  2. I have had a bit of a think about the patch and I basically agree with @jelom's summary and with most others here except on 2 points. First. I am not thrilled about more GP orbs. We get so many orbs at high levels. Cashing 250 GP orbs for POA day 2 is a pain. KK provides zero tools to deal with the resulting item-storm. Cashing 258 is a little worse with little prospect of any gain. Second. I like the 1 stars more than I thought I would so getting more of them is if not fantastic maybe good, goodish? - yes they are useless. - yes I cry for the effort the artists put in. If instead of doing 5 1 star girls they put up a poll and asked us which 1 existing girl they should re-do that would be fantastic. I would pay kobans to vote in such a poll. - If the shard distribution between girls is flat vs "leaders agro" we can say goodbye to completing them. + I like having the occasional 10 shard drop when I am forced/choose to fight a boss I have completed.
  3. Just hit 600 so I thought, "I'll see if Chit Chat is the right place to post." Yup. So here it is: 18 today between 2xx GPx10 and about 180 EPx1.

  5. Tuning this is harder than I thought. The first champ was kind of a mess as everybody in my club figured stuff out. There was a lot of non-optimal play and "me 1st" grabbing so a few (5?) members got the girl and the rest got very few shards. For the second champ we sorted a few things and reduced the grabbing but some members have given up so the we had a lot of "failed to defeats" and only 3 or 4 members got the girl. This champ is hard because he is too easy. The same crew that was failing to complete champ 2 is doing champ 3 in 6 hrs with the jets off. We are now having problems that some members miss the entire fight because it is over so fast. I am going to propose a guideline that members pause fighting when they get to 10 good fights worth of impression and resume once hour 20 comes around.
  6. I like the dating tokens. There are always situations where you end up with some shards on a girl. I saved a 10 shard MyP orb for ages because I screwed up and left an event girl with 96 and she never appeared again. Doh! Nice safety net, nice flexibility. Thanks KK. My thinking is that rather than rarity influencing where I use dating tokens I might use annoyance. Nike will be brutal on level 3 by the time you get her level 3 girl close to 100. Maybe a better idea is just get 1 shard and then use dating tokens? Or fight her until you start to lose and then switch to DTs?
  7. Yooohooo! Got my 1st back. Now I look dangerous again. No just before reset screen-shot because I like my sleep. I had a fair bit of luck with catching the higher levels unboosted. I only had to fight one annoying player (L411 HC) unboosted who ran a constant setup with ++offense, ----defense, ++ego. It is a very non-optimal setup but it does a good job of reducing the points I can get.
  8. Well, back to "normal". No screenshot because I like my sleep. After my wretched D3 2 weeks ago I was more invested this time. 2 weeks ago I did 21.74 and finished 11th. Last week I did 21.89 and finished 3rd. What difference 45 points makes! I am moving up level-wise just due to survivor bias. 12th - 20th seems to be my current band.
  9. @DvDivXXX, @DHarry, @Bomba Congrats all!! Just so you know I am claiming a portion of each of these achievements because it was obviously done with my luck. I finished 11th. And that is with trying and making only 1 error. I have to go back 31 weeks to find a worse finish. Seriously though, you da bomb(s).
  10. I worry about the club dynamics as well. In my club we have a large range of levels 161 - 458. Most of the heavy hitters who have dropped the girl continue to participate but at a lower level. A few have stopped participating. It is getting really tight to complete the champ. If one or two more drop out it will not be possible without heavy koban use. Personally I am right on the cusp. I have 94 on Kumiko. I am not sure when Chad started but if he rotates out at the next reset (end Feb) I will probably be short. I am hoping KK will tweak CC like they did Seasons. Losing 100% after 24 hours seems harsh. Across all the members that is 400-600 tickets and usually around 1000 kobans. I would like to see the decay reduced from 100% to 30% and I would like to see the post drop reward scale with contribution, i.e. one reward for each 5%.
  11. 121 for Rabbi last rotation, 97 for Victoria this rotation. That is 2 girls in 218 orbs, more like what I expect from MyPx1, maybe a little unlucky. I gained about 30 orbs in the two days so I am only down 70 in my 1x stash. And just like Rabbi I am very happy to have Victoria.
  12. And that is what they call regression to the mean boys and girls. After many, many lucky visits to Mythic Pachinko the horseshoes must have fallen out of my ass. My last 20-30 MyP girls were only costing me 10-30 orbs each. I was to a point where if the girl took more than 35 1x orbs I was giving the RNG the stink eye. Rabbi took 121 orbs. Its all good. My MyP is usually empty, I have over 130 orbs left, I picked up 13 purple cordy. I would have paid more for Rabbi. I am an unabashed Carrott fan.
  13. I have just realized this is part of a trend. All my current major pain points in the game are because KK has been mostly taking away flexibility lately. LC: You must play just before reset or pay a snipeless penalty. 15 min forced. MD: You must play after the 4 times shards are dropped, 2 of which are the reset. 2 hrs forced. Club Champs: You must play once somebody starts the champ. 1 min forced every 15 min for 8ish hours. TOF no more snapshot: Once every 6 hours at a time of your choice may not work any more. Seasons bucks the trend. Play when you want in a 10 hour window.
  14. I agree with a most of what has been already posted: New quest: Auto join, 21 days: Allows for a LOT more hording of fists to win contests. Fortunately I am in a timezone that makes it near impossible to win contests so it will just make other peoples lives more complicated. 1 star: My condolences to the artists. I think an emphasis on reducing the quantity and focusing on excellence would have been a better use of resources. Random snapshots in TOF: One of the big things I love about seasons is it killed the 50 min arena timer. Yes!! Unfortunately Club Champions put a 15 min timer back in the game. Nooooooooooooooo! At least it is only every second day and only if you do not have the girl. Now random snapshots? Check once an hour? 10 min to go through 100 opponents? The random snapshots has increased the mins/day, eliminated any safe time to put the game away and do RL, and has not made the game more fun. This is not a rage quit threat but this is the first thing that has made me re-evaluate my enjoyment to effort ratio.
