So im not alone. the new art for affection scene are really bad. I like the portraits of the new girls but all there affection have gotten worse.
I think the artist moved to HentaiClicker instead? it looks like the HH style but improved.

Yeah... I don't even bother to get new girls. Out of all newly introduced girls only Layla looks fine. Circus girls are a "not very homurous" joke. I don't know why does their artistic level dwindled so much, because judging by the quality of the drawings in the new world: Digisekai they can still draw really good.

I concur completely. The new artstyle is HORRIBLE.

Kinkoid should stop messing around and bring the old one back.

Hah! Are you suggesting to confine that artist? He reduced his work hours for Kinkoid. Nothing Kinkoid can do about that. It's not a slave business, where tge employee has no human rights.

Human rights? What is that?

Jokes aside - I had no idea. I thought they swapped him to Hentai Clicker.

Lol. But also, you know, there are many great artists out there, including plenty of great artists whose style would be a better fit for this game's identity than the terrible ones they've been working with lately. So, yeah, your joke is funny, but no, you don't have a point. Kinkoid absolutely can and should hire artists who are capable of providing good work and maintain the game's visual identity and quality. That's not a huge pipe dream or an unreasonable demand, it's a basic requirement of their job.

Seriously? It's not about the joke. If it's that easy to find good artists for a standalone "porn"-game, don't you think they would've already found them? They go to the special conferences for these type of games. They have had a vacancy for drawers and inkers for over two years now. So no, I DO have a point. Sorry to disappoint you.

I honestly find this hard to believe. If they've really been trying but failing to find good artists for this long, they're either looking in the wrong places, the pay they offer is too low for the market, or maybe there's something else they're not being flexible enough with (say, if they're only interested in hiring someone if they're willing to relocate to Sofia for a permanent in-house position).

There are seriously dozens upon dozens of semi-amateur to pro independent artists on sites like DeviantArt or HentaiFoundry that would be more than suitable for the job. Many of them are open to freelance work for pretty cheap, even just for a fan who'd want to commission a piece. The artwork is an integral part of this game's appeal, and thus of its business model. They should be able to afford at the very least a solid roster of freelance artists to fill in while they keep for the best permanent replacements for their in-house team.

Anyways, that's just my opinion. There are probably other factors at play that I can't know about, and you likely have more info from interacting with them on Discord. In any case, sorry if my previous post (or this one) sounded a bit harsh. I'm in a bad mood today, that's all.

Being open to doing individual freelance commissions with mostly open ended deadlines is not the same quantity of output that is required for a game like this.

And look how bad the complaints were about one art style change (yes it's also a bad one, but yeesh there's a lot of criticism of the style itself too). It's likely that if they used too large a roster there would also be frequent complaints about the art style being inconsistent across certain events.

That's fair. But still, however I look at it, I can't wrap my head around the idea of a successful game like this one struggling to find suitable artists (on a freelance basis and/or as permanent employees) when there are hundreds of talented artists out there, including in the same genre, who are either struggling to break through as professionals, or resigned to do it as a hobby that pays a little here and there.

Obviously they are unaware of places like pixiv, deviantart and instagram. Tons of ppl with decent skill that would have done the job fine.
