  1. What is even going on here? This has nothing to do with the bug, and becoming openly hostile. If you're not capable of being polite to each other, I'll have you be quiet. Forcefully. Edit: Hidden a few posts that weren't relevant to the bug and cleaned up one more to keep it consistent.
  2. You can buy them for 60 Energy each at the Reception Desk in Champions screen.
  3. Randomly selected from your level bracket: 1-40, 41-80, 81-120 etc. Final bracket is 361+. You can 'store' up to 5 contests, by the way. If you have one that is more than 5 days old, though, you won't get entered into a new one at reset. And with regards to what @JAVhero said, it's been calculated at a roughly 5% chance of tickets dropping from normal boss battles. Obviously, subject to variances in RNG.
  4. I've been in contact with Noacc about this and he's told me that he'll be digging further into it next week. It's not an isolated issue, but it's not one that everyone experienced either, which according to their systems shouldn't be possible (unless you happened to have a full bar when the manual refill went out). He was very surprised when I alerted him to this issue yesterday, and had been unaware of the inconsistency of the manual refill that was done last week.
  5. You don't have to claim the rewards as soon as they're available, but if you don't collect them by the end of the event then they will be lost.
  6. Your math isn't off, although there's definitely a big distinction between things in terms of their direct Koban value and what most players actually value them at. Personally, I'd never buy any of the extra rewards offered there for actual Kobans by themselves. On the other hand, considering I get girls on the regular from Epic Pachinko for 5400 Kobans when Orbs won't suffice for clearing it, getting two for 7200 already seems like a great deal as the 'premium' girls of this event. By the way, the Event 4-game orb is worth 1800 Kobans.
  7. There was a visual bug earlier associated with the old league reset time; you don't actually have 15 fights to use. Use 1 fight and your bar should go back to displaying what is actually there.
  8. Ah, I think you've misunderstood me slightly there. I was more referring to, working backwards in time: Buff to contest rewards, Orbs, Tower of Fame Categories and Leagues, Contests, Daily mission reward. So it was more about how there have been additions to the game over the years that created ways to earn Kobans (or the equivalent of in the case of Orbs) in game. I think those were all the major ones. When I started there was literally nothing except an occasional daily mission that awarded a handful of Kobans. That was it. If you wanted a girl from the Pachinko, you had to buy Kobans at full price.
  9. Hmmm.. a poke to the thread to please try and disagree with each other in a civil manner if you don't mind. Regarding the delivery of criticism, here's my take: Pick and choose your fights. When one manages to find faults with everything, you really do just come off as entitled, and are likely to be ignored by anyone on the other side looking for valid criticisms. You're likely to only find traction among other similarly frustrated players. Tying into this, listing things which have become problems as a result of another problem is counter-productive. E.g. complaining about the probable time investment required of each of the tasks when really just solving the excessive time-wall presented by one of them makes everything else manageable. It is a 7 day event; therefore don't complain that it's not complete-able in 4 (it totally is with the second set of rewards, but regardless). So, my current take on the event: I think that any competent F2P player should be able to get the first girl in this event on the path without any Koban investment or pre-stocking of resources, with a notable exception on very new players that have barely touched Champions. Getting the second under the same circumstances is probably close to impossible, purely for the fact you need to find 90 tickets over 7 days while still leaving enough time for the final two tasks. Whether the event needs tweaking there (and by how much) is up for debate. If a person needs to buy 10 or so tickets with Kobans to complete the path, I don't think that is unreasonable. After all, that's generally how it goes with buying refills on Combativity if you're short a few shards towards the end of another event. This all goes with the caveat that you actually treat it as an event. There seem to be a lot who are talking about counter-productive play to complete the missions, for example. I'm sorry, but it's the same level of counter-productive to choose to spend 12 days hitting low end bosses for event girl shards when any other event is on. Yes, extra tiers and girls have alleviated that problem somewhat but we spent an awful long time without them, and it won't last forever before it becomes unequivocally worse to be hitting those low bosses again. Regardless, to expect to be able to complete the missions passively while playing the game the same way as you always do... kinda defeats the point. There might as well not be an event, just extra freebies thrown at players because why not. As for my own state of play... not much to say, really. The high level account is ahead of the tasks but that's by virtue of a boss contest on Nutaku being timed perfectly to burn off that 70 Combativity as soon as the villain task opened and because I completely fluffed up my league management with the mid-level account (obviously after I'd given other people tips on how not to do that 🤦‍♂️ ). Doing all of those PvP tasks with just Arena was not fun. At any rate, high level is going to finish sometime in the next 24 hours and the mid level probably a day after that. So stacks of time. Also both are going to finish the event with a healthy surplus of tickets, so I don't think the 40 ticket stockpile going into the event was necessary. Probably would have been fine going in with none, with the 60 from rewards and whatever earned during the event, although it would have certainly pushed me much closer to the deadline. Oh, and one final note regarding the costs of things in game since it's popped up a few times in here. I'm sure I'll keep repeating myself on this. The amount of Kobans required to be bought by a new player to 100% everything continues to increase. The amount that a new player can obtain for free also continues to increase. I think it's a fair trade-off, and newer players don't realise how spoiled they are compared to when some of us vets started.
