I've seen stat cap mentioned a few times here. Can anyone tell me what this is about? What is the cap?

you can buy a certain amount of upgrade points for your stats per level.
if you bought all the stat points that are available for your level, you've reached the stat cap of that level.

others might have calculated the maximum amount of points you can buy in the shop, I didn't though.
I hardly ever buy them.

Thank you for confirming that it is 19 per level. When I started it was 40 per level. Unfortunately I don’t know when it changes. Can you tell me the cost of your max stat at level 81? You may need to wait until you level up to 82 before being able to see what the cost was for a maxed 81. Then i can figure out the formula

Capped at 19 per level.  True.

@ about 13,500 per point atm.  This increases with every point.

NOTE:  Each point increase ego/life by 7/8 points.  (15 for every two points).

Defense to KH is also capped.  It caps when price per point for KH =  price per point for Charm.   The price is also well over 13K per point.

KH points do NOT increase ego/life.  (pouts just to prove the point and see who reads this!)

If there is ever a "buy stats holiday"?  Take a full luxury vacation and buy all you can.

Nice, thank you for that. I'm at 9189 price for main stat at lvl 206, so quite far to go.

Sure, when I levelled up to 82, my first available stat upgrade cost 4261and my final stat increase cost 4333. I also noticed that at level 80 stat upgrades increased by 4 instead of the 2.

I hope this helps

I see some players with close to the same level as me but they are much higher than my max.  Have I missed some thing?  Right now I am at lvl 144, I am KH.  My max is 7741 but I see a guy, also a KH but he has 10k.

edit: never mind , i see what he did.

So I think I have a good handle on the stats.

The 3 Main stats are Hardcore, Charm, and Know How. The 2 secondary stats are Endurance and Crit. These stats are modified by 3 things (Note Endurance is also effected by the Harem so add your Harem Endurance to the other three factors)):

Equipment Total + Level Total + Purchased Stat Upgrades + (Harem Endurance)

Equipment Total:
Add up the values of all of your equipment for each specific stat. I have found that Pachinko Players seem to have better stuff and so they have the advantage here. And because the Equipment stat is unique per player I will not count it in the formula for the caps.

Level Total:
Each main stat has it's own special value (SPValue) Hardcore = 7, Charm = 9, Knowhow = 5. Multiply the SPValue by your player level (PLvl) to get this total. Charm Players have an advantage here simply by leveling up they get more Stat points. For example a level 97 player would figure this Level Total by

  • Hardcore = PLvl * SPValue = 97 * 7 = 679
  • Charm = PLvl * SPValue = 97 * 9 = 873
  • KnowHow = PLvl * SPValue = 97 * 5 = 485
  • Endurance = PLvl * 67.5 = 97 * 67.5 = 6548
  • Crit = PLvl * 21 * .005 = 97 * .105 = 10.08

Purchased Stat upgrades:
You start with a cost of 5 for the first stat upgrade. Each time you upgrade the cost per stat is increased by 2 until the cost reaches 4005 after which the cost of a single stat point is increased by 4. (Forum posts indicate that at some point it increases to 6)

So to figure out how many stat points you purchased based on the market cost it is

  • PaidStat = (MarketCost - 5)/2 (It is the same for Hardcore, Charm and KnowHow)

Until the cost reaches 4005 then you need to modify the formula to

  • PaidStat = (MarketCost + 3995)/4 (Simplified from PaidStat = (MarketCost - 5)/2 - (MarketCost-4005)/4)

Then we will need to figure out another formula if and when the stat cost increases again.

The remaining stats are derivatives of figuring out the paid stats for each of the 3 main ones.

  • Endurance = PaidStat of Class * 7.5
  • Crit = all 3 PaidStats added together * .005

So for this chart I use the formulas above and type in (Row 2)  my current level and the market costs for each stat and then grab my harem's endurance level. Then I add my equipment numbers to the "Gear Stat" row and

The Caps:
For the first 25 levels you can purchase 40 stat upgrades per level so MaxPaid = PLvl x 40. After level 25 you can only purchase 19 stat upgrades per level. (I have no idea where 19 comes from it doesn't make sense to me but it is a fact none the less) so essentially levels 1-25 gave you an extra 21 upgrades each level ((40upgrades-19upgrades) x 25levels = 525 stat upgrades) And because the Equipment stat and the Harem Endurance are unique per player I will not count them in the formulas.

Formula up to level 25:

  • StatCap = (Level Total) + (MaxPaid)
  • StatCap = (PLvl * SPValue) + (PLvl * 40)

     Charm Lvl 10 example
     StatCap = (10 * 9) + (10 * 40) = 490

Formula after level 25:

  • StatCap = (Level Total) + (MaxPaid)
  • StatCap = (PLvl * SPValue) + (PLvl * 19 + 525)

     Charm lvl 100 example
     StatCap = (100 * 9) + (100 * 19 + 525) = 3325

  • EnduranceCap = (StatCap for your class * 7.5) + (PLvl * 67.5)
  • CritCap = (PLvl *.105) + (all 3 StatCaps added together * .005)

Incredible work Pluslon. I was looking for this a few days ago, and that’s why I posted in this thread. You even spotted that the cost increases to 4 per upgrade just after 4000. I’ve just finished upgrading my main stat (hard core) and my weakest stat (charm) to the maximum... i’m not sure I would of done if I’d of known how much it was gonna cost though. I’m currently debating whether I need to increase know how now, or wait till later. I’ll probably do it now though, as it’s only gonna get worse as I continue to level up.

I would like to add to this in two points.

