  1. Now, that's just bad for business! Didn't the Madam warn him against scaring her customers away by now? ^^ I don't doubt the ol' geezer is a great tipper, but still... It's not like she can stay afloat by serving nothing but rabbit pie and carrot-scented whisky to him and his deputies all year long.... Plus, she's probably too scared to run too polite to tell him, but... in a town with more deputies than inhabitants, the ladies are pretty damn frozen in fear safe already, ya know... ^^ --- Anyways, you wouldn't happen to have the Wolf's screenshot of our encounter handy, would you? I don't think he ever sets foot around here, but I'm sure he collects trophies like all good serial killers troopers. Could you ask him for a copy? I'd really like to know if he beat me by one point or two.
  2. Damn. Thanks for reminding me (too late for poor @garadron though). I've been focusing on trying to squeeze a bit more value out of the current PvE one before it expires tomorrow, but I hadn't checked which variant of PoV was next. I guess I might hold on to my Kisses a bit longer. --- I still haven't received Elysa on my account. I'm beginning to wonder if they're just a bit later than usual with the credits, or if maybe she was one of the very few girls I've unlocked in HCL after the deadline... In which case I might need those Kisses much more than I thought!
  3. You never know... Will I go out of my way to grab the MPx3s? Nah (especially since in my situation they're worth a lot less, as I have no girl left to get from MP... unless when "Pachinko 2.0" happens they convert to something better for me, maybe). Can I still reach 2k points on this reward track in the next two and a half days even without really trying? Sure. Tasks are so unpredictable and they vary so much in annoyance difficulty. I mean, I had a "spend cash" one that I thought was for 200M, but no it was for 200k! As in a single spin of GPx1 was already way more than needed to complete it. ^^ That's crazy fast and easy. And then there are tasks like "burn 248 kobans on market refreshes", "claim 10 daily missions again!", "spend 150 gems again!" (always followed by "do a couple of awakenings", of course ^^), "Win 30 fights in Season" (always followed by "earn a bunch of Mojo", obviously ^^) or "do 10 Pantheon fights again!" and more, which are all kinds of pain in the ass.... Funnily enough, for once that I had actually held on to almost all of my "10 random shards" rewards from HA along with unclaimed girls on Season specially for the pesky "Gain 50 shards" and/or "Get a new girl" tasks... I got exactly one of each in total (so far). And I was already far enough on the DP reward track itself that just claiming Chiyo was enough for both. ^^
  4. Yup. Shards cost 4 SM coins apiece (at least for legendary ones, not sure if that's lower for lower rarities, but no one should ever spend SM coins on anything less than an L5 anyway). So 40 coins for 10 shards, and 240 for 60 indeed. Ninja'd by Bolitho!
  5. I think she was an event girl (from way way back when they still had events on HCL), but I honestly don't remember for sure. I only ever grabbed a couple of Gacha exclusives and I'm almost certain she wasn't one of them. HCL is crashing at the slightest hint of lag for me these days (and it always had a fair bit of lag to begin with), so I couldn't check much.
  6. Just the X. "Go!" just takes you to the monthly subscription page of the real-money shop. They're still working under the amazing assumption that we are seeing ads when we're not paying for a monthly card, so they're trying to tempt those imaginary players without any ad-blocker on their browser with the "perk" of not spamming them with ad banners, basically. ^^ Ironically, this is the first somewhat intrusive popup I've ever seen in this game... But it's pretty harmless and I don't want to burst their bubble either.
  7. Wow, that's pretty rude for a learned Lady Rabbit such as yourself, don't you think? Not even a smiley or a quick English translation to show you're taunting? Seriously though, please don't post just in French on the EN forum (it's okay to include the French text too when it's short, but we need an English version too). Edit: Here it could be: "The boss will kick your ass!"
  8. On a more positive note than my close loss in league, I grabbed myself one of these super elusive red light bulbs from that CbC day 3 for once: Not too fierce of a competition, and I needed a bunch of points to maintain my top 5% in HA anyway. Pretty nice. This feels strange! ^^ I'm so used to getting a couple of epic light bulbs when I try, and a couple of rare ones when I don't try, (which is objectively better and really shouldn't be, but eh, that ship has sailed I guess)...
