  2. The boosters sound strategic and fun to me, you can pick the ones you need on purpose. Better than sheer score boosting. The only issue... as you cannot sum up the bonuses, why the shop should sell more copies of a single item? It sound like wasted spaces. Mine sorted 4 Angel Perfumes, I will not probably use more than one in the 6h timeframe before a refresh. So 3 slots wasted.

  7. Ok, understood, it sound good to me too. I dunno anyway if that refresh is made to update the whole PoP variables status. So the "get reward" button also update the entire thing (is virtually possible to collect the reward, get out that same screen, and return... what screen you'll be back? What variables will be updated?). An easier QOL can be to add a "collect all" button, too. You'll spare a lot of unnecessary reloads too.
  8. The same difficulty, as I said, is shared amongst all club members and all clubs, nothing was stripped from you against other players in the game. The result is just you have to spend more tickets as we have to do, or slow down. That's a design choice, not a bug.

  10. Yeah, half the discussions are about lamenting that now you cannot play the way you were used for, for a declaratively scaling upgrade. That's what I'm reading. And that's doesn't even deserve a reply. Probably prissy lamenting. If you don't like the company conduit, why you're paying it? It look that someone is purchasing bridges everyday.
  11. @ShadowWeaver : I'm experiencing the same stuff, plus a couple more. For example, some browser have difficulty to render the blessing frames (if they get rendered at all!), and the battle itself suffer the lag of loading and animating/tweening 14 girls. Those are trivial bugs they can be easily optimized once the full system is delivered (the hovering speed should be adjusted right now, anyway... that's a bad implementation of a default feature, just a matter of changing a SINGLE NUMBER in a function...). I'm fearing that following people sudden reactions they will not deliver the full thing that, by my inspection, is uncanny better than the previous one. The partial one they gave is evidently too easy and offer the flank to some issue (Commons better than maxed out Legendary 3? So why I've spent resources on them?).

Did someone even tried to read the blog post link? YEAH, THE SELECTOR (amongst a lot of other stuff) IS THE NEXT THING TO COME. The system will be a total rewrite, so forget what you know. No more HC, KH or CH, but two ranges of 3 and 6 elements you can (on purpose) spoil for some advantage... or not, at will. Go read the last part of that blog post link. @MDuss : yeah and the all mythical player can throw them in the sewers the moment all of your Legendary 5 got the week blessing... if not some get a double blessing.

  16. P E R F E C T! They did what I guessed they can't! So to me this got a fully approved seal! Really exciting! What I've noticed: The player history on the game will matter a lot. The first girls you'll earn will contribute more to skill activation. You can play to maximize the first set of elements or the second (later can try for both). The full harem count on actual performance. That's really good. You have to invest resources to activate those sinergy bonuses. And as probably you don't have all of them, every player will have a different grow path leading to different strategies. The system is easier, as you don't have to compute a lot. Just put in the higher scores for an element, check once a week who match the blessing. As the relevant things are ego and attacks, you have just two numbers to compute. It should be a matter of seconds to check the higher scores for that element and put them in. A girl can be good for scores or by the skills you trigger and boost! That's another factor to consider, but not hard to grasp. You also invest on a girl skill, so you can boost a girl to become better than the simple scores. Nice! You're not forced (at my own level, even less for newbies) to refactor the party at once, probably you'll add girl by girl as the game move onward. Whales probably have some problems, but GFU, it's not YOUR game as much is MINE. You can do up to 6 decks, one by element. That's mean you always have a deck to counter the opponents, while probably you'll be stronger in a couple of elements alone. The Citadel is another way to stay with the game without that stressing PvP. I'll suggest Kinkoid to have a Citadel Pass one can purchase for bigger bonuses (probably I'll buy it as I do with Season pass). I don't like the shared competition of Leagues, I want to play the game my own pace. If they can really implement all of this, the game will become way more better and more enjoyable. EDIT: I've noticed another game changer. You can do themed decks! For example, go hunt for all girls that own "blonde" skill for a great mutual bonus. A Legendary 3 deck this way can compete with a sheer Legendary 5... not speaking the week blondes get a blessing you got a steamroller! This pair with other concepts. A "regen" deck can sustain more damages, ending the duel on a stale, so it can compete on an higher tier. A "killer" deck can be based on critical chances to end the battle quickly. This work a lot as Pokemon decks (Haymaker, Flood, Nega) and counterdecks (Lass, Lazy). The metagame will be exciting and hunting for the girl that complete a deck will be fun. Not speaking the share of builds and countermeasures between users... Good good good. PLEASE DO IT!