First for the level total:
The values 9, 7 and 5 for the specialties depend on which specialty you have.
Your main stat will always increase with 9 points per level up, and your weakness specialty will always increase with 5 points per level up. This leaves the 7/level up for the specialty you are strong against.
So for charm, those formulas are absolutely right, and for the other ones you will have to rotate it around.
HC specialist: +9 HC/level, +5 CH/level, +7 KH/level.
CH specialist: +7 HC/level, +9 CH/level, +5 KH/level.
KH specialist: +5 HC/level, +7 CH/level, +9 KH/level.

Second for the purchased stat upgrades:
You can buy 2000 upgrade points before the cost increase goes up, so the next increase is 4005 + 4*2000 = 12005.
At this point your cost should increase with 6 per point.
You can continue this for 8/point at 12005 + 6*2000 = 24005, if that's even possible.

So i decided to check out to see if these numbers did add up, and surely enough they did (after changing the SPvalue as Chthugha mentioned if you are another class the Charm.

So every number i checked out did work, apart from one; Endurance. I could not get my endurance level to be anywhere close to what i am having in game.

After going over the numbers a couple of times i figured out that you somehow left out the formula for adding the Gear Stat. After some testing i found out that adding the following to the Endurance calc should fix it

Endurance = GearStat of Class * 5 (2797*5) = 13985

Basically each gearstat of your class is worth 5 endurance

Thanks for PlusIon for the numbers and formulas, and all the others who contributed to figuring this out :)

How to calculate for level 29?

You would need to tell us other information in order for you to get your answer. Here is each part of the formula:

Endurance = (PLvl * 67.5)(PaidStat of Class * 7.5) + Equipment + Harem Endurance + (Class Equipment * 5)

The needed information is:

  • PLvl - You stated you were Level 29
  • PaidStat of Class - This is essentially how many times you purchased a stat upgrade in the market. But because this is not necessarily what is shown in the market due to other factors adding to your stats you need to figure it out based on what the market costs is for your "Specialty stat" (Charm, Knowhow, or Hardcore) so use this formula for your Classes Stat based on how much the upgrade cost is. (MarketCost - 5)/2. For example if I am am a Charm player and my Charm stat costs 805 to upgrade then I would use (805-5)/2 = 400 for my PaidStat of Class
  • Equipment - This is simply adding up any equipment that adds to your Endurance
  • Harem Endurance - If you look at your Harem page you will see an endurance value at the top of the list of girls
  • Class Equipment bonus - You look at your equipment and get the total increase for your Stat of Class (Charm, Knowhow, or Hardcore). If you are a charm player then add up the Charm modifiers of all the equiment

I hope this helps.

That only works up to 2000 statpoints, afterwards it rises by 4 per point. When you reach 4000 points it goes then up to 6 per point, by 6000 it should go up to 8 and after 8000 it should be 10. Your maximum statpoints possible are 8125, so that should be all.

It's easier to just take your specialty stat in the shop and subtract 9 * player level from it and then all the equipment bonus.
It gives you the exact amount of points you bought in the shop for you specialty, without having to look at the cost.

So i was wondering how much would it cost to upgrade stat points total, and after spending some time i came to this formula:

Number of skill points = How many point you would want to increase

Market Cost = Cost of the stat in the marked window

Delta = The increase in cost, for under 2000 pts this number would be 2. From 2000-4000 it would be 4.

Total Cost = (number of skill points*Market Cost)+(number of skill points*((number of skill points-1)*Delta))/2

Basically if you wanted to increase 1000 skill points with no prior invested it would turn out something like this:

Total Cost =(1000*5)+(1000*((1000-1)*2))/2 =  1.004.000

Since i am not really a math person, if someone can look onto this and give some feedback that would be appreciated :)

Example 2: (now with picture, yay!)

Using office to easily do the  the calculations.

I wanted to add 50 pts to my knowhow, added in the markedcost, it calculated that it would cost me 164.200 total

Providing screenshots of before and after the calculations add up since 164.718 - 164.200 = 518

I am not sure what happens when skill cost changes to 4 (at 2000 pts) if just changing Delta is sufficient or a changing of the formula is in order.

As i do not have any skill over 4000 i cannot currently test this.

If someone could do some testing and relay back the findings that would be most welcome :)

StatCap = (PLvl * SPValue) + (PLvl * 19 + 525)                                 (PLvl is your level, for SPValue look below)

Sp Value : HC specialist: +9 HC/level, +5 CH/level, +7 KH/level. (you would use this, since your class is HC)
                   CH specialist: +7 HC/level, +9 CH/level, +5 KH/level.
                   KH specialist: +5 HC/level, +7 CH/level, +9 KH/level.

Your statcap would be:

Charm : (40*5)+(40*19+525) = 1485
KH        : (40*7)+(40*19+525) = 1565

We can also figure out how many points you need to cap:

PaidStat = (MarketCost - 5)/2

Charm  : (1003-5)/2 =   499
KH         : (2005-5)/2 = 1000

Then we substract Paidstat from Statcap.

Charm : 1485 -  499 = 986
KH        : 1565 -1000 = 565

Now we need to substract Level Stat, Since Statcap is Paidstat + Levelstat.

Levelstat : PLvl * SPValue

Charm : (40*5) = 200
KH        : (40*7) = 280

Charm : 986 - 200 = 786
KH        : 565 - 280 = 285

We can also figure out the cost of said upgrades:

Total Cost = (number of skill points*Market Cost)+(number of skill points*((number of skill points-1)*Delta))/2

Charm  : (786*1003)+(786*((786-1)*2))/2 = 1.405.368
KH         : (285*2005)+(285*((285-1)*2))/2 =    652.365