  9. ------------------ D3 run #184 2024/02/08-15 (Spade Week 3 - got her now) Only a top 4 this time: I'd be curious to see a last-minute screenshot, but unless my calculations were wildly off (the script estimation missed 25 points I've lost at some point so I stopped relying on it, but I still monitored both our scores and I'm pretty sure I got it right), I've lost by either 1 or 2 points. The perfect score in our group (303 fights) was 7,575. I was 68 points short of that, and ThunderWolf had already lost 66 points at the time I took my latest screenshot (and many hours before that) and he had 3 fights left. All I needed him to do was lose 2 points (or more) on that final opponent. I knew he would wait until like 12:58 to play those fights in case the opponent suddenly showed a weaker team or lost their booster or something, and I was otherwise busy so instead of biting my nails pointlessly for over an hour and a half I decided I'd find out later which of us got lucky. Turned out it was him. He must have either scored a perfect 75 or at least 74 points on that last opponent. 73 would have exactly matched my score (giving me the win because I reached it first), and anything lower than that would have been a clear win for me... OH WELL. V_v Damn Rabbits and their last minute shenanigans. ^^ I mean, congrats for the win, ThunderWolf! This was pretty close, even though with the abundance of strong Reflect defense teams, we both lost quite a few points to RNG. I also had to fight many perma-boosted opponents, and my usual trick of equipping 4 chlores for a whole day to mitigate my losses to Reflect didn't go so well this time. That "25-25... 20!" against TW himself was quite crushing, I must say. Honestly, 23-23-24 would have felt better (same amount of points in total, but no false hope of scoring a perfect as RNGeez gave me in this case ^^). Anyways. In case that wasn't enough, for this new league that just started I'm with the King of Rabbits himself (@Ol Sheriff Joe), in what appears to be an otherwise relatively weak group, so I'll go for as chill of a top 4 as I can. Unless the Old Boy is feeling generous and willing to cut a bit of slack to a lone ranger who had a long and tiring journey to visit his town? Good luck have fun this week, folks. Stay safe!
  10. Elysa at long last. She's a classic. I have her fully maxed in HCL. I'm hoping they won't take too long to credit her to my account thanks to having her in my legacy HCL collection, as I have a ton of stashed Kisses (that I had in case this KC was for a girl I never caught in HCL). I'd rather get more books from my season fghts than shards for her that won't amount to anything once I get her in full. Usually these credits are done within a couple of hours after the KC starts. Good luck have fun to everyone else.
  11. Save a bunch as a last resort. The odds of getting a girl from each EvP orb are only 22.5% (maybe even 22.25%? I can't remember for sure, but it's less than 1/4 chance). So if you have at least half a dozen or so, you have a decent shot at grabbing at least one girl from them (possibly more, if you're lucky). If you just use one, you have more than a 77% chance to drop none.
  12. Sure, we've all been there. I've been playing this game daily for 4.5 years by now, and I've finished completely emptying my OD/MP pool only a few months ago. Rome wasn't built in a day. ^^ You'll get there sooner or later. Some parts of the game simply dry out eventually, if you keep at it long enough (and with a solid enough method). If they hadn't stopped adding a couple of new permanent EP girls through OD, I would at least still have these two new girls to look forward to. As it is now, OD is basically no longer an event for me, which is mostly a good thing for my overall progress, but it also has a few downsides (chief among them: MP no longer holds any girl for me either). Come to think of it, they've stopped adding new girls to the EP pool, period. Which is a blessing for players still working on these goals (emptying the EP pool and then eventually the OD/MP pool), but also a bit of a curse for end-game players who basically have nothing to do with them EP orbs but grabbing the CE girls each month. I wouldn't recommend this. Scratch that: I would strongly advise against doing this! Unless these 20 girls from the February OD pool happen to be the only ones you have left to get, you're just going to face another wall with next month's OD and so on. Not to mention, even worse, if you go about it this way, you're going to struggle for future CEs. Which defeats the purpose of grabbing a ton of girls from OD. What's your goal and what's your strategy to reach that goal? If it's the same as the vast majority of players in the long run with these pools, then there's no rush. It's much better to thin out the herd slowly but surely, a few at a time every month throughout the year, and then the following year you'll resume the exact same cycle again, but with a smaller pool to work on, rinse and repeat until you have no more girls left to get. That's what I did (and most other veterans who also have an empty pool by now; many of them long before me). The correct order is: Empty your permanent EP pool => Reach a point where you can clear CE every month reliably => Start working on emptying your remaining OD/MP pool. If you skip any of these steps, you'll never be done. I know you've already completed the first goal, emptying your EP pool, that's a great start. Now if you really want to do the same with your OD/MP pool eventually, then you really shouldn't burn everything you have on this random first OD event that happens to present itself after you've acquired a bunch of EP orbs. Keep those as a safety net to make sure you grab all new girls coming from CE every month from now on, so that they don't get added to your existing OD/MP pool first and foremost. Once the pool no longer grows, it can only get smaller and smaller as you go. If you let CE girls pass you by so that you can grab more old girls from OD, then you'll never empty your OD pool. If your goal isn't to empty your pool eventually and/or you just really really want all the past February girls for whatever reason, never mind. You do you in any case. As long as you're having fun.
