I can sincerely appreciate someone taking an early position like that. It gives me all day to consider whether there is even a point in investing season or PoV rewards, or whether they are better saved for a daily later in the month. Although now that I've reached level 401, I expect reduced returns in the daily contests.

Here in our universe we can do family drama or workplace drama in real life every day. We still have lots of it on tv/streaming.

Note that Val Kalissa is also on Matsuda, with all the usual caveats for getting these shard drops from champions. Might be a decent option if you already have 65 or more shards for her from other sources.

Fair point. I may have come across a little too strong on the mythic revival point. To be precise and assuming at least the start date on the calendar is correct, that strongly indicates to me that it won’t be a KC. And historically the only other 2 day event we’ve had late in the month since I started is mythic revival. Which happened to also start on the 23rd last month. Which is why I think that’s the most likely option. If the calendar is accurate. I don’t follow either discord or test server, so this is purely guessing based on history and the published calendar. I’m always ready to be surprised by something else, I just might need a couple of hours to recover from that surprise. 😉

The upcoming 2 day event starts on a Wednesday, which strongly indicates that it is not a KC event. Those have always started on Thursday with the league reset, so that everyone has fresh league opponents that they can have a chance against. I strongly think that we’ll be having a Matcha revival starting on the 23rd instead.

Once Pandora Witch gets to a high enough level (340 and 400 are both mentioned on the wiki page) then she should start dropping legendary affection items too.

I’ve noticed that on mobile and in list view sorted by grade, it’s every 10th girl that is hidden. A mostly reliable workaround I found is: Go to harem scroll down to the lowest girl you want to collect from (I skip un-upgraded girls) tap the experience or affection button to go to the books or gifts market tap the current girl portrait in the market to go back to harem with her selected now scroll up in the harem list until you get to the top almost all girls should now be visible and collectible in the list. Only 1 of the first 10 girls is missing for me, all others are present. collect all income It’s faster to do than to describe. You could collect while scrolling up, but I find things jump around to much for my taste. I haven’t tested this method on desktop, since I prefer mobile for collecting income.

I would like to second Shaftiels point about the time investment required for FtP players for champions. It is a huge impact on our real-life activities to have to interrupt whatever we’re doing every 15 minutes to throw another ticket at the champ. If there was a way to bank a number of attempts, like seasons or almost any other activity in the game, and spend them in a burst, that would make participating in champions a lot more attractive to a very large number of players. And a second point I would like to suggest is to look at the rewards for players who already have the CC girl. These are generally the stronger players who would carry a large part of the CC effort for the club. But for a long time now they’ve had the same problem that is now being discussed for shards: there is no increased reward for increased effort. 1 ticket has the same reward as 100. Introducing some scaling of the non-shard rewards would improve motivation and participation for these players. It has been quite visible in my club. When there is a new girl, at the start of the month the CC is finished within 1 or 2 days. At the end of the month, when most of the strong players have obtained the girl, it takes over 5 days. The strong players are still participating and pushing to help the rest of the club, but the motivation is much reduced.

I’m wondering about a pattern I think I’m seeing. Do all the goals you get on any given day always add up to 150 potential points in total?

The new PoP girl just showed up for me with the Goblins. I really like the new Daily Goals feature. Very nice reward in the last chest especially, and requires hardly any work. If you don’t get to 100 points automatically with regular play, it’s a nice motivation to do 1 or 2 extra tasks with a nice reward. Well done!

AFAIK the drop rates for these events have been steady for a long time. In fact they seem to me to be mostly the same across classic events, epic, legendary, mythic and orgy days. The drop range differs a lot between them through, which is where epic and legendary days jump out in a negative sense. Natural regen for these 4 day events results in a total of around 35 - 50 shards average for the whole event. Note that that is average across many players & months. RNG luck plays a lot into this and individual cases can and do end up with either less than half or more than double those amounts. Trust me, I know how it feels that the RNG (or devs) are out to get you and your koban stash. I also know what it’s like to get an unexpected good run and grab a girl where it wasn’t really expected. Both happen and are normal in properly random-based reward systems. (let’s not mention the epic days event featuring no epic rarity girls)

Started and finished a Whaty stage, just got the old equipment drop. So far on this thread zero shards for 4 reported attempts.

Your kisses are safe. The final stage doesn’t drop shards. It does mean you need to win 6 or 7 stages, depending on whether you are currently at the final stage. (That’s assuming a 100% chance on shard drops for non final stages. Haven’t seen any experiences yet to validate that assumption) Edit: based on 4 reports so far, none of those has seen shards drop. Small sample size, but still a very bad sign.

I think Apple’s attitude is not really relevant here. They don’t control what you look at in your browser, only what they allow in their App Store. You can look at plenty of sexy stuff in the browser, no problem. The relevant issue is that the game makers probably don’t test on Safari