  1. You're lucky. Takes me at least 6 seconds in best scenarios to load the Harem page (up to 15 secs in a much smaller Comix Harem for some unexplainable reasons), then 4 more seconds to open the upgrade page. 10 seconds in total and then it's 12 seconds (even longer) to switch to a different girl. That's, of course, assuming they are going one after another and you don't need to scroll the Harem page to find the next one you need (Oh, and did I mention that any scrolling can unpredictably launch you a few dozens or even hundreds positions away in the Harem page? The meme partial loading...). If you have to deal with batch upgrades, you're gonna spend minutes just waiting. Minutes of waiting and dozens of clicks for... what? How is that a good thing? You are lucky indeed. Nope, I didn't forget it. Could scroll a hundred in just about ~10 secs with the laptop touchpad. Never was a problem for me. First of all, how is "Max out" button justifying the other changes made? You've read my post in the other thread, you know how I see it: a cherry in a pile of shit. Can we just get one small cherry without the shit all over it? And second of all, it was never a problem to do a few clicks on purple/red items. If you have a thousand something girls in your harem, you most likely already know how much of different items you need to just blindly maximize it all without sacrificing more than 25 affection/level points overcapping, for which you probably don't even care anymore. I see you too fail to understand that Harem filters are completely irrelevant here. It's a separate thing that could've been used with the old Market. The second option I described is the same scheme you're doing now, but with the old Market. It seems so. Because I only encountered the "forbidden" error when I was upgrading a few grades in short amount of time, and never in the Market. Just need about five seconds between the upgrades — enough to look at the picture. Seems like we got our luck in different spheres. But that's not the scheme I described. I would give the gifts, then press the mouse wheel to open the upgrade page in a different tab. Similar to this highlighted option: Open up N tabs for N girls I need to upgrade at the time, upgrade them one by one, then reload the Market (or rather come back to the first tab with upgraded girl with Harem finally loaded in, click '+' and then do the same in reverse order — this way is more reliable). The waiting time in my case correlates with the number of upgrades I need (0-5), which is more or less mitigated by the number of girls I am upgrading in parallel (so I don't have to wait for the Harem page to load). The waiting time in your case correlates with the number of girls you want to upgrade (0-N). So unless you are upgrading only one or two at a time, you get much more waiting time now than before. Since you're playing for years, you probably leave enough girls without upgrades to go through them by the end of the month. Which only leads me to a conclusion that you, poor soul, was upgrading them consequently one-by-one before... ———————————————————————————————— @Antimon, what I'm saying is that implementation of Harem filters is a completely separate thing that can't be used to justify the changes made to the Market. This thing is entirely outweighed by the new upgrade system.
  2. You fail to understand that we are discussing the Market changes, not the Harem. Those are different things. And these filters could've been easily coded, tested and implemented in a single day. It's literally just a single SQL query, nothing fancy. *Go to Harem* —> *Wait till tomorrow* —> *Scroll/Change filters/Whatever* —> *Choose the girl* —> *Click '+'* —> *Give books* —> *Curse the devs for the gems* —> *Click 'X'* —> *Wait once again till the next morning* —> *Choose another girl* —> *Repeat* I fail to see how that is simpler than just: *Go to Market* —> *Click on the book tab* —> *Scroll right or left without waiting till tomorrow* —> *Give books* —> *Curse the devs for the gems* —> *Click left/right* —> *Repeat* Or, if you want, you could: *Go to Harem* —> *Wait till tomorrow* —> *Scroll/Change filters/Whatever* —> *Choose the girl* —> *Click '+'* —> *Give books* —> *Curse the devs for the gems* —> *Click left/right* —> *Repeat* Both ways are valid, and both of them are easier than what we have now. Or the same for the affection levels: *Go to Harem* —> *Wait till tomorrow* —> *Scroll/Change filters/Whatever* —> *Choose the girl* —> *Click '+'* —> *Give gifts* —> *Upgrade* —> *Repeat N times* —> *Click 'X'* —> *Wait once again till the next morning* —> *Choose another girl* —> *Repeat* Instead of: *Go to Market* —> *Click on the gift tab* —> *Scroll right or left without waiting till tomorrow* —> *Give gifts* —> *Click mouse wheel* —> *Click left/right* —> *Repeat for the number of girls you need* —> *Ctrl+PgDn through the browser tabs* —> *Upgrade each* —> *Reload the Market page* —> *Repeat till you're done* Yes, the latter scheme wasn't perfect, but it was 10x times faster than what you are suggesting. Not even mentioning the separation of "Buying/Using" and these godawful 5-column tabs. I hope you're not a Kinkoid dev in disguise just trolling us again.
