  1. Maybe a lot of movement during the 31 minutes that remained after the screenshot. If not, those are indeed exceptionally low scores for 11-time winner darkone and (especially) 27-time winner Gnussyking.
  2. I'm not sure if people would be too happy getting 1-mojo bots here.
  3. Yes, and it applies to the two champions with a charm girl as well when they manage to crit. I'm guessing that's kind of also where the current bug in regular PvP comes from, although I have no idea how exactly they got from "extra defense = half your own attack" in champions to "extra defense = half the opponent's damage" in PvP. Edit: I just saw you've come to pretty much the same conclusion in the leagues thread already.
  4. Charm Narcissism in champion battles has been changed, it now provides extra defense equal to half your attack value rather than equal to 1x your defense. And still for two rounds, but it doesn't stack, so the second round can be wasted if there's another Charm girl that triggers Narcissism independently. That means Narcissism now provides defense on stage 5 again, although the base defense for those battles remains at zero. (In addition, the display of the separate Narcissism activations is horribly bugged right now. The changes in the displayed defensive values are correct, though.)
  5. The presumably buggy halving of the damage happens before the first orgasm, too.
  6. I won't complain about taking 3rd place with only 22.04, but wow, that bracket turned out much less competitive for the top 4 spots than it looked going in. Anyway, the less said, the better. Lost all 3 to super-bugged and perma-boosted wong7lee, lost two out of three to slightly bugged and perma-boosted Fiel (one crit needed in 5 rounds with a 23% chance, only got it once - would have all been safe wins without the stats bug), and lost two out of three to perma-boosted but normally beatable Shibari thanks to the sudden appearance of the charm bug yesterday. Everybody else I managed to catch off boosts eventually, the last mid-level scrub only during the last few hours of the season though. Top 15 by class: 3x KH, Ch, KH, KH, Ch, KH, Ch, KH, HC, KH, HC, HC, Ch. Prize cutoffs: 15th 5858, 16th 5848 (19.49), 30th 5258, 31st 5204 (17.35).
  7. It's not about guaranteed rewards at all. We know that there's luck involved with turning orbs into girls, but in the long run, more orbs = more girls. I collected 26 epic orbs from this Mythic Days, and I don't particularly care if I get 5 girls or 0 from them. But I know that, if I keep doing this every month, I'm very likely to get close to the long-run average of 1 girl per 15 orbs, so eventually each Mythic Days will be worth about 1.5 to 2 girls to me from the Epic orbs alone.* Or more specifically, it will save me kobans I would otherwise end up spending on x10 rolls to get those same girls at some point. (I'm ignoring the Mythic orbs in my personal accounting since I have much fewer opportunities to use those than blaa does.) * Edit: Okay, maybe more like 1-1.5 girls, since the 26 orb drops were probably on the lucky side themselves, and I don't expect to replicate that next month.
  8. The only two scenarios to consider here are: 1) Spend a large amount of kobans to go after Bunna, and collect a ton of orbs worth (on average) several more girls along the way. 2) Ignore Mythic Days, spend 0 kobans and collect 0 girls both directly and indirectly. There is no actual scenario in which it was even possible to spend kobans for Bunna only. It's not about "pleasing his mind" at all, it's about making an informed decision taking into account all the spending and all the returns. I can't help but get the impression that the large price tag of 15-20k kobans / 2.5-3.5k nubans made you make up your mind from the start and not even consider the possibility that it might be worthwhile to do for people who can afford it. Would blaa, I and others like us randomly dump that same amount of kobans into a boss just to get orbs? Of course not. We're saving up exactly for opportunities like Mythic Days, where time-limited girls are available on top of the "normal" rewards. All that does not mean that I was actually happy with how the event worked. The limited shards pool idea sucks hard, and the unannounced surprise of a lower drop rate than the usual 10% wasn't much better. But another incentive to do more boss battles for girls? Ever since epic orbs were added to them, that's very, very, welcome in my book.
  9. Sorry, but blaa is perfectly correct, considering he would have had to spend the same kobans to battle another villain as well if he had wanted to get that amount of orbs from them.
  10. It was a very strange way of saying "buy the season pass".
  11. If only the halving bug gets fixed but the added narcissism effect from beta/omega girls stays, I suspect Charm has just become KH's equal for league play.
