  1. Yea, I think the bonus health doesn't enter the league point calculation for the match. Instead it calculates with your "base" health. As in, without the counter bonus. You get the bonus on top of that and then lose it to the first hit. So if I'm understanding it correctly, the bug does actually hinder you, because every 10% of your health equals to a lower number than it would with the bonus.
  2. Pretty much what my preliminary math is showing - the blessings provide the superior numbers. And in the ideal case scenario, you want your defense team to be balanced and as high numbers via blessings as possible. You may be able to fiddle with some numbers here and there, getting some stats from elements over others. But only within a very small fraction of girls whose numbers happen to be high in the given week. The way you can actually use elements to gain a massive advantage is reactively. By fine-tuning a team against a specific opponent who didn't set a balanced team as defense. Unless I'm missing something important, chances are very soon almost everyone will be sitting on a balanced team and so there will be very few opportunities (or reasons) to toy with elements for anyone. Give it a couple weeks. That will be one hell of a middle finger to the new system as a whole. It would be different if getting 3+ copies of the same element actually gave an extra bonus of sorts. Since it doesn't, there's not much reason to do that. Just exposes you to being countered by attackers.
  3. I'm assuming the massive chunk of health I lose to the first hit I take every league match is a visual bug of sorts? Or does bonus health just go poof, but doesn't count towards match score? Something real weird is going on there. Well...not surprised honestly, but them spaghetti be freaky EDIT: seems like that only happens when I have bonus health from countering the opponent's element. The first hit I take erases all that bonus health and does standard damage on top of that afterwards
  4. Okay, this is annoying. Clicking the girl portraits in harem now tends to scroll things a little bit. And clicking the element icon on the portrait opens a window. Couldn't care less in HH (but feel for low lvl folk), but in CxH collecting girl cash is kind of a big deal

The latter would be beyond broken Well, % of dmg dealt it is And since we're discussing these details...crit dmg multiplier calculates from base damage. So 50% extra crit damage will turn the baic 200% crit into 250%...not 300% if anyone was hopeful Anyone knows the details of how element stat bonuses interact with boosters and club bonuses? Anyway, overall this all feels like it's likely gonna make lvl advantage into even a bigger deal than it was. Because of how all these little bonuses add up.

Well, gonna experiment with it a bit and see how much time it requires to do. I have a bit of an "all or nothing" approach to most things. If something's worth doing, it's worth doing it right. No half-assing things. Especially if said half-assing is out of my control. That just makes things frustrating. I mean, some days I got hours of free time. But most I don't. Work that needs me to be available on call most of the time, studying, two partners. Adds up. And certainly a lot higher on the priority list than games. So...we'll see ^^
  8. fire/stone? Are there already colloquial names for the elements that I'm not yet aware of? I'm gonna guess %damage and %crit damage? And was confused here for a while...all I saw bla say was "yes"...went through previous pages to make sure I didn't miss anything. Pictures only showed after I came back here in resignation All in all, I hope this new system won't end up requiring team adjustments for every individual opponent. Pretty sure I wouldn't have time for that. And would probably end up not caring about leagues at all out of necessity.
  9. I wonder...about the countering. If an opponent has 2 elements, do I get two bonuses for countering both, or do I have to counter both to get the bonuses in the first place? In such a scenario...does it make a difference if both the elements are from the same "circle", or each from a different one? Also...if both are from the 3 element circle (Dom, Sub, Voyeur) and I counter both...one of mine will inevitably be countered back. What numbers does that produce? I get double bonus and the opponent one, or only I get a basic bonus and opponent none? And if countering both produces a double bonus...do they stack additively, or multiplicatively? Speaking of that... +20% crit chance could potentially add up to a massive number together with harmony and elements. Is that just flat 1 in 5 chance, or is that multiplicative? As in, 20% of the crit you have. Like, if the chance from harmony is 15% and I get the bonus...does it make 35%, or 1.2 x 15% = 18%? One option sounds seriously megapowerful while the other would barely be worth the effort.

