Could be a problem of the right words in another language. I'm not angry about it, only not happy. Not because, as a F2p player, I don't get the rewards. It's the Fact of direct paying in game with real cash and not with kobans like refills or Pachinko what's more my problem.

Maybe it helps if you would just view the 'Season Pass' as one of the usual bundles (or 'Special Offers'). Because this is what it basically is now. Just tied to your progress in the Season and available for a whole month. And with the option to claim your prizes whenever you need them.

If you get to the higher tiers it is even way more valuable than the usual bundles. So... nothing really there anymore to be angry about. Although I understand (and share) the negative feelings about real money offers of any sort in online games.

Either the easing up stopped once I won or a lot of heavier hitters are just sitting around the finishing level and clogging it up.

As Kenrae said - probably the second one. I'm also one of those guys sitting on the finishing line (for over 4 days now) - but at least I'm still trying to put on my trash gear or using level-1-haremettes as often as possible to wave other players through. For whatever it's worth.

You also mentioned club bonuses. How much do those affect you? (In general) Being without a club surely makes me a bit weaker than someone with similar level/stats, but is it much of a difference or just a slight boost?

With club bonuses you can get up to 10% on each stat. That means you are not just 'a bit weaker' than your hypothetical twin who's in a club with full bonuses, you will probably only be able to beat him when he isn't using boosters.

If you want to know what a club looks like, feel free to join mine:

Although I'd suggest joining a bigger club afterwards, if you like the idea of being in a club. You need a certain amount of members (willing to spend 252.000 koban in a collective effort) to max out the bonuses before the next ice age. I'm afraid, my club doesn't fit this concept. ;)

  4. Hmm, our different experiences are a little bit confusing. I still haven't noticed opponents outside the range of +/-40 levels or any mojo gains below 14 points. And it seems that I could even reach the highest tier a few days early. Not competing at all for almost 2 days and not boosting most of the time obviously didn't hurt my progress. So far so good.

If we could buy the season pass with koban there wouldn't be much to complain anymore. At least for someone as easy to please as me.

Running into more people closer to my level but now a new issue has cropped up, miminal mojo gains.

My recent mojo gains were still between 14 and 25, I think (level 353, slightly less mojo than you). So I haven't noticed any change there. Hopefully this isn't just another bug.

Indeed. So many answers that have proven my foul assumption wrong. Thanks to the statistics mob. ;)
Epic Days either flew under my radar so far or I simply forgot that the drop rate isn't much better than during the Legendary Days.

Heh, I'd love to share some luck. But usually I'm not that lucky. So I'll keep it all to myself for now. :P
Seems to have been a one-time-only anyway due to a drop of 26 shards in just 10 fights yesterday. The second day has been pleasantly average so far - no more RNG-hiccups.

  7. Got Sifra 10 minutes before the start of the event via Epic Pachinko. And already had 75 shards for her. But I won't complain. She's cute. :x

Btw (@Xemnas) - are you sure that you usually only get 50-60 shards during the whole event? If so, I had more luck today than ever with my villain battles. Already collected 41 shards in just one day. Is it possible that you're mixing up Epic Days and Legendary Days?

  8. Hey. I'm looking for some members for my club to... well, mainly to get all club bonuses to 10%. Why lie? ;)

    Name: Royal Plush
    Club ID: 5659
    Language: English
Members: 30/31 (lvl 110-430 at the moment)
Goal: getting the club bonuses to 10%, beating the club champions
Restrictions: none at all - new players are welcome, too

Expectations of the members: Not that many. Exchanging tips, chatting, being an active forum member, etc. is completely optional. Although I can be chatty from time to time, I'm quite reserved myself. You should just be willing to donate a few koban now and then as soon as you can spare some.
So if you don't take yourself or the game too seriously and if your priorities are "real life > having fun with the game > contributing to the club" you've maybe found the right place.

I'd be happy to gather decent guys and girls from all over the world in this humble club. All the more if there happen to be fans of 80s pop, old video games or furry art among them. Thankfully, none of this is mandatory.

