  1. I didn't see anyone posting about this, and I doubt everyone would fail to notice the absence of contests for one day, let alone three. The closed contests are still there because I figured I'd keep them around - check if it's possible at all, to begin with - until I run out of champion tickets. Could it be because of those two? Is that behavior intentional?

Previously, I hardly ever had to re-enter my login credentials outside very few cases (e.g. total browse cleanup or outright an OS clean install); but in the last 24 hours I had to relog 4 or 5 times simply after coming back from a few hours long break, because for some reason I am greeted with the "Login" classroom scene when I open the homepage, despite having checked "Stay Connected" during the login prior to that session (I even tried unchecking and rechecking it again, just in case).
  3. What potential? I thought event girls don't have the "increasing chance to drop as you do more battles" like normal boss girls. Random guess here: so the "worse gaming experience" was referring purely to the psychological effect of the change, rather than some "part of game code/mechanic" affecting actual chance to obtain a girl?
  4. @csys Yep. From what I understood, It's a chance to get affection points instead of cash, which then rolls a chance to get either random amount of affection points from within the range specified for each boss in the patch notes (1-7 for Bremen), or 100 points, instantly getting the girl (i.e. Bremen battles can't award 8-99 points). That would make sense because if every battle starts awarding affection points, you would be unable to earn any cash from bosses until you get all the girls, which means not only severely diminished cash income (since alot of it comes from boss battles, unless you keep monitoring harem profits and picking up every girl's profits the moment they generate), but also that acquiring boss girls would be extremely easy (since you take cash out of the pool of two drops - cash and affection points).
  5. How is it "reset to zero", if with the new system? @Fruity91 Could you elaborate on the "worse" part? The way I see it, "If you still have boss girls to collect - the new system is better, and if you dont - it's the same as before". Are event girl attraction-point rolls going to interfere with normal girls' or something? How is the worse scenario - "nothing changed" - "worse gaming experience"?

  7. Due to [yet another BOOHOO] veeery long failure streak, I started wondering: do these increases/decreases/resets for boss girls only apply to battles? For example, I spam the same villain for weeks - no girls (the way I understand it, the chance to get a girl from them slowly increases as I accumulate failures). Then one day I get one of that villain's girls via Epic Pachinko; does the chance to get another girl from that villain reset "because I got one of their girls", or stays and keeps accumulating "because the way I obtained her was not via battles"?
  8. First step was to [hopefully inadvertently] cut the dailies' experience gain 3 days before the leagues were scheduled to start, and now trying to open the Tower of Fame throws out an error...this patch is not off to a good start.
  9. Vampi claims it's in the patch notes. I don't see anything about "proportional" adjustment in there. Could you point me to the source of that claim, please? I only see the line that explains how affection's going to be tied to the rarity (i.e. how the New System works), not how the adjustment between Old and New is going to be carried out.
  10. Either I'm blind or this "forum" place thingy could reeeeeally use a Private Messaging function of some sort. Would you happen to have the source for that formula, by any chance? I'm curious because if the formula relies on variables "known only by the devs", then the existence of that formula - in that particular shape and form - could've only been announced by the devs, as well.
  11. ....what? Either you do it because you want to or you don't because you don't. From what I gather, event [boss] girls have their own drop rate, which is A) [claimed to be] 3x the usual boss girls' rate (then again, if the "normal" rate were 0.00001%, would you really feel the difference? REALLY?), and B) unaffected by the boss battle count (i.e. only the "usual" girls are). Besides: during the last event I got the event girl from Dark Lord on Day 1, and never got the one from Spy Ninja; in a similar fashion, I always get one of boss girls on Day 1 of starting a new story area (which is further "diluted" by the story/quest/whatever items), always get the remaining two girls before finishing the same area, AND it always happens on the last day (two tops) of finishing the area (currently 3-4 days away from finishing Admittance of the Dead). By all means, do tell: should I be cursing the RNG for getting a girl on Day 1, or praising it for not getting another girl for a week afterwards?
  12. It's just that those posts are mostly parroting by players - not a trusted source for answers (without providing their source, of course). Then again, if they (the questions) are too deep into mechanics, developers might not want to divulge the information, in the first place, but it's "devs might" vs "players can't". "50% of something is better than 100% of nothing". Usually worth the try.
  13. Would you be able to provide a source on that? That sounds like event girls either have their own counter or don't have any, to begin with, both of which raise their own questions.
