  1. Ok, won my first Champion fight but I find myself slightly disconcerted as I only had one leveled Girl the whole fight. Are you seriously telling us we need to have ALL our girls leveled?

  3. The problem is before you only needed to get lucky once, now you need to get lucky like twenty times to MAYBE get enough shards.

  5. Not everyone can afford to dump money or make this game the one game they play all day. I play enough to clear the activities still trying to claw my way to 300k a day 261k at the moment, and lost count how many girls I still got left to work on. 3 mil on a boss that drops zero money is lame, I'd rather have Karole drop just money rather then terrible affection junk. Least they could of done was made it so the affection items dropped would sell for what Karole would be expected to drop money wise following the pattern of bosses/money.
  6. Yeah, we REALLY don't need cash sinks at this point. I am already broke every time I upgrade a girl and I still got more to do.
  7. Well currently you are probably better off trying to get a boss girl from Pachinko then fighting the boss, they seem to mostly only spit out 1 shard if you x10 roll and rarely drop on single fights.
  8. Yeah, well as close as I was an extra day might of been all I needed to roll those last 8 shards. These events are way too short with this shard system, since before you just needed to get lucky once, Now you need to get lucky a dozen times to MAYBE get one girl.
  9. I didn't have to use refills last event so I had a decent supply of Kobans, and this is all I have to show for Fabienne. Really need to start putting correct dates in as well.
  10. Ah. That makes sense, probably why I wasn't getting it cause I just automatically assumed the excess shards would be deleted.

Been my experience that by the time Devs realize they've hit point #2 it's usually too far past the time to change things, since it's usually a year after they made the mistake and over that time revenue has gone down as the whales and the rest of the players who usually spend money will either be gone or switched to not shelling out money monthly. Granted as much as we complain about the RNG I have seen worse, and at least here you can use Koban's for upgrades instead of JUST a horrible RNG slot machine that spits out low level junk. So why do I put in my two cents if I've seen worse? Because I'd rather have the Devs hate me and a game then wait until it's too late.
  12. Um... I seem to be missing something here. You got the girl and 38 affection flowers in one go? I thought 10x was the most times you can attack in one go.
  13. I've found that I am getting 1 shard at a crack from Karole, but the event girl is up to 11 shards from two 10x draws, with a 3rd 10x draw netting only cash. I already had one of the girls so I need only grind for the one, but if I needed to get both it would get very costly.
  14. I see that now, my first revival girl I got 6 shards from one 10 roll, that makes it three for three on getting shards that way. I know, too small a sample size but it's way too early for me to be blowing through kobans on refilling the combat energy. 1200 kobans for the slow grind on boss girls isn't too bad, way cheaper then the pachinko 10 pull.
  15. Well... so far I am two for two getting ONE whole character shard using the ten attack option. If this trend continues we are looking at 1,000 combat energy and 1200 kobans to get just one girl, so get ready for an endless stream of FOUR day events with FIVE girls to try and get on this system.
  16. So, now instead of getting lucky once to get a girl, you now need to get lucky a hundred times? Yeah not cool, especially the timing. Thank god I got all the boss girls before the update dropped.