  10. This is an English speaking forum; please use English to post. There's an exception for those looking for clubs in their preferred language, so @DerDude I've moved your other topic to Club Promotions. I'm locking this thread.
  11. Using a new email to create a new account. I can't think of any gain to doing this, though.
  12. Nerfing, to use my own term. Basically, choosing girls and equipping gear which will weaken you, so that it takes more tickets to finish a stage on a Champion. The reason for doing this is because completing a stage triggers a 24 hour cooldown during which you can't use tickets. If you push all your Champions into cooldown, then you're stuck on that task for the next 24 hours with no way to progress except by paying the Koban fee, which is rather costly. Hence, smart play is to weaken yourself so you can clear the task without that happening.
  13. While you're not strictly wrong, I don't think it's necessary to nerf yourself down into a way too easy league. Just don't be in one where you're getting curb-stomped. Also, if you have the time/inclination, building up the wins through Arena ought to be quicker, unless you're winning less than 1 fight in every 3 there.
  14. Yes, I tried to address that with the first of the two faults I found with the ticket requirement, but perhaps I wasn't specific enough. To clarify, I agree that having to purposefully nerf yourself in a Champion fight as 'smart' play is ass-backwards. I'm less sure what you mean here. Do you mean in league? Having to hold back from promoting in the top 15 has long been a problem with leagues. With my mid-level account I've been hanging at 16th in a league until I feel comfortable with trying for a top 4 and being strong enough to go for a top 30 in the league above. Obviously a bit of an educated guess as there's no way of fully knowing until you're there. At any rate, that's less of a 'this event' problem and more 'balance of leagues' problem.
  15. You also need to have finished Evil Laboratory quest in World 3.
  16. It would be 60 if you opted to spend the Kobans for the bonus rewards, since that gives you all the unlocked rewards a second time. I think they were working off this premise since the opening post was asking about what you'd get if you unlocked the second path. In which case, you'd only have to find an extra 35 tickets. Doable, but possibly cutting it a bit close depending on how hard you'd find the other tasks to complete in time. A risk for you to ponder.
  17. Ugh. This thread is on fire. Welp, nothing to do but pour on kerosene. I'll preface this by saying I'm playing with a high level (423) account and a mid(?) level (238) account. Both have bought the 2nd path unlock at the start. The high level because it garners plenty of Kobans from D3 and the mid level because I was extremely fortunate and got a 100 drop on Levitya, so I suddenly had a bunch more Kobans to play around with there. At the outset, the only task which really looks like it's really gonna be a pain in the arse is the 2nd Champion ticket performance one. I stocked up on Legendary Days with tickets so both went in with around 40 tickets, plus will be getting 60 from rewards. Just 20 to make up; that's doable in a couple of days. So not too bad for me. However, there's two reasons this one sticks out to me like a sore thumb compared to the rest, both of which have been outlined by others already. - Newer players with not enough Champions unlocked that require lots of challenges to beat are going to run foul of the 24 hour cooldown. I'm not sure if this is going to be a problem for the mid level account; it has 4 Champions unlocked, but none are especially challenging. It will hopefully prove to be a good benchmark of how far this ticket investment makes this challenge difficult on this particular front. High level account has all 6 pushed up to at least 8 (Romero is at 23 >.< ) so no problems there. - It encourages inefficient play outside of the event. The cost itself wouldn't annoy me *if it made sense to stockpile tickets in ordinary play*. It does not, however, and I'm slightly vexed by needing to spend a few days before the event just sitting on a pile of tickets. I will point out though that some people are massively over-exaggerating by saying it would have taken them all month to have built up the necessary amount. With the previous rewards you need 90 tickets to clear the tasks if you don't unlock with Kobans. You probably want 2-3 days clear after this task for the final ones. You should be able to get 10 tickets per day through various means in the game, which means you needed to have started stocking maybe 5 days before this event started. I'm not denying that the play is still silly, but don't blow it out of proportion. I can't see any of the other tasks proving to be major obstacles on either account, neither of which I've particularly prepped with resources for this event. This is of course subject to change and I may be overestimating how much I can gather in the 7 day time frame. I'm somewhat of the opinion though that a lot of people are simply upset that they can't log in a handful of times a day, mindlessly throw Combativity at bosses and have a girl or two at the end. Personally, I highly enjoy having something in the game which forces me to adapt to a situation and find an efficient way around a problem. Different strokes, I guess.