  9. @Amenin

I've got a monthly card - but only gold. I guess I can rule out this possibility, too. But even if it was a platinum one, I don't think that this is the way the champion bonus works (the info box only says something about free multiple champion performances).

So, no club bonus and no monthly card bonus as far as I can tell. But thanks for the suggestions so far.

So if I use my strongest team while I am selecting and fighting opponents (Duh!) and then I change to my worst possible line-up for the next 10 hours while I build up "Kisses" again, then everyone who draws me as opponent has an easier time.

Someone else in this thread already had the same idea, if I'm not mistaken. Sorry, that I forgot who it was. And I do exactly the same thing since day 1 of Seasons. I even have some trash gear for this (including my level 5 'Lucky Kitten' from the beginning of the game ;)).

The only problem I see is for players in the Dicktator III brackets that don't want to give their opponents easy victories. That could be an ugly double-bind there. Then again - those are the players that will have a slightly easier time to accumulate mojo for the new contest.

For everyone else this is more of a PvD (players vs devs) contest instead of PvP. Since, you've already said it, you don't gain anything for being ahead of other players. To the contrary. You want to trail behind everybody else so you don't run into too many set ups with 3 unbeatable players. So this whole thing disguises as a PvP but in reality we're all better off if we help each other out. So let's get this trash gear out and choose level 1 haremettes for our teams before we go to sleep. It won't get us all to level 45 in half a month but it should have some statistical effects that will eventually materialize.

But still... even if I appreciate the changes they made, the whole contest feels ill thought-out. Maybe it would be better if they'd just make a PvE event out of it.Some kind of 'RPG light' would be neat. You could choose some of your girls for a typical RPG party and take them on a month-long quest that is a bit more sophisticated than the usual click-and-collect-stuff. With riddles and monsters and... okay, probably the wrong game for this. ;)

This is basically a scam to everybody that's not at least level 300.

I'm at level 351 and even did quite well in the leagues so far. With little effort and a minimum of boosters. And I don't see a way I can be successful in this rat race. Frankly, I don't see many players over level 400 who can. At least without spending a lot of resources. The players that are in the top 200 right now? It will get harder for most of them, too. There's a brick wall waiting for almost everyone if I'm not completely wrong about how this contest works**.

I guess that in the end the only ones that will have a decent outcome will be veteran players who already have almost every girl in their harem there is and who have amassed a lot of koban they don't know what to do with. Which would be contrary to Kinkoid's statement that implied that they wanted to close the gap between veterans and new players.

But I keep my fingers crossed, that they will tweak this thing in a way that the money of players like you isn't completely lost without any real service in return. I'm still trying to be in cheerful spirits here.  Glad, I didn't buy the season pass, though...

    EDIT:
**(this is still possible - there is a chance that it gets easier over time to find beatable opponents; then half of all this ruckus here would be meaningless and I'd feel like an idiot ;))

After using up most of my initial "kisses" (meuh) I thought I'd give it some time, let other people pull ahead and maybe get some easier fights a bit later on in the day.

Bwahaha - I tried the same approach. It worked quite well until I've been at ~1250 Mojo. Then I've ran into the same wall as most others did. ;)

Even if this will balance out slightly during the course of the next days or weeks, I don't think I'll reach more than level 15 or something. Which would leave me with 10500 XP, an avatar and 120 koban as the only worthwhile rewards. For a whole month. Indeed, this doesn't match the 'more and bigger rewards for the same gameplay'-claim at all.

I think I could spend ~5000 koban for boosters a month to remain competitive. And get a few more rewards. Problem is, I don't want to be competitive, PvP just isn't my thing (which is why I loved all the pseudo-PvP-stuff in this game which was very fluffy and stress-free until now). And even if I was - it is still probable that I couldn't get the girls. While spending a lot of koban that I have better uses for.

Nah, this whole thing was thought out by people who a) have severe dyscalculia and b) somehow forgot that a game should mainly be fun. Not work, not hassle, not a source of frustration.

