  1. Expected top 4 are expected: 22.28 average, one of my lesser efforts in recent months, but as mentioned I didn't go super-serious on the optimizations this time, particularly not on trying to match opponents and booster sets. It didn't help that I picked up my worst-ever average on points from crits and position effects (3.97 per opponent), which alone was about 25 points short of an average week. Pretty small margin between Oliver and me, though I suspect it's also because of him playing very well and not only me being sub-standard. Not that it mattered, the gap to 5th place was huge as expected. I had to do three opponents while they were on boosters, winner Fiel as well as two mid-rank players around level 425. Could have been worse with Seasons going on. Top 15 by class: 4x KH, Ch, Ch, KH, HC, KH, HC, Ch, Ch, HC, Ch, Ch. 15th place 5685 points, 16th place 5647 (19.01), 30th place 5179, 31st place 5140 (17.31).
  2. Just out of curiosity, what player level are you at on that new account now after the week?
  3. There are? I doubt it, both relative to the number of highly engaged 400+ players and relative to their respective group sizes (i.e. engaged sub-400's / all sub-400's vs engaged 400+'s / all 400+'s). But inasmuch as they exist, whether in "large numbers" or otherwise... ...have you considered the possibility that it might be because they've had to play catch-up due to the messy first couple of days? And, what do you think "catching up" means here? All it does is "put lower- and higher-level players on a more or less even footing in competing for the prizes". As far as I can tell, Seasons is doing that, at least after the various quick tweaks they've done. You've presented no such case yet. At the end of the month it won't matter at all if somebody has reached tier 35/45 as the first player, as the 100th player, or as the 5000th player. All you're doing here is to buy into the dick-measuring narrative that it matters how quickly somebody gets there. Maybe wait until you actually have some facts about lower-level players having failed to obtain the expected rewards rather than engage in wild conjecture based on the flimsiest of evidence?
  4. Obviously the girl(s) at tier 35 is/are the main prize, I don't think the intention was ever that getting all the way to tier 45 should be easy to do for the great majority of players. Anyway, there are over 5000 players at level 400+, so I'm not quite sure why you're trying to use a list of only 200 extremely engaged players to determine how much better high-level players are likely to do compared to mid- and low-level ones. Those top 200 will be getting the girls within 18 or so days and tier 45 within ~23, plenty of time after that for thousands more to get there, and I'm pretty sure that will include a sizable number of non-veterans. And in future seasons it might be easier yet due to the mooted soft resets starting off everybody higher than 1000 mojo. (Leaving aside that the difference in rewards going from tier 35 to 45 really isn't large to begin with, and that most people who fail to get to 45 will at least be picking up some of that difference anyway.)
  5. The OP is pretending to be spokesperson of players who somehow don't have any 5* legendary girls to begin with though and thus "need" 3* legendaries for PvP. I don't know how that's possible especially now that Legendary Contests exist where 5* legendaries are utterly trivial to obtain for lower-level players in particular, but maybe the OP is an especially bad player and thinks of himself as the norm. (He certainly seems to think something of himself, because sane people wouldn't be rehashing such utterly bad feedback after getting shown up six ways from Sunday the previous time.)
  6. Wait, what? I'd be very curious what player level and current mojo total you're at. That sounds like you must be having a ridiculously small pool of possible opponents (both pre- and post-patch).
  7. Yeah, you've misinterpreted the purpose of the new "leaderboard". It's a dick-measuring contest, nothing more. Nothing of actual value can be won there.
  8. You've reached tier 12 after 9 days, and I'm guessing that's really 7 days due to how screwed up the first two were, and you don't think you'll hit tier 35 after 29?
  9. There's just no getting around the fact that the league system got fucked for good when the level cap was raised beyond 400. I mean, I'm at level 430 now after two and a half years, and I have half the XP required for level 500.
  10. Not only. There's some weird sorting going on, where (IIRC) rare and epic girls are listed together first, and are internally ordered by mission girl / troll girls / pachinko girls (and by ID within each group), and then all legendary girls come last, only ordered by ID (and not by location). Apparently it was programmed without taking into account the possibility that legendary girls might ever show up somewhere other than the pachinkos. Also, I believe the sorting treats numbers as strings, which is just weird, e.g. you could get an order like 115, 31, 53, 9. (The sorting of girls in the pachinko works the same way.)
  11. On the low-level players topic - I've reactivated a level 229 alt account for seasons. It's quite old, but only has 5* common girls available to battle with, and has almost no market stats upgrades. I started doing Seasons there one week late, so currently I'm only at tier 6, but in the two and a half days I've played on there I've had absolutely no trouble finding beatable opponents in every selection, most often for 22+ mojo, too. We'll see how it goes once I move a little closer to the competitive edge of the field, if such a thing exists at that low level.