  18. The irony here is that I had to approve this ☝️ post but agree with 👇 for the most part. I'm sure glad I saved my tickets from Legendary Days refills. Since I'll be buying the pass and getting 60 tickets from rewards, there's only 10 more I need to find elsewhere. Also my Champions are all high level so spending them down shouldn't be too much of a drag. It's going to be shitty for new players and those that didn't think to stockpile beforehand after the last PoA.
  19. Heh. I guess I'll take that at face value and just praise my good luck then. And yeah, I just spend all spins and single game orbs as soon as I'm able to. I often have a rotation with no girls so I take any opportunity. Oh, it's worth noting that was on Nutaku (I used hh.com Koban values to not confuse the hell out of people) so there are no avatars there. It's hard to say whether girl drop rates are adjusted for those being in the pool without some very large (and accurate!) data sets, but I guess my numbers anecdotally support that they are not. Maybe I should start recording Mythic properly so that I have hard numbers on that...
  20. Lissa is a Champion girl 😁 But yes, over small samples you can get some pretty wild variance on the number of girls from those spins. My own small sample is 12 girls in 204 spins, which is less than 6%😭 On the other hand, when Mythic first came out and Mountain Sophie was in there, and I wasn't sure if previous event mission girls were going to come back predictably, I dropped 10800 Kobans worth on the single spin for nada. It's subsequently balanced itself out with 3 girls from free spins/orbs but still, ouch! TL;DR still wouldn't recommend spending tangible Kobans on anything but the Epic Pachinko x10.
  21. Just to clarify, that is Shal's own version, not the one currently pinned in the forum, which hasn't been updated in some time. So you'll have to come back here for it if you want it in the future. Although the stuff pinned here is in need of a serious overhaul and I ought to get round to updating it at some point.
  22. Quoting the most relevant part for my reply; I did read all of it. I think we're going to have to agree to disagree on this point. My personal opinion is that the 'reasonable amount of effort' per girl should stay the same, or only decrease marginally. Which means the newer the player is, the harder/longer it will be for them to reach completion as the number of girls constantly increases. Moving goalposts, as it were. But I'm going to make a quick comparison here to demonstrate a point. My main account on Nutaku has been played for about 2.5 years, over which time it has acquired 381 girls. This is with a gold (once they were introduced) card, occasional bundle purchases and high level league winnings. And if you don't mind me tooting my own horn, I play rather efficiently there. The alt account on hh.com has been (actively) played for about 6 months in total, and that's being generous. I've only really focused on it for the last 3 months. With a silver card, no bundles, and piddling league winnings. It has 111 girls, around 70 of which have been in the last 3 months. The amount of effort required to gain girls has decreased substantially over the years, though it may not be immediately noticeable. And now I need to slap myself for being so off-topic. Rather cheap Orgy Days for me, as I took the effort to clear out Magical Girls last year because I really wanted Cori (slightly kicking myself for that decision now, but oh well), and apparently I also did some damage to the Pachinko on one of the other old events. Just Bella on the boss and 3 girls to collect from Pachinko, 2 old and 1 new. Completion draws ever closer!
  23. I'm afraid not. This is pretty much a non-event for you; some events just don't cater to new players. Enjoy the saved Kobans.
  24. We (George and myself) cannot answer that question, as we don't work for Kinkoid. We are merely players that moderate the forum. However, as for this 'proposed solution' of splitting the reset times, lets leave aside whether this is remotely feasible for a second. How does that solve anything? If something goes wrong on one of the resets when the techie Devs aren't in their office, then you've still got the same problem. To reiterate what George said, people need to get it out of their heads that this was a change to help/hinder any particular part of the playerbase. It's simply more convenient for Kinkoid; I've lost track of the number of times something new was broken at reset and we all had to sit and twiddle our thumbs while waiting for someone to wake up and fix it. I don't think there is really anything more to discuss here, but I'll leave the thread open. However, preemptive warning to the thread in general; I'm already seeing some unpleasant back and forth between people in different time zones. If this gets toxic, I'm locking it up.