I am not currently able to spend anything but time on this game, so my master plan was to grind the Boss girls (One left.), while stockpiling Kobans earned in game to hammer away Epic Pachinko and slowly mine out girls so I could eventually get Epic Pachinko event girls. I knew this was going to be a long haul, and one I was prepared to take, but this change still feels like a slap to the face. I've managed to miss out the finish activities bonus 150 Kobans the last few days cause knowing that I will likely NEVER be able to bring myself to pull the Event Pachinko cause of the lack of guarantee is disheartening. At this point even if I WAS able to spend money, I likely still wouldn't buy Kobans, least not for anything but Epic.
  19. Wow, @_shal_ beat me to it, as I was basically about to post the same thing. While 8,000 Kobans is a lot, Blowing that much or even two or three times that much and possibly not even getting a single solitary girl for it... That is the kind of protection I don't need. Bottom line I can only hope the community decides to outright ignore the Event Pachinko and hold up on buying Kobans until this idea gets reversed. Sadly there will still likely be enough whales who have the disposable income to drop 80,000 Kobans and not blink and @Kinkoid will think it was a great idea based solely on the $ generated and not even once consider to take into account how many players actually bought more kobans/monthly cards and made use of the Event Pachinko vs how many stopped buying kobans/monthly cards. Sorry if I sound so fatalistic, but I am having a bit too many flashbacks to Star Wars Uprising, a game using one of the most profitable IPs ever (This was before the new Trilogy so the issues with it did not affect the game as it was shuttered before The Force Awakens), and they made their entire income plan: "Slot machine gambling that players have no choice but to use for progress." It works for awhile, until the whales get bored, fed up, or can't afford to invest anymore. By the time the thought of appealing to the player base that wasn't dropping stupid amounts of cash on the game crossed their minds, there wasn't enough players left to keep it profitable enough to keep the server on. Now I know there are differences between the two games and it likely costs less to keep this game going then SWU, as well as the Monthly Card (SWU could of really used a similar feature.) but the bottom line I am attempting to get to is this: You can't cater to JUST the minority of the players who can afford to outspend the majority, because once they bail you'll be left with a majority not willing to trust you enough to support the game with their money.

I am hoping that Java thing means I can go back to playing this game on Firefox, but I must admit this Pachinko change up gives me grave concerns, Only way I see the 1800 kobans a pull EVENT Pachinko NOT being a complete disaster is if after the introduction event the girls come back for revival events in EPIC Pachinko. Cause making it more expensive to be first to have a girl will certainly go over a lot better then having all future new girls minus the mission and boss fight girls only in this Event Pachinko. I think the best example I can give is Kabam's Star Wars: Uprising and EA's Galaxy of Heroes, which came out a couple of months apart. SWU had a Diablo type playstyle and a great storyline, a weekly raid event where the entire server would come together and attempt to drive the Galactic Empire off a planet, SWGOH is a collection type game with no actual storyline aside from a few unique missions that are cycled and change weekly, clans can fight each other, and so many raids you might think you actually are playing World of Warcraft instead. Uprising has been shutdown and GoH is still ongoing. Uprising's failure was it eventually devolved into only being possible to progress only by wallet warriors from an atrocious RNG slot machine for gear you didn't really need save for the fact it upped your character rating enough to attempt higher level missions that would be LOCKED OUT if your rating was not high enough. Players complained for OVER a year literally begging the devs to make changes, up to and including: getting rid of rating requirement lockouts, making the gear event grinds, making the slot machine cheaper/RNG cheaper, actually selling the gear outright. Shortly before it closed they actually finally went with the last idea and you could use Chromium (Their version of Kobans) to buy yourself a full set of 7 star gear, which I happily bought (Ironically all of it was with free chromium as special buy events were the ONLY things worth spending it on and were few and far between.) and enjoyed being able to finish previously unavailable missions, and was disappointed but not surprised when the shutdown was announced shortly after since while improvements were coming, they came too late. Star Wars Galaxies of Heroes, despite being from EA (I am sure most will know of the whole Battlefront II Loot Box Fiasco), actually got monetizing it right. (Believe me, I absolutely HATE admitting this) It isn't Pay to Win, it's Pay to be first to have the new character along with what is needed to upgrade them, after which those characters are available to grind for the rest of us, who already get to try out the character during their introductory missions where you get what you need to unlock a few stars for them. So even those that would go full Wallet Warrior and found themselves unwilling or unable to continue spending could still keep playing the game and actually make some progress. Bottom line is it isn't wrong to try and get people to give you more money (Which is obviously what is expected to be a high priority for the developers since no money = no game) but you never EVER go and make a Free to Play game full on Wallet Warrior as you'll eventually lose them and be stuck with players who rarely/never paid who will be so jaded they simply won't trust you enough to spend more/start spending.
  21. It'd be nice if you could filter both level and challenges to better pick targets, or possibly a check box to select that will hide opponents who you have already battled three times already.
  22. If you want more people participating/actually trying the basic lowest reward for a tier should at least be equal to the top reward of the previous tier.
  23. I got both of the boss girls day one without spending kobans, last event I barely managed to get the last boss girl last day.
  24. Heh. I am level 197, and I still got a level 82 item cause I have yet to find anything better to replace it with.
