  1. From the title alone, I thought this would be a petition to suggest that Mavin should be a girl you automatically get for completing the university stage, rather than one you have to win from Roko Sensei. And as unlikely as that is at this point... probably still would have been a better use of time.
  2. Um... I'm very, very confused by that statement. If Kinkoid are the only ones who know for sure how the drop rates work, how could we as players provide any proof of how they work? I would think it would be clear that anything we say about them is guesswork based on our own experiences, and as such, they could easily be completely false, or at least not apply to every individual's experience. It's not like anyone can guarantee a way to duplicate their exact results.
  3. Let me start off by saying this is not a brag. I'm in as much disbelief as some of you will be. I held off fighting bosses today so my meter would be close to full when the revival started. 1st Multibattle: Levitya drops. ... 2nd Multibattle: Norou drops. ... The event is basically over for me less than an hour in. I'm happy, sure, but stunned more than that. I know some people will be pissed. But I did say this event was a great idea. Yes, it could mean that everyone and their mother will now have two or more legendaries. But I'm willing to risk it. Though I admit PVP isn't all that important to me.
  4. 1) You had to know there was going to be a revival event at some point. Even if you didn't think the drop rates would improve, there was always at least a chance they might. 2) They did tell us up front that buying chances didn't translate into increased drop rates. Apparently only certain events do that. This being one of them, clearly.
  5. For me Roko Sensei was the clingiest by far. And I wasn't alone in that, as there were a couple of threads dedicated to comparing luck on that issue. He did eventually give up the girls, though, but it took months. But bear in mind that I was also participating in events fairly often. There is still one girl I haven't gotten from Donatien, but I haven't exactly been trying consistently, either.
  6. Windia has Black hair... and Salem, curiously, has Dark. So that's the reverse of what the OP said... but I think those are the only cases.
  7. I'm curious where you would get that idea. Once you have a 5 star legendary girl at max affection, there should be no other girl that compares. But getting them to that point takes a good long while and isn't cheap. Sure, there are some legendaries that don't stack up... but they aren't 5 stars. The three 5 star legendaries will be part of the upcoming event, so it would be a good idea not to miss out on them. At the very least, I'd try to get whatever legendary girl shares your class specialty.
  8. First time I've gotten a girl from Epic Pachinko that is part of a current event. Wasn't trying for one specifically, was just curious who I'd get (I did NOT realize Tanned Zoe was legendary, until her Market window insisted on staying purple, no matter how much I rubbed my monitor). Even better, three of those legendary items I drew were good enough to replace my current gear. Though, the fact that I got a 3-star legendary girl when I wasn't trying, doesn't leave me optimistic about my luck during the upcoming revival. Yet, going from no legendary girls to two (one of them a 5-star in my class) in a couple of months isn't too shabby.
  9. To anyone who feels cheated that they paid kobans and got no girl? If that's your experience, I have a suggestion: don't pay kobans for drop chances anymore. No, really. I'm a free player, always have been, and I've managed to build a harem 93 girls strong. True, I had a bit more time on my hands than some people would, but the point is I didn't pay for more stamina. Do I miss out on some girls? Of course. But clearly, so do people who pay for the chances. So I think I end up feeling far less cheated. Some patience is required, though. But, to Sinner's point: yes, if you need to see the pictures that badly, just check the wiki. Far less expensive.
  10. You make some valid points. And I will admit, one of the things that drew me to this game early on, was that the drop rates DID seem rather high at first. Aaaand then they got much, much, much lower. Which I wasn't crazy about. But so long as ten spins on Epic Pachinko guaranteed a girl, and they attached a girl to daily missions every so often, I could live with low drop rates (though I admittedly would whine from time to time, and hey, there was always a thread to do so, so I never had to start one). But my bigger issues were more about other things, most of which actually have been addressed by recent updates. So drop rates aside, I am enjoying the game much more. Still, I do still remember a time when drop rates seemed higher, so maybe I'm a bit spoiled, and wasn't pleased when that changed. However, considering the mods have the power to shut down any thread that gets too... rowdy, when that didn't happen in many of the threads where people were very vocal about complaining, I took that to mean that they wanted to hear what we had to say, even if it was negative. Which I applaud, because there has been some serious naysaying, so thick skin must be required for those jobs. So yeah, if I don't say it enough, I do like the game, and the people behind it. Wouldn't still be around if I didn't.
  11. The point isn't for you to get all three girls, it's for you to have a CHANCE at all three. You almost certainly won't get all three. There were over ten girls available for me during the anniversary event, theoretically all of their drops rates should have been higher than a legendary. I got two, one of which was a boss girl not included in the ten available. The revival events are likely never going to be as optimal as, or better than, the original event was. But that isn't the point. The point is to give you a chance at hard to get girls. You may get really lucky, but you probably won't. And considering there's no chance at all at these girls without a revival event? I'd say that's plenty fair, particularly if you're new. I can think of many games where new people have no shot at all at getting the most powerful units, by design. In this game, about the worst issue most people have during legendary events is not getting the girl, and being broke afterward... because they used to assign the legendary girl to the weakest boss just so new people had a shot. To me, that's more than enough catering to new people, since even if they do get the girl, they'll quickly find out why you can only afford to upgrade them by fighting bosses at the other end of the spectrum.