  3. Just rename it to ClickerHeroes now and be done with it.
  4. I haven't spoken before, nor do I hope to speak again. But this recent update was the last drop. Kinkoid, your new Market design is a goddamn abomination. An absolute worst UI/UX decision I have ever witnessed in my entire life, in any app or web site. It can be used as a guide to "How NOT To Design Your Shit". It's so terrible that I already don't want to use it anymore. But more than that, I am really surprised by the reaction of the people here on forum. I get it when Mods are praising the new changes — what else could they do? But you, guys... You have just been given a pile of shit with a small cherry on top and everyone decided to single out that cherry, completely ignoring the fact that nothing else matters as long as it's covered with dogshit all over. You praise the "Buy All" button, really? "Ninth slot"? For real? ———————————————————————————————— Okay, let's go over the details. First of all, there was no need to separate buying from using the items. Why not go further and separate buying from selling? Because that's what we all want, right? A hundred different tabs with slightly different purposes. And we can't even see which item is going to be replaced by the new one we found on the buying page. Oh, and take a look at these menus: one takes 20% of the screen, the other is barely noticeable, small and without any visual hints. I bet most of the players didn't even notice the tabs in the top row at first (which is, by the way, only accessible from the "My Hero" frame): Not only we have to go to Harem in order to upgrade/level up, we can't even do it in batches. Even upgrading the girls wasn't much of a struggle before, because you could just open each of them in a new tab by a single press of the mouse wheel under the avatar. Now you can't even scroll between the girls, you have to go back to the main Harem page every time you're done with upgrading. So I guess 99% of the players (and 100% of the devs) only have 10-15 girls in their harem to justify that? Or was all of that just to make these "Spend 90 millions" tasks ever harder? If I want to struggle with tedious tasks, I just go to work — at least that one pays in return. Tedious, tedious, tedious. Looks like that is the core principle of their development strategy. To make players suffer with simple, basic stuff. Almost every change or a new feature introduces more of the annoying grinding. Annoyance, frustration, irritation, exhaustion, sometimes even anger — everything, but joy. Not a single bright thing in this unstoppable stream of updates. But we are wandering off, let's get back to details. You know how everything is stacked in groups of four, right? Books and gifts, it's all in "fours": four grey types, four of green ones, four of yellow and so on. And it was displayed in groups of four. Even in Daily Goals or various events selling was in "fours" — we had a very useful visible cue in Markets for that. But what do we have now? Three columns in the store and five in the Harem page, where you can actually use said items. That is plain trolling from Kinkoid. Because it looks so convenient, right? Just look at this perfection, what could be better? It looks like these old websites from the '00s displayed on the small screens of the old JAVA phones with physical buttons. Or on the earliest smartphones. Long before adapting to mobile screens was even considered by the web developers. Our memory was positional. We didn't need to look for exact items, because we always knew that second green gift from the left is "+60 Aff" and first yellow from the right could be safely rounded up to "+500 Aff". What do we have now? Two different unfitting tables with three and five columns each. That is devs' trolling, if I ever seen one. Not even speaking about the vast unused space in the said upgrade page. Furthermore, we now have these gigantic icons with a tiny border around the one in focus. Not only that, it also has the same color hue as the yellow items. Can you at the first glance tell which item is highlighted on this screenshot? Thought so. And don't even get me started on their inability to adapt different browsers, even if they are based on Chromium (renders at least one event unfinishable in my browser). ———————————————————————————————— People saying things like "Well, maybe that was inevitable with all the legacy code they have" don't understand how Web development works; don't understand that back-end can be worked on independently, and there was absolutely no need to change the UI so drastically. Before you start busting out on me, I've been here for almost five years, for the most of this project lifetime. And yes, it was better before. At the very least it