  13. I recognize this artist's style, for sure. Certainly not one of the Greats, but still pretty good with a consistent output that has its own charm. I'd describe it as roughly halfway between the cartoon-y tendencies of Toon Dude and a more openly manga-influenced straightforward style. It's not what I prefer either (I'm much more into semi-realistic and very expressive stuff like Venus, New Dude or of course Ben used to churn out). But it's still quite solid and enjoyable in its own right. It's not like they have enough of the Greats left to handle all of the events, not even all of the M6s and L5s. With Ben and Venus gone, they only have Toon Dude (when he's not overworked and can actually give us his best) and New Dude who really stand out in the current roster. This is neither of them. I don't think this artist handled L5s before, mostly 3 stars, but no specific example comes to mind. I'll have to browse my harem a bit to find some. Although this will have to wait a bit. --- Damn, I forgot DP costs so many kobans. Between this and Radka's revival (at minimum), I'll need to be very careful not to spread myself too thin this month.
  14. Lucky you! ^^ My OD experience consisted in clicking on "Claim". As expected, and as predicted for the foreseeable future, unless they start adding new girls to the EP pool via OD again someday...
  15. I'm wondering as well. You should have a better grasp of the drop rates and the amount of fights you need to make on average to get serious about LD. Hint: 260 total fights for two girls is very far from that number. It's hardly enough even for just one. Complaining about bad RNG is one thing (you all know I'm not exactly fond of this type of posts, but that's another story). Doing nowhere near enough fights to have a decent shot at completing an event and still hoping it will somehow be enough (so basically hoping to get incredibly lucky?) is another. Do or don't. There is no try. And there is no point torturing yourself for not getting enough shards when you were obviously never going to with what little you were able to invest in it to begin with. I would strongly recommend you to play fewer events, so that you have enough resources to complete the ones you go for.
  16. It was a one-off thing. There were other mythics who had their art reworked or even partially remade, and it also led to a one-off gesture, but typically that meant one extra revival after the changes. So far, only MD Mala had this specific treatment of (most of) her old art being kept in the game by making an extra (free!) C5 out of it after the art changes. Hopefully they'll get around to reworking MD Neono eventually. It's by far the weakest art quality of any Mythic we have, and also the least consistent with the previous incarnations of the character. I'm honestly puzzled that there wasn't a lot of complaints and no rework at all for that one, considering they've reworked far, far better art like the two Mythics the artist Venus got to handle when she was still around. Or Ben's MD Titania which was more than fine before the rework.
  17. This is starting to look a lot like a Karx QA thread within Chit Chat... And dude, all the info you're asking for was already given in the only PoR thread (link) we have so far, which is still near the top of page 1 of this very sub-forum, shortly after the stickies... You even reacted to my comment specifically answering the question above back then... ^^ And the Paint job I made at the time was even clearer than yours or Bolitho's. ^^ Guess you forgot since then, but you could have checked the PoR thread before asking again here.
  18. No, no, that's a blunder on my part. My bad! ^^ I meant to say books (GXP items), not gifts (affection items). Good thing you've asked, because I only noticed my error when I read your post.
  19. That's normal. There's a pretty massive difference between "give XP to the girls" and "level up a girl". The two can work together, but they're still very different (and you can't optimize both at the same time). The higher the level, the more GXP it costs. So the most efficient way to play "level up a girl" is to rise up a bunch of girls from level 1 to level 250. That's very cheap in GXP (so it doesn't give much points for "give XP to the girls" tasks). Just spending GXP as a task is best done by throwing a ton of large affection items I meant books* (GXP items) at one or a few "big girls" like Mythics or at least L5s (so it doesn't cost you an arm and a leg in gems in the process, saving up gems for "spend gems" tasks). Obviously, it's shit for "level up a girl" tasks, though: you're paying a ton per level in that situation. --- Yeah, Radka is hot as hell. I want to grab her regardless because she's one of only a handful of M6s I'm still missing (and I've already been burned before, with the surprise, motherfucker! out of schedule unannounced Nike MDR).
