Unable to watch some of the profiles

Some of the ingame profiles are unable to be watched. Can't see any characteristic feature of why it happens and why ones are ok to watch and the others are not. 🤨

Hmm, would these happen to be random people from Arena? Can I get a screenshot?

Yes, I noticed it after the last patch.

If you really want to see some profiles of people from the tower of fame you can always view the html code with the view-source option of your browser and search for the gameid of the player you are interested.

Example: player name Jonasan, player id 71173

Then you only have to open his profile plage:

@Darsca It happens in league, arena and leaderboard. For example an affected player profile is Alucard.

this way you can see the profile, but if you look him in the leaderboard, and try to open from there, it seem the button for harem and profile pages are disabled.

I can't really add anything substantive to the question of what's actually gone wrong here, so I'll just add two more players from my league who are also affected:

Haze (280199)
Regdul (409952)

As jelom said it does work like this with the public profile links, but not with the in-game view.

Basically the stats/harem profile buttons appear to be completely disabled for such players.

On a working player account:

On non-working players the buttons look the same but there's no mouse focus when you hover over them and the tooltips also don't appear.

@Тёмный Властелин Thanks. The way you initially described it made me think you were clicking on bot accounts in the Arena, but yeah, this is a totally new one on me. Appreciate the video.

When the bug happens, the hero avatar images are in the front layer and the buttons get in the back layer, so when you try to click you are doing it in the images of the player avatar (they are a transparent square reaching up to the buttons). So the problem happens only when some backgrounds are used where the hero avatar is in that position.

I found a user profile in the club that I can't access, I made a recording with Windows Step Recorder that I'll include as a zip file (step recorder of user profile not accessible in the club.zip), the file inside is: Recording_20200713_0439.mht

Below I've added the file hashes so you can see that the file is correct and be sure it's mine.

Found another 2 "private" profiles from contest. Screenshot of it being in contest will be added. It is the same like the other guys have already mentioned, button isnt working but html is.

Besides that, i am confused about this  1st and 2nd place´s points at that overhauled contest but for this i will make a seperate thread.

I've done some tries and I've found that the alfa part of some item images (e.g. the flashing hand) can cover the profile button if the body of the hero is on the left and big. But this technique is completely useless if you look for the player id in the source.