  12. As a free player who never adds stamina, and has missed out on a couple of girls despite trying for them, I will never be upset at the arrival of a revival event. I could see why some people would be, but I'd much rather have too many chances at rarer girls than too few, since supposedly adding stamina doesn't increase your chances, and it's all based on luck. I'd rather have more chances to be lucky. And since I won't pay for them, this is the only way. Revivals are obviously targeting people who missed out on the girls, so I wouldn't expect people who got the girls the first time to look forward to them. I don't know, is there an event where you get rewarded for having more girls?
  13. Can't brag because I didn't win, but I guess it's good this made me figure out how to look up my ID number, for future reference.
  14. I, also, saw the carrot in the midst of a battle for the first time today. Weird.
  15. Well, it's still pretty early in the event, hopefully both our luck will change.
  16. I think very much mixed results like these are the reason I would prefer to see some sort of visual tool indicating how close to a drop a player is. Even if it was only available for events, and even if it only worked for one girl during the event, and even if participating only guaranteed a single drop whether it was event-related or not... that would still be better than what is in place. Which is no guarantee at all. I know some people tend to think that awards you get solely for participating aren't real awards, but on the flip side, if you participate and get nothing at all... it's almost like you didn't participate, or there was no event for you at all. Which is a pretty weird feeling to have about an event that was apparently much improved from a year previous.
  17. Given the sheer number of girls available on the bosses, I was hoping the drop rate would have improved somewhat. But I don't consider one event girl and one normal boss drop girl to be improved. Slightly below average, since two event girls is average for me, or used to be. And really, when the takeaway from an event is that at least I'm not broke... while that in itself is good, that being the high point of the event generally means the event itself was lacking something. I'd hate to think one event girl per event is my new average, but recent evidence supports it...
  18. Huh. Well, this doesn't really count, but I got my second girl during the event... except she's a normal boss drop girl. I've pulled off multiple drops in a day before, but not often, and never within the last day of an event if I'm right. So I won't get my hopes up, but at least I'm not broke. And that's even with doing some upgrading during the event, so I guess I'm coming out ahead on this one.
  19. To be completely honest, I cannot recall the last time I played a single game of Epic Pachinko, if I ever have. Once I knew a girl drop was only guaranteed with ten-spins, I just got in the habit of saving kobans for them. That didn't change even when the price was raised. If I'm going to spend that many kobans, I want to be sure I'm getting a girl. So while I very much appreciate this project, I can't really say it taught me anything I didn't already suspect. In fact, and I know this won't be a popular opinion, frankly I'm impressed you walked away with six girls, as opposed to the ten you would have been guaranteed for ten ten-spins. At least it's much better than I would have thought you could do. So you've actually boosted my optimism... just not enough to do this myself.
  20. Hmm. I already got one event girl to drop from a boss fight. If I can get another before the event ends, that'll be enough for me. And I must say I love that they're available on all bosses. This might end up being the only event where I'm in no danger of being broke at the end, which would automatically make it my favorite event, so please make sure it's a selectable option for Favorite Event in the next survey, devs. The only thing I could really whine about is not being able to "aim" for a specific girl or girl type, you just get whoever drops at the time. But that's just me being picky, it's not actually a complaint, more wishful thinking than anything else.
  21. There really shouldn't be an answer to that, the drop rate should be the same across the board, since the possible girl drops are the same across the board... right?
  22. By that logic, only about 6 common/starter girls would need to be 5 stars. We're well past that point now. About the only way to not have a full team of common 5 stars in the class of your choice is if you don't play at all. What's far more noticeable is that Epic rarity has no 5 stars at all, and Rare only one. Speaking for me personally, I don't need a greater choice in 5 star common or starter girls. If you do, it's likely because you know there aren't many (or any) 5 stars in Rare and Epic class.
  23. So, um... I notice most of the five star girls are starters or common. Why is that? I'm pretty sure there are no five star epic girls at all. Yes, I know the affection raising costs would be considerable, and updates are being made consistently. I just wonder, because with yet another starter getting the five star treatment, it doesn't seem like a priority to get the epic girls, or even the rare girls, up to speed. Which is no doubt why the most common team setup I see is one legendary and two five star starters.
  24. Judging by how long it took for this to happen, I am not hopeful about getting the second girl (on the plus side, got Lupa from epic pachinko minutes later, so you could say I got two girls during the event, anyway). Which is okay, I'm not terribly excited about this event. But, and I don't know if this was the plan all along, the frequent battle pauses/errors have gotten on my nerves to the point where I actually don't mind devoting about a third of my daily kobans to multibattles. Anyway. I think I will pass on hunting the second girl, and focus on smacking Roko for money to pay my greedy twin maids. If they weren't so cute and legendary I might be mad.
  25. On the plus side, it's good to see some progress in the Tower of Fame. Not that I think it will impact me very much, judging by my current rankings...