  12. Follow-up, I think I've figured out what's going on: They apparently tried to change/fix the Narcissism crit so that it benefits from the defense added by the beta and omega girls, but something went horribly wrong in the process. (At least I assume it's not intentional...) Apparently, after correctly reducing my damage by 17,452 to 87,520, that remaining value was then halved on top of it. Same for the carryover, now with beta in: This player had a beta strength of 5605, so her defensive contribution was 1.75 * 5605 = 9809. The expected damage with Narcissism (based only on the alpha defense, as was the case until today) was 44,537 as mentioned. If we additionally subtract 9809 from that, we get 34,728. And again halved to 17,364. Kinkoid, WTF?
  13. Public service announcement: Something in today's patch(?) seems to have massively screwed with the strength of Charm's Narcissism crit. A player with 17,452 defense just hit me for 61,212 damage reduction on the first hit and another 44,625 on the carryover. (I lost unexpectedly to another charm player before that, which tipped me off that something was amiss.) A screenshot from a battle that went normally, this is my orgasm hit on the third turn: In another battle, the opponent got Narcissism on the same hit: That should have been about 87,520, not 43760. In that battle, my fourth hit with the opponent's Narcissism still in effect: And the fifth hit, now with the correct expected damage: The fourth hit should have been for 44,537, not 17364. Edit: Here's the player in question:
  14. My luck picked up somewhat after the early 660 battles. Final totals: 1532 battles costing 15694 kobans, for a 6.53% drop rate. Along the way: 81 tickets (5.3%, pretty normal), 26 EpPx1 orbs (1.70%, very lucky if this was set to the usual ~1%), 130 MyPx1 orbs (8.49%).
  15. You mean like jelom's white J on green? That's the default avatar that modern versions of this forum engine generate automatically for newly created accounts. I'm not even sure if it's possible to return to that default on an account that already had a "proper" avatar uploaded, but even if it is, it's a moot point as long as changing avatars is completely disabled by the forum admin panel in the first place.
  16. My stats so far: 13:00h: 200 battles with 8 shards (4.0%), 9 tickets, 3 EpP orbs, 18 MyP orbs 21:00h: 460 battles with 25 shards (5.4%), 24 tickets, 6 EpP orbs, 43 MyP orbs That's without using x10's (no gold card nowadays). Should've done more during the first cycle, at the rate the shards went away during the second one I'm not gonna make it all the way with singles. Barring a sudden fit of insomnia I'm skipping the 05:00h cycle.
  17. If it's any consolation, even people who are able to hit all three timers in the day won't get her without dumping kobans like a maniac.
  18. The 50,000 shards lasted just about 60 minutes on HH.com, while on Nutaku 40,000 shards lasted around 70 minutes.
  19. D3 with 101 players: Fiel KH 461 37 wins wong7lee KH 460 3 wins Shibari Ch 458 1 win Totor Ch 456 2nd place x1 Jotabe HC 455 13th place x3 overload100 Ch 452 4th place x5 McLobo KH 451 3rd place x2 Docteurng HC 450 5th place x2 sban HC 448 19th place x3 ... mcjr KH 443 4th place x1 demon__J KH 443 2nd place x1 Altair KH 442 3rd place x2 Vercingémanix KH 430 2nd place x3 Blah Ch 430 4th place x1 (also 17 D2 wins) Oops KH 422 3rd place x1 I lost to Fiel by 171 points four weeks ago, and to wong7lee by 60 another four weeks before that, so those two are certainly/probably out of my range. I don't think I've seen Shibari in nearly half a year; back then we shared one bracket in which I didn't compete for top 4's, and in another I beat them by over 100 points despite a 33-level gap. (The 1 D3 win was on their tally even back then already.) Several more decent top 4 candidates in there, but I'm hoping to get a fairly safe 3rd place here, 4th at minimum. The low levels: At level 434 I'm in a two-way tie for 23rd this week. Median 419.