was USABLE. Some tedious things here and there could've been fixed with scripts, but overall it was an OK experience. And now it's just "Oh my God, do I have to do this again?..". I have been silent before. I have been silent when they started doing more changes in order to make people pay more money. I have been silent when they first removed seconds in the main page Collect timer (understandable), then removed said timers entirely. Just to make people click the yellow "Collect all" button more frequently, even if there's just another ten minutes before the new 500k income becomes ready to collect. To make people click on that button again, waste away their Kobans even more and then eventually seeing a need to pay the real money for that. Because no one in their right mind would load Harem with hundreds and hundreds of girls and see how many of these rewards are gonna be ready to collect soon. I have been silent when they introduced Mythic girls — you can get one shard for a hundred of tries and there's no guarantee that you will get any more in the next hundred. Even if you do 50 batches at the start of the new shards drop. Because being money grabbers is not even frowned upon in our modern society. But this was the last drop. You started this "Let's make the ugliest design" challenge a while ago and I don't suppose it will stop here. Doesn't need to — it's already unusable and completely devoid of joy and entertainment. All right, I'm done, where's my *facepalm* emoji?
  5. Others already mentioned some general disadvantages of the changes in the system and of the whole system itself, so I don't have to go through it again. But there was something, that wasn't mentioned or was mentioned briefly. You want us to spend kobans in these leagues in order to get in the first place. But what for? I'm currently second in my league. The guy on the first place refilled at least once, as I saw. So he spent 108 kobans to win what? 120 kobans? Really? To get 12 kobans? And that is assuming he didn't refill more than for one time — otherwise he will only lose kobans in the end. I on my second place will get 48 kobans — and that is more than 12. So, why the hell even do that? Just to be an asshole? Just to let no one get in the first place? And now it will be more pointless, as p2w players (a.k.a. assholes) will spend more kobans and the reward will stay low. Let's just do some quick math. Refill time: 5 hours. Sleep time: 9 hours (let's be realistic, you don't live in this game, do you?). So it's 4 hours loss every day. At best (assuming that you actually do live here and don't have to go to work/study/etc — those who do will be lucky to be in the first 15 players at all). So it's 20 * 7 * 2 = 280 fair fights in the season. It will be enough to challenge 280 / 3 = 93 opponents. And there will be at least 26 left. It's 26 * 3 = 78 fight. And it will cost 78 * 30 * 0.48 = 1123 kobans. Are you serious? 1123 kobans? It will only be worth it if you get in the first place in highest tire (reward: 1920). Well, good luck being that 1 of 120 with 1 out of 120 chance — and that, of course, if you already made it to the first tire. So, you want us to spend kobans with almost no reward for it? And these calculations were only for optimal case. If you'll get in largest brakets with 240 players in them, you can easily add 5184 more kobans to that. Oh, and what's with that money reward? Isn't it small comparing to a total daily income? I usually make about 1-2M a day. The only reward compared to this — yeah, you're right, in the first place of the highest tire. And why should I tear my ass off to get hardly an equivalent to what I will get with almost no effort? (exp) And that unique combativity reward in that notorious highest tire? I mean, you seriously think that 20 more battles is all we can wish for 1123 kobans? If you made it to the last world (and you probably won't get in the highest tire if you didn't) you will only get 20 * 29.5k = 590k. In addition to 9.92M, right. What? What again? Oh, you can get 20 more chances to win an event girl? Well, considering the ultimately small drop rates... good luck with that. If I really were into that, I would just buy these 20 fights for kobans. So I'm not sure what do you actually get from this Brand New Feature. As long as it goes like that or p2w at least. And I'm not even talking about the beginners who will not get the same amount of exp from the leagues. But that's a different story...
  6. @casey, after fucking playing for so long, it's normal to be down. Down on my bed. And then I can either drink Red Bull, as you proposed, or rest for 9h and not be on top again...
  7. So it's still only five hours for full recharge? I tend to sleep more than for five hours, guys.
