indeed777 Posted February 12, 2021 Share Posted February 12, 2021 Look, I'm sure you're all lovely people. But this is a porn game. I don't want to chat with you guys while I'm playing it. I don't want to work with you to achieve a common goal. I don't want to participate in group activities so I can min-max and maybe one day be competitive in D3, the biggest source of broken rewards in this game. I just want to do some battles, get some girls, and unlock their level up scenes in peace, occasionally logging onto the forums to complain about some development that I find annoying. Gating girls behind club activities is the opposite of that. As I see it, it goes against the initial promise of clubs which said that making sure club events and competitions would be "totally optional". I suppose it's optional in the sense that you can continue the overall story just fine by skipping it, but choosing to completely ignore a source of new girls seems to be against the spirit of a game that's tag line is "Gotta catch 'em all". I realize that I don't speak for everyone and clearly some people enjoy having active, chatty clubs, and look forward to club battle systems. That's okay, by all means, go ahead and create it. Have the rewards be unique avatars, items, or backgrounds. Maybe invent a spot in the player profile where you can show off club achievements. jelom Posted February 12, 2021 Share Posted February 12, 2021 You can still play solo without interacting with your club mates and still get the club champion girl. Just do at least one battle every time you see the champion is being attacked and then get your shards after he is defeated by the rest of the club. It's also not impossible like Jelom said that the girls will later become available through other means. And you can of course join a club and just pretend everyone there is a bot/AI and you're just there to get the girls, ignore the chat and that's that. Totally understand you're not playing this game to make new friends. CR0 Posted February 12, 2021 Share Posted February 12, 2021 My thoughts: Clubs already give enormous advantage to several people. I used to be in a fully maxed club, donated kobans, ect.. But they kicked me because my level is 'low'. This update is content for that 1% imo. Other clubs have 5 active players/day or have more but they attack just a few times. PoPs give a lot of tickets just doing them 3 times a day, probably near or over 50 per day if you have some of the "Erogenous brains" or "No social distances". That said it is true champion need way more than 10 people, preferably over 20 to be beaten, and not all clubs have that number of active players willing to spend tickets and the time to use them every day.