  20. That went pretty much as expected: 22.28 average; I didn't optimize too much but what I left on the table was surely much less than the sizable gap to the winner's 22.53. I was a bit surprised by how uncompetitive third place and beyond turned out. It's not like I expected more 22+ scores, but not even a 21.50? Pretty good field overall though, with very few players having screwed-up squads and/or low club bonuses. Somehow I managed to catch all players at levels 425 and above unboosted early on (including shin, who gave up a window the first day already), so without any remaining threat of potentially losing battles, for the first time in many months I could afford to skip the 4 cordyceps boost cycle and use a second 2 ginseng / 2 cordyceps setup instead. I still ended up having to do two lower-level players while they were on boosts - one started boosting shortly before the end of November, the other one right at the start of December, so probably Seasons-related. Not that that made any difference to my final placement either, so whatever. Top 15 by class: 3x KH, Ch, HC, Ch, KH, Ch, KH, Ch, Ch, KH, HC, HC, Ch. Prize cutoffs: 15th 5733, 16th 5699 (18.81), 30th 5190, 31st 5147 (16.99). The other two previous D3 winners toriko73 and Ludovicosarda finished 15th and 99th, respectively. IIRC the latter had several D2 wins on his profile as well, so his demoting wasn't too much of a surprise. (The score was, though: 16 points. The highest demoting player had 1979.) Edit: Ah, and it was a majorly lucky week on crits. For the longest time I was averaging around 4.8 points per opponent, way higher than my long-term average of 4.2. It did come down a bit near the end, but 4.46 is still my highest score ever on that front. Compared to my all-time low of 3.97 three weeks ago that's nearly a 50-point swing just on luck. (Caveat: Of course some opponent fields may be easier or harder to crit against in general, that's virtually impossible to quantify.)
  21. Even waiting for just one day to start into the new season has already been enough to move my potential opponent selections into "creampuff" territory entirely: Leaving aside that I was still boosted at the time of the screenshot (they just expired now), opponents of that caliber are easily beatable for me even unboosted. Admittedly that was one of the easiest sets of opponents I just had in my 10 battles, but the others were only marginally more challenging. Anyway, what I actually wanted to mention is that I saw multiple different opponents at level 369 in these last 30 opponents, several others just a bit higher but none lower. (434 - 369) / 434 = .1498 - maybe the level range is in fact ±15% now? Or perhaps not. I just did some gratuitous opponent refreshing on that level 231 alt account, and the lowest I observed was a single opponent at level 196 (-15.15%), while the highest was at 253 (+9.52%). I suppose it would actually make sense if the range isn't symmetrical...
  22. There are tens of thousands of players in the game who don't get anywhere near an "extreme amount of Kobans from league", and there are also tens of thousands of players (not necessarily the same people) who won't find it quite so easy to reach tier 50 as you assume. Kinkoid have simply chosen to retarget the battle pass at those players rather than the minority of high-level veterans and scattered other "serious" players who would have felt compelled to buy it mainly for the XP last month, or the equally limited number of "gotta catch them all" players who just couldn't go without the second girl. Anyway, I'm not actually in that new target audience, but as far as I'm concerned the pass offers better value than the gold card, and so I will be purchasing it again this month (while sticking to a silver card instead of the gold I used to have).
  23. Some additional performance numbers: Just over 10,000 players made it all the way to tier 45: Another 11,000 or so managed to reach tier 35 for the girl(s): Altogether over 130,000 accounts accessed the feature at some point: That includes a ton of almost completely inactive ones, though. That account still had 1022 mojo about an hour earlier, and was ranked in the 94,000s with that, only minimally above the starting score, so there were 40,000+ accounts that did basically nothing. (And I suspect there's another 20,000+ still barely active ones below 2000 mojo.) Interestingly, that player total of ~134,000 vastly exceeded the numbers seen over at the Nutaku server: That was a bit surprising; the player totals on the old weekly rankings didn't diverge nearly as much. I suspect the standalone server is the destination of the majority of people who are newly finding the game nowadays, while most people with Nutaku accounts have already tried the game at some point.
  24. I really don't think "getting out of the way" is necessary. I just did one winning battle, which pushed my mojo from 10,005 to 10,026, and I passed more than a thousand people on the ranking (from 9,6xx to 8,5xx) just with those 21 points. In other words, there's a ton of people parked at 10k, and the vast, vast majority of them appear to be unboosted based on what I've seen in past days cycling my score up and down around the 10k mark.
  25. Made it. I won't bother with that account for the December season, but I'll probably experiment a bit with my main instead, specifically by letting the permaboosted leading edge move away for a few days before I start battling.
