  1. Yeah, they did the same thing with the Mythic Pachinko last year. (Which was less than a week after its introduction at the time.)
  2. Finished about a day and a half ago, a few hours before @snowman22 did, so I was also ranked 400-odd at the time. Currently there are about 900 people who have hit tier 45. I'm keeping myself around the 10k mark For Science™, sorry to those unlucky enough to draw me. (There seem to be plenty of other easy opponents available though, around the 9900 mark I had many opponents for PoA today that I could have defeated even unboosted.) Meanwhile, my superweak alt is here at the moment: Not bad for having started about 6 days late and probably averaging less than 20 kisses used per day because I keep forgetting to spend them. I'm typically winning 8 or 9 battles out of 10 on there, so I'm reasonably hopeful that I'll be reaching tier 35 before the end.
  3. My results were 3 top 10's and one "didn't bother": Day 1: No kobans spent, just needed to claim the two smallest XP rewards from seasons. Day 2: 200 GPx10 orbs plus some last-minute donating of 310m to defend the top 10 spot. Rina gotten at this point with 2x50 shards. Day 3: Was a nice 4-way battle between the players who finished 2nd to 5th, before Pain nearly tripled his score at the very end via platinum card advantage... I could have easily sniped my way back into the top 4, but I'm already sitting on so many Mythic Orbs (260 shards worth at the moment, to say nothing of the singles) that even paying just ~200 kobans to upgrade from 10 shards to 25 didn't feel worth it. This one was 1st place or bust for me (for the Epic orbs, which I actually can use), so bust was okay. Day 4: Forgot to take screenshots, but I didn't try here at all and finished 34th or so. Top 10 was nearly as high as what I spent for a top 4 last month, and books are actually a pretty valuable resource so I decided to save them for koban contests rather than get yet another 10-shard Mythic orb here.
  4. And late report here as well...102 players: Phoenix KH 459 29 wins [CNO] Yayane KH 457 19 wins Pornbird HC 454 2nd place x1 Barf KH 452 17 wins Gwenx Ch 451 3rd place x2 Korpati1 KH 451 1 win The Ultimate HC 450 7th place x1 Cepa KH 449 2 wins Itsme HC 446 8th place x1 ... Dickens KH 446 1 win Testiclese KH 445 5 wins maxvell KH 444 1 win Blah Ch 428 4th place x1 Pretty rough bracket, with the top 3 spots almost certainly out of reach altogether. The low levels: Two-way tie for 28th at level 432 for me, median 417.
  5. 5 days late, but just for completeness: Bigger than expected margin to those below me, especially anony76 who was the only fully permaboosted player and really should have been in the top 4 as KH and the second-highest level in the league. In fact, as he was also heavily bugged, I lost all three battles against anony76, my first league losses in several months. (In competitive weeks anyway; I don't recall and didn't record if I lost anything in intentional top 15 weeks.) Still a 22.37 average for me, a fairly middle of the road result. At least I was correct that it would be close between 4th and 5th. I ended up using 2 ginseng / 2 cordyceps as a booster setup twice during the week instead of once (and correspondingly 4 ginseng only twice instead of three times), due to a rather large amount of strong upper-level KH and Ch opponents where full ginseng wasn't effective enough. Top 15 by class: 3x KH, Ch, KH, HC, 4x Ch, HC, Ch, Ch, HC, HC - not a lot of Know-how up here this time. Points / averages at the prize cutoffs: 15th 5758, 16th 5756 (19.38), 30th 5060, 31st 5059 (17.03)...very close at both.
  6. So you were at 6400+ points at some point, unlocked tier 27, and then lost battles to put you back at 6374. Yeah, you don't get to unlock another tier just by getting back to 6400. #28 is at 6600.
  7. Yeah, no. Why on Earth would anyone suggest adding a new currency to the game that does the exact same thing as another currency that already exists?
  8. If you were at 6374 points, you were at tier 26 and headed towards completion of 27.
  9. I'm talking about the matchmaking principles. But yeah, it's becoming pretty clear that you just didn't think about the mechanics behind Seasons, so it's increasingly hard to feel sympathy for your bad strategic choices.
  10. FWIW, I'm pretty sure people have reported level 400+ players vulturing league wins as low as Sexpert 2.
  11. Using boosters just to win more often than your normal stats allow for was already dumb in the arena, so no, I'm pretty sure it wasn't "nobody" who knew that that would not be a good idea in Seasons either.