While I still think that the basic idea of Seasons could be great, it is obvious that something went horribly wrong in the realization of it. I don't want to nag (not being very successful with this, sorry), I don't want to throw a stupid tantrum over something that isn't really important... but, really, I'd like to see this thing work out nonetheless. And this is the case when everyone is enjoying the game. Maybe putting a little effort here and there into it, having a happy little (almost-)everyone's-a-winner-contest with other players and enlarging our fantasy harems now and then. And of course supporting our (formerly ;)) beloved devs in all the ways we can.

I hope we can get back to this and Hentai Heroes isn't going to jump the shark now.

I'd also like to add that I don't see this new game mode as pay to win, quite the opposite. I cannot pay to win Seasons any faster. No amount of refreshes will give me the ability to defeat the three Level 400+ opponents the game will match me with every time.

Well... yes. Technically you're right. But it's hard to find an appropriate term for this §$#&%. It's neither pay to play nor pay to win.

Regardless of the correct terminology, I'm trying my best to find a more positive approach to all of this. There *is* the possibility that the paywall-girls will show up in the Mythic Pachinko sooner or later so anyone can get them without paying extra money. And to be fair: the game has been extremely generous with Mythic Orbs (and even Epic Orbs) since they were implemented. Even more so since Places of Power exists. So I don't really get the fuss over the one free daily orb that we lost along with the Arena.

If I could get the girls with Orbs, everything would be fine for me. I don't care much about PvP anyway. Admittedly, the game mechanics of 'Seasons' and all the balancing stuff would still be horrid. And frustrating. But my best guess is, the devs will change some of the ugliest characteristics of this abomination quite soon. So let's not get too agitated about any of this.

Can anyone else confirm what @jelom said on previous page? That using 10 kisses will make the tutorial finally disappear?

My tutorial disappeared after 3 fights, so I don't know if jelom's 10 fights were just a coincidence or if it is definitely over after a maximum of 10 fights.

  15. Oh, have we crossed the line into pay to win territory now? To be frank, this doesn't feel good at all and probably takes away at least a little bit of the innocent fun I usually get out of this game. I hoped I could purchase the season passes with koban - which would have been demanding enough while at the same time trying to save some koban for PoA-events and the PoP-upgrades.

Up until now I loved paying for my monthly card because I like the game and the hilarious storyline and all the little parodies and most of the art. A sincere thank you for the good time I've had. But being forced now to pay real money to 'finish' an event is just... eurgh. 'Seasons' basically looks like a nice idea to me but I think the way it was implemented could backfire. If - and this is absolutely possible - if I'm not just part of a very small and whiny and neglectable group of players who think about going back to F2P completely because of the direction this game is probably going. Not out of some childish defiance or because I don't like change but because something just doesn't feel right anymore.

And, yes, on top of this it still looks a bit buggy and I'm still not sure if I can reach level 45 with normal play. We'll see.

Anyhow, I hope I didn't sound too negative. Just wanted to give my first impression. Maybe I'll change my mind later on. But being able to pay with koban for the season pass (while still having the option to pay with real money e.g. via a special offer) would sure help with that. ;)

  16. I thought of this, too. But the income bonus of my club is 5% - not 100%. As long as the club bonus isn't calculated differently for the champion performances, this shouldn't be the solution here.

Of course there's still the chance that it has something to do with an error in the club bonus calculation.

  17. I don't really know if this is a bug or if I am just missing something. As the title says - I think I'm getting too much money for my champion performances. I just noticed that every amount I get for a champion fight is doubled, e.g. 708k instead of the displayed 354k.

This doesn't seem to affect other money sources like selling items or my harem income. So... am I just stupid and this is some kind of event bonus I'm unaware of or is this a real bug?

A few days ago ezevib posted an observation that might be related:

  18. O~kay. Problem solved... for now. Instead of the VISA Card from my bank I used an old Master Card from another bank and it worked. Maybe it had something to do with the security procedure. Instead of the usual code I had to generate via my bank account the process was fully automated this time.