THE BIG QUESTION The refund policy explictly call about the credits, there's no mention of anything else. So I suppose each bundle is nothing but a conversion of an amount of credits into kobans, and such kobans into stuff ("prepayed"). So, for example, the orbs you purchase have an equivalent into kobans with the formula "orbs from kobans, kobans from credits". If I'm reading right, you cannot ask for a refund in any circumstance, as Credits are immediately translated into something the moment you complete the transaction, and so "used". Having no credit left (they are all immediately spent to change them into kobans or items by kobans) you cannot ask the refund. This also sound logic: if I purchase 100 kobans and after 10 days I'll ask a refund, how they does know that such kobans belong to the "object of that refund request"? They deplete 100 random kobans? They can't. I'm reading right?
  18. Gotcha. Is not the combat system to be broken. Is how a gacha game clash with an hotseat League. I can devise the best combat system ever, it will clash with the League logic anyway. If they change the League in such a way it actually represent the player efforts and not a frag ranking, not only this system will be better, but even advisable. This is easier than adding skills to 800+ girls and have a resulting fine math. There are two factors clashing, they have to change both to have them match.
  19. I've thought a lot about the issue of direct player intervention and time cost, and your interpretation is right. That would be a big change in the game interactions. There are a number of successfull casuals that give you many choices each round: pick the attacker/pick the move/boost/use special skills. For such reason I've reduced the thing to just "pick the attacker" and is a single variable equation, the easier one. To me sound the only way to add some player (brain) interference on the mechanic resolution. If I'm correct, one of the most common lamenting is how the strenght of a player is tied just to game permanence instead of actual "skill". While this system isn't total subvertion of the logic, it allow you to fine tune some important battle - without going crazy for low level ones. There will be circumstances were losing a single attack can be proficient to win more later. Direct comparisons of strenght cannot evaluate long terms benefits. I don't know any other way to introduce an human factor if not an evaluation of later benefits. Anyway, autobattles should be there. That create the need for the robot be less randomized. You've come with a very smart idea: selecting "behaviours" shouldn't be so hard, as the engine randomly sort a defender and should be able to pick an opponent on criteria. Maximize atk/self preservation/high level first... those are routines well documented as they appear in early JRPG (Megadrive Phantasy Star II is one, DQ3 is another... we speak of sorting routines of 1990, they should be easy to implement). It can be potentially done.
  20. The "deck" is limited to 30 entries, in a way the RNG cannot draw on the entire harem, but only the selected 30 girls. Anyway, once the 7 girls are sorted, each one can attack just once for that battle and you cannot pick her anymore *for that battle* - lawman terms to say "you can attack with a girl just once by battle" (but she can be used for an indefinite number of battles XD). That perfectly fit your idea of Harmony Hit, having a girl exceptionally be ready to attack more than once for the battle (a girl "untap" and can attack again).

  22. These are the rules. Do you find them interesting? The design goals are: Keep the math straight A reasonable difficulty on coding - reuse of existing functions Use most of the existing variables and assets Have a casual but vertically depth gameplay Allow for autobattles Those investing time/money must have a reasonable chance of domination The need for devs to incite purchases and have an income! due those limits, this is the outcome. RULES You must mark up to 30 girls as your "harem deck". If less than/equal 30, you must mark them all (30 is a reasonable number to avoid for tapping to *1 girls after a while, but require players to invest in the game). At the start of the battle, 7 random girls are picked from your harem deck. You have draft options similar(not equal) the Champion fight. Click the button to reshuffle a number of times, pay kobans for extra daily drafts. You cannot "fix" girls (draft = total mulligan) The battle last 7 rounds At the start of the round, one defender girl is randomly sorted out from those left. You pick an attacker girl from those left. The picked attacker is the one dealing damage and receiving from the defender. The damage is equal the score your girl own on the defender class (so a KH 100, CH 50 and HC 200 deal 50 damages on an charme defender). An overall bonus by player stats, equip and boosters is added. A small bonus on player class is added for matching class girls. The defender damage is then dealed and computed the same way (the attacker class determine the score to use). Both attacker and defender for the round are "tapped" and cannot join the battle anymore. The player dealing more damage after 7 rounds is the winner (HP stats is gone). The battle can end before the 7 rounds if a party is shorter than 7 elements. In automode, the pairs attacker/defender are sorted randomly. This is the basic set of rules. EXTRAS Extras are rules added to indepth the mechanic vertically. Is virtually possible to add whatever, complicating the engine at will, but due the design restriction and the code costs they should not add any "dirt" (unnecessary feature). They aren't mandatory to use the previous rules, that work independently. 1: Position wheel To match the Champion wheel, the same wheel is there in PvP. If a girl match the position, she double her scores. You don't know the sequence in advance (more reactive gameplay). This way you'll introduce a strategy layer, but the automode battle will be way more random. [To add more on feedbacks]
  23. I did a try on a total new account. On a newbie perspective, this system mean the player will stay for longer at the early stages, and the more a customer stay around the better. He also have to invest more on items. You start with 3 starters. The only way to get girls is to defeat Dark Lord, dropping those 1* girls. Once you filled up, probably you can drop some legendary, and you have to invest more. I suppose 2/4 months to enter an average level of three to four 5* legendary (not maxed out....). The more girls you have to care, the better for the game economy. Practically, I didn't perceived any relevant difference, if not now I can FINALLY put on use four more 5* Legendary that were rusting aside. And the game was already just flexing muscles with high level girls, classes being just "design dirt" - sometime you cannot simply fix up stuff, you have to step back. Is a good move, as the easy math can be expanded, while classes/positions was a waste and locking the game math on a loop. As for "potential", probably a language issue. It does mean that by time, POTENTIALLY (so, "maybe") they plan to add individual skills by girls, not related to classes or anything experienced so far. Something like pokemon passive skills or Magic the Gathering abilities, without touching the easy ATK vs DEF system. Maybe some girl will drop more, some deal more damage on condition... you can create a farming party or a brute force party for example on circumstance. "add+10 attack for each charm girl in the party"or "give you +1 Mojo point on Season battles", "double damage on higher tier girls" are different passive skills you can use on different situations. The meta game will become more interesting. An epic girl with "Legendaries deal 1/3 damages" will be precious as much the best Mythic! Anyway, I think that will not happen. This is a casual game, not an online RPG, and everything lead to simplification. We're here for the naked girls, and that what's people want to see easily and often. The "gameplay" must be casual, easy, streamlined and, why not, silly to the point every "not gamer" can play. Also, the more the variables, the more bug you'll introduce and creating skills is a bug actractor. So... to me, sound as a positive design choice to make a long tail of newbies spend more time and resources on the game. Boost ATK the more, boost more girls at once, hunt for more legendaries, without skipping an event 'cause of another class, and avoid pretending this game have any strategic side: it didn't since the start!