  12. My first opportunity in 13 rotations to use the orbs. Started on 249, so girl plus 64 items: 31 avatars 15 books (3 / 1 / 7 / 4) 18 boosters (6 Gin, 2 Juj, 8 Chl, 2 Cor) (The free spin prior to that was another Chlorella.)
  13. FWIW, two consecutive sets of opponents on my weak alt I've been testing things with (this is on the main server, don't be mistaken by the player name): Tier 17 and still steady progress with at least one beatable opponent on nearly every update. No boosters, almost no market stats upgrades, no legendary girls, just reasonably current rainbow equipment. Considering I started late on that account and only put in like 8 days worth of season battles so far... We'll see if it's enough to reach tier 35 in the end (I'm not ruling out the possibility that I'll be hitting a hard wall somewhere), but it's looking decent. But even if it's not enough for 35, I'll most likely get close enough that some targeted boosting during the last few days would do the trick. Boosting early in the season is just dumb if you're not swimming with the level 400+ crowd. Edit: Just for reference of where I'm at with that mojo score: Considering how many purely casual players the game has, if ~20,000 players out of the active 60-70,000 end up getting the girl, that's a reasonable result. I bet the number of people who get at least 2 of the 3 villain girls in a classic event isn't much higher (if it's not actually lower, even), and that's a game mode that literally just requires people to show up.
  14. All I can say is: Wow, 5 whole refills in the name of getting a robust sample size.
  15. Yes, that's what "level up a girl" means.
  16. I was all ready to ask "Wait, what?" again, but I suppose I've finally figured out what strange strength numbers you keep citing. I thought the penny had dropped when @DvDivXXX had to set you straight on various aspects of the battle mechanics last month, but apparently not, so: Please learn to ignore the maximum numbers shown on the battle preview, as those are only in effect when both the beta and omega girls have joined the battle, and are thus barely (sometimes) or not at all (most of the time) relevant. Absolutely nobody else thinks of other players in terms of those numbers. Well, yeah, tier 38 is certainly not the normal speed of progression, so it's unsurprising that your set of potential opponents is also far from normal. I don't know if you used kobans early on or if you somehow just got lucky to fall into a very strange level/mojo bubble on the way up, but I daresay your experience is entirely unrepresentative for how Seasons is playing out for most players.
  17. At the high levels where all the rushers are, there isn't any contest that makes sense to try to win through PvP points. And a self-reply: I remembered now that Path of Attraction may require me to do Seasons battles after that anyway, since I'll certainly be at 10k before at least some of the PoA PvP tasks. Oh well. A point to keep in mind for next month, perhaps.
  18. Enjoy the bonus Anita in this Orgy, courtesy of crazy Kinkoid.
  19. Sure, I didn't mean you specifically, but it's a notion I've seen claimed multiple times by others since the patch a week and a half ago. Apologies if that came across wrong. Anyway, I have a data point like that to contribute now, too. I faced the same opponent twice just three battles apart a few minutes ago; I got 24 mojo at 6211-6264, then 20 at 6267-6264.
  20. Well, a waste of kobans previously (sunk costs and all), but a waste of effort now. I'll probably stop battling altogether at around 10,500 mojo (maybe even a couple hundred points earlier), just enough to get out of the way of other players still trying to get to 10k. It does appear that the rushers are no longer spending kobans on extra kisses now that they're at 10k. I guess they'll pick up again during the last couple of days.
  21. *reports Slynia for posting in languages other than English*
  22. So much for the idea that the mojo award calculations are percentage-based. I'm pretty sure ±65 would convert to a 24/16 split at any mojo value. (And would be equal to 19/13 on the old 32-point scale, which sounds about right to me for the arena battles of old.)
  23. Seems like a waste of effort to me if so, considering the additional points they'll receive for next month (if any at all) are surely equivalent to fewer battles saved than they're doing this time.
  24. D3 with 100 players again: GeorgeMTO KH 459 40 wins anony76 KH 456 2 wins james_t_kirk KH 449 9th place x1 Oliver Twix HC 449 3rd place x5 Ads KH 448 2nd place x4 darkf3rr3t HC 448 1 win kapral HC 446 8th place x2 Alex Ch 445 11th place x1 Michael4UU Ch 445 6th place x2 Harlequin Ch 445 3rd place x2 ... Booo KH 444 3rd place x1 RocketPop Ch 442 2nd place x1 Not as much of a foregone conclusion as last week's, but that does seem like a fairly likely 2nd-4th place again. Potentially tight competition though, and the distance between 4th and 5th may not be large in the end here; we'll see. The low levels: I'm one of two players at level 431, tied for 28th place. Median 412.