But it still sucked to get jumped 2 minutes before end...oh, well Rushed most of the fights in the first couple days, because that set of blessings was WAY better for me than the next. Only 3 permaboosters which is nice. RNG didn't like me much tho... -37.28 But wouldn't be enough to make a difference...unless there was opposite kinda randomness involved there too
  11. Yea, the name itself (Takanome) doesn't ring any bells with me either. But does have several wins on record. The number (4) is low considering the level, but there is that level to contend with. Well...we'll see ^^
  12. This looks winnable to me. If our god and tormentor RNG wills it. Takanome could be a threat I think? Also this is the lowest number of people with higher lvl than me I've ever faced. I'm right there under Major Loo. Still a 25 lvl difference against the top of the lineup tho 377 - (445) - 491
  13. Phew. This...was too close. Came 30 minutes before end, hoping to get at least another unboosted or two to increase the chances and make it a bit less of a coin toss. Nope. But 6 permaboosters and some mental math later RNGesus decided to favor me...with giving me pretty much the expected average numbers. That was a nice change after a week of being constantly in the negative. Well, can't complain in the end...no losses and a win, but damn was it close Was wrong about one thing tho. Expected lollo to be the only threat.
  14. Now, that sounds delightful ^^ Might even work out for me this time. This looks pretty winnable. Unless I'm missing some hidden threat, lollo is likely to be my only competition. But not sure how much of a competition. Well...only one way to find out... RNG is really not on my side so far tho. Hope that balances itself out over time 102 players, 491 - 380 lvl
  15. Damn, missed the shot. Last time I saw was 20 or so minutes before ending. Vampirash was first, me second, Thulsa Doom third and Nox After fourth. I expected vampirash to win from the start...and me to have a good shot at top 4. Vampirash won and I held the 2nd spot, so that much worked out. I did expect vampirash to have a sizeable lead tho. But last time I saw I was only 4 points behind after vampirash made a push today. There's a good chance that gap grew. And I'd very much love to see the final scores. Thulsa was 50 odd points behind me and Nox After a couple hundred. There may have been some changes, but probably nothing too major given I didn't get jumped.
  16. Doesn't look like a very friendly league, but there may be a top 4 chance...hopefully Whatever gave you that idea? Nothing like getting grabbed by the neck and rammed into the wall by a league opponent to get into the game mood
  17. Oh, that it very much can be. The first few hits are usually free tho And I tend to prefer the opposite...being pushed and forced. At least at the start of things
  18. That's...actually better than what I expected. Not a top 4, but none of the numbers look unbeatable once I get a few more levels. Thought the gap would be bigger. But, damn...everyone and their grandmas were permaboosting. Had to take 9 people boosted, 5 of which are on the screenshot. Somehow miraculously only lost a single match there (against Doominica). Aaaand the current league looks only marginally friendlier. Charming. Time to congratulate vampirash on the victory

  20. Uhh, this is gonna be bad. Seems like I'll be dealing with 9 boosted players, multiple of which I may lose some matches against. Been a while since I got such a spanking. And this is not even the good kind...oh, well

  22. Oh, just realized I haven't posted this yet. So...here goes ^^ Things turned out exactly as I expected them to. JMich being the only threat in the league. Would need to screw up, or not have time for me to be able to surpass that lvl advantage. So I played it fairly chill. Tried running with a different booster setup too (3 cordys instead of 2 + ginseng/chlorella). Hard to tell how much of a difference it might have made in either direction. Not enough numbers to meaningfully compare yet. It does guarantee very high scores against folk that get erased in 4 hits tho which is nice. On the other hand it invites RNG shenanigans from stronger ones. The current/new league looks way scarier tho. And deadlier. Got serious doubts about top 4 here, but...we'll see
  23. Honestly expected some last minute shenanigans there...I'm almost disappointed. But I certainly won't be caught complaining Especially since neither of the blessings have been especially friendly to me (first batch was a lot worse than the second), I didn't have all that high expectations, but did hope for a top 4. Well, technically it qualifies I suppose Surprisingly I had a lot higher average for the first 30 or so opponents that were with the initial blessings (had none of the blessed mythics). Like, stupidly high. 23.35 or so. Probably just the players I caught unboosted first were by far the weakest of the lineup. Felt kinda bad to see the average go down tho Also this is like the third week in a row I see such a low so high...congratulations and stuff ^^ Kinda wonder how I'd fare if my lvl was lower. Did pretty fine back then, but...the opponents were lower than they are now as well so it's not really the same
  24. Lowest average I've had in quite some time, but...judging from the scores of others it was just an overall thing across the league. All in all an expected result of the week. No way to challenge Anime world and not enough meaningful threat to drop out of top 4, so...here I am I guess. The picture was taken some 10 minutes before the end as I had to leave. Not sure how the scores may have changed then, but...I did keep my position.
