KW players. It gets even worse, when one considers the fact that this new Arena feature is probably the only good and exciting thing, this event. The devs could have simply chosen some random (non-"Epic days!") Pachinko drop, which most players are unlikely to already have had.
  20. Event Pachinko is complete luck based. You might get better results or a lot worse.
  21. I was trying to not be negative in my previous comments because of some older players who appear to be overly motivated to defend Kinkoid whatever the case may be. However, judging from the discussion here and also on the French page, it would appear that this event is pretty much universally despised. Is it too early to say that this event is the single most disappointing event that Kinkoid has come up with? (Yet...) Apparently, most of the players would rather have had the normal Epic days! event, now those were exciting. Then there are those who already have Norou, one small ray of hope and then that got brutally crushed too. Not to mention, Kinkoid was advertising it as if this was going to be the best thing ever. 3 Kinky Years!... 3 Days to Go... 2 Days to Go... 1 Day to Go... Well, here's to saving Kobans for the next anniversary event. As someone on the French page quoted: I was expecting nothing, but I'm still disappointed.
  22. As someone who doesn't try my luck in the Pachinko, I'm already done for the event. Already have the non-Pachinko drops. Definitely was not expecting this.