  12. FWIW, I've already seen both -42 and +31 since the patch came in.
  13. You've been playing for, what, a couple of weeks? If you're feeling the need to "suggest" changes to long-established game mechanics that nobody else has an issue with, while you've barely even learned anything about the game yet*, "duh" is still on the more lenient end of the spectrum of my potential responses. Additionally it doubles as a warning klaxon to the rest of the forum, in that I suspect you're going to become a really, really obnoxious newbie very soon. (Your whiny "random crap" follow-up comment just now was a great step in that direction!) Anyway, the only relevant explanation was already given by MCP: It works that way because Kinkoid want it to work that way. Don't like it? Tough. * Hint: All the other pachinko modes are more expensive on a per-girl basis. But based on this... ...I guess that's right up your alley. More kobans for less, hurray!
  14. Indeed, this is a player who should be encouraged to spend as many kobans as possible on Epic single spins. Because the x10 spin is explicitly the no-gambling option, duh. (Leaving aside that the price point would be higher than 5400 kobans if multiple girls were possible to drop.)
  15. There were no Epic pachinko orbs to be won in the arena.
  16. Erm, no, I have (well, had) no losses because I know how to work the PvP mechanics to my favour. The vast majority of the people I've defeated, at least 80%, had better stats than me, often significantly so, even with me on boosters. The only saving grace is that my level range is effectively capped at +30, since there's only a handful of players more than 30 levels up from me. I'm pretty sure the complaint being raised here isn't even one about actual flaws in the Seasons battle mechanics, but simply one of a wannabe whale who can't whale as hard as he wants to. To wit: There's no conceivable reason to want to be listed on the top 200 list other than trying to show off one's epeen. This is about nothing but the "problem" that high-level players can whale harder because there are more of them and they can bounce off each other to drive up their mojo scores, same as what used to happen in small mojo bubbles in the arena. (The claim makes no sense anyway, since those high level players Sex&Zen is chasing are obviously also spending tons of kobans to have mojo totals that are impossible to obtain on natural regen of kisses. Dear whale, that was the whole fucking point of mentioning my lower natural-regen-only score.) Edit: On a side note, it looks like the first player may be obtaining the Seasons girls before the feature is even a week old; only 500 mojo points remaining for the current "leader".
  17. Some people are beyond help. Edit: Just for reference for other people reading along: My score consists of 137 wins and zero losses. (With at least 15 close calls by now that I was lucky enough to all win anyway.) Yet the guy who's nearly 200 points ahead of me is complaining that it's all being too hard and he can't advance...
  18. What the OP means is that the defense value shown in Seasons is a combination of the alpha-only min value for HC and the alpha/beta/omega max value for KH, which is clearly not correct.
  19. I'm seriously doubting the percentage Kinkoid's dev gave there - if I had a chance to meet opponents that low, I sure wouldn't be offered opponents that are both at least 90% boosted and 90% higher in level than I am. At the very least, if the span is really that large, then opponents closer in mojo are highly prioritized; the opponents I've had since Wednesday that offered less than 14 mojo points can be counted on one hand, even though there must be hundreds/thousands of potential choices lower than that (and still within the level range and within -25% mojo).
  20. There are over 5000 players with level 400+ on the server (probably 4000+ of them active), it's hardly surprising that there are a couple hundred extremely committed veteran players among them who are monopolizing the very top spots right now. Doesn't mean it will be impossible for others to progress far enough to get the girl. I would say so, yes. Look at it like this: There are some 3000 players who are competing in Dicktator 3 in the leagues, most of them with a level of 400+. And at least based on my current league bracket I would say that at least half of those 3000 are boosting very rarely or not at all. All those unboosted high-level players must be somewhere in Seasons as well, but probably not at tier 9/10/11 right now, but more likely somewhere in 7/8. It should be relatively easy to ride up to tier 35 with those people by the end of the month. Tier 45 might not be possible that way, but I honestly don't think that should be the goal. (I'm talking about level 400+ because that's the crowd I'm familiar with. But the same ought to hold true for e.g. players between 350 and 400. At the bleeding edge you'll have a lot of permaboosters, a bit further down you should be finding a large mass of people who are progressing less aggressively.)
  21. I'm not sure I understand. Could you post a screenshot of the values you think are wrongly displayed?
  22. That's not what I meant.
  23. You've got to tier 10 in only 5 days (out of 29 available), and the main prize is at tier 35. What's the rush? Take some losses if your current opponent environment is too hard. After the changes they made on Wednesday, there's now plenty of time to ride up to tier 35 as part of a less competitive bubble of opponents, say, 500 points behind the bleeding edge.
  24. Are you sure this is the right game for you? Seems like a nice relaxing visual novel or something would be more up your alley if any sort of battling feature that's actually challenging makes it onto your list of despised game aspects. Also, "we" -> "I".