  20. We already know, Kinkoid knows and is working on it. And there is already a thread for this in this subforum. Read the sticky before posting in Bug Reporting next time.
  21. "It is what it is." Honestly, I can't think of anything that could be exploitable... Except maybe just the ability to "undo" some progress if you weren't satisfied with your RNG or something. OH. Yeah okay. So I play a risky fight in League, I "re-roll" using this exploit until I get a perfect score from good RNG, then once that's the case I "save" the good result by logging out and back in from the relevant device to keep that score. I play 100 fights in MD, get no drop, I "re-roll" until I get a good amount of drops then I "save" using this "method", and then rinse and repeat until I get the MD girl for a tenth of the kobans she should cost me on average. Yeah, this sounds horribly tedious, risky and unreliable (as lots of bug exploits are anyway), but there's already multiple areas of the game in which abusing this can greatly reward players who do it. And it wouldn't be easy for Kinkoid to detect either (or even possible, in most cases), as there are tons of players doing sessions on multiple devices anyway, which is more often than not a legit and harmless use of the game (and in a non-negligible number of cases, it even leads to players missing out on progress they expected to stick). So it's not like they could just ban everyone who plays the game on more than one device... So yeah, I think we should point this out to Sandman directly (and by we I mean mostly the other mods who don't have my issue with Discord). At the very least, I'll ping Luna here for the record. Hi @Luna - Kinkoid, hope you're well, thanks for everything you're doing, sorry I don't visit Discord these days. There's a pretty concerning issue that can and might already be abused by players in the game. TL;DR: the way the games' sessions are currently handled (since Kinkoid games "don't support multi-sessions") a player can open multiple sessions at once essentially get infinite "re-rolls" of their results (for instance in Leagues, and on events with drops of girl shards such as MD) until they get the best possible RNG they can, and only log out and back in the proper way once they do. This also leads to a number of players who aren't looking to cheat at all getting their progress erased because they didn't log out and back in from Device X and Y in the correct order for the game to count their progress, inadvertently. But this has been the case for awhile. The prospect of players abusing this weakness to cheat might prove more concerning for the powers that be. Could you please forward this to Tech (if other mods haven't done so by the time you read this)? Thanks and please keep up the good work. <3
  22. Is your permanent EP pool empty? If not, I strongly recommend prioritizing that goal before using rare and precious orbs like these on CE or OD girls.
  23. Pretty sure Bacon came to the conclusion that "Impactful" actually applies to the entire team, even though it says "backline girls" in the description. "Attack from the Back" actually does what it says.
  24. That's a really good question, I've been wondering about this too. Conceptually, I think the mid line is meant to be the "safe" line. Direct attacks go to the front, and most indirect attacks go to the back (although they matter less as they're less frequent and not as predictable), whereas nothing the opponent can do targets the middle specifically. Mechanically, if things were working even remotely as intended, I've always assumed that the mid line is where girls with important skills go (primarily), and the idea of them replenishing mana faster than on the other lines seemed to match this hypothesis. This fell apart when I learned that what actually matters for mana is Hero Harmony, and not Girl Harmony, which is what they're offered as their main targeted buff. Honestly, it's just as plausible that they had the two ideas that work and make sense for which lines should be offered more defense and attack respectively, and then they were stuck with mid, and (girl) harmony as the remaining line and basic "stat" (skill), so they associated them too. Even though there isn't a clear and intuitive synergy between being on the safe lane and having a slightly higher chance to make a critical attack. I mean, there would be a clear synergy if crits triggered special skills in the Labyrinth instead of just doing double damage (as in other battle systems we already have). Or if Girl Harmony was increasing Speed or something to do with Mana. But, unless this is intended to do either (or both) and that's simply not apparent due to all the bugs in play... It doesn't seem to be the plan for the mid line.
  25. Since buffing (Girl) Harmony doesn't do anything in the current state of the feature, it doesn't matter anyway in this particular case. But it's funny regardless. I've had "choices" such as "buff one girl, two girls, or seven girls?" too. ^^