Well, doesn't matter much. But since I want to cancel the account that the Master Card is linked to, it would be good if the (VISA- ?) problem is solved sooner or later.

In any case, I'll ask @Noacc if there is more info on this. You seem to be the only one reporting it so far on the forum.

Mmh... I still encounter the same problem as Viking93 with renewing my monthly card. In September, after the issue was 'fixed', I received the same error message like before. But after a few hours my monthly card was mysteriously renewed without me trying again. I guessed that this was just a little hiccup of the new payment process.

Today I'm still facing the same error and can only hope that the payment is just delayed again. If it isn't, I'm not really sure what to do about it. I tried switching off my adblocker and all the other usual little tricks - maybe except for updating my browser (Firefox 77 atm). But if Viking93 isn't coincidentally as update-lazy as I am, I'd doubt that the problem has something to do with this. Considering that there WAS an issue after switching banks that seemed to affect more than just a handful of players and that 'We are aware of the issue and we are working on it.' doesn't really sound like a problem on the players' side either.

Sure, that's not the end of the world. I can live without the monthly card or the bundles. But just out of curiosity I'd love to know what exactly the issue was and how it got solved for most players. Is this info available somewhere? ;)

(and, yes, I wrote a ticket)

I am fine with Natasha the way she is.... it's just a different style of drawing and that is okay by me.  Not all the girls have to have the same drawing style.  I was fine with the look of original Jeanne too.  The new style is good, however, she doesn't look like Jeanne anymore - she looks like a cosplayer playing Jeanne.  :D

    #2
And I was not just okay with the old art of Jeanne, she was one of my favourites! Until the unspeakable happened. ;)

Nah, I see why people like Jeanne's new art style more, what was 'wrong' with old style (well, it was certainly... cartoonier? is that a word?), and why probably a lot of players want a rework of Natasha. That's fine with me even though I'm not one of them.
But I would love to have a 'classic style'-button next to every haremette that was redrawn so I can switch to the art style that I like most. This shouldn't be much of a problem since you already have the option to select your favourite picture if you have unlocked more than one.

This easy solution would pacify silly guys like me who have grown fond of certain girls and don't wanna lose them (as you said - Jeanne doesn't look like Jeanne anymore, it's a completely different person now and I'm quite unhappy with this) as well as those who want a 'higher quality' art style or whatever. And even I have to agree there are some girls (very few) that desperately need to be redone because they just look ugly. In my opinion at least.

But... urgh... if every future rework looks more or less like the one example we have and I don't even get to switch to my preferred style, I'll probably leave the game. I'm just not interested in this... what should I call it... pseudo-realistic run-of-the-mill mainstream-y pornbabe-style. To say the least. I'm not saying the artist did a bad job - to the contrary! But imagine anime characters like Bunny or Ankyo would be redrawn like this. Or even worse - like Sara Jay.

So - yay for reworking a few girls, especially when many players aren't happy with them. But pleeeease let me choose and don't just shitcan the old art which I as a player may or may not like better. This is just unnecessary cruelty. ;)

You know what would make for a memorable Anniversary Event?

Any Boss can drop 1-12 shards for any Girl on the roster.

True, this would have been fun. I hope they'll consider something like that for a future event. :)

I still don't know what to think about this anniversary event. I'm playing HH for one year now, had a lot of fun with the story, with the girls, with all those little parodies, etc., etc. ... and I probably shouldn't be so frustrated that this will be the first event where I don't leave with at least one new girl for my harem. But it still feels strange.

Okay, there are worse things. Covid 19. Species extinction. Jeanne's new art style which makes her look like a soulless fuckdoll... ;)
(is there a website where I can still view her old pics by any chance? I really liked Jeanne until recently :()

Anyhow - I refuse to judge the whole anniversary event after just a few days. Although the drop rate/range IS horrendous so far and makes the whole thing look like a cash grab. But my F2P-experiences are quite limited, so this impression might just be due to my unrealistic expectations.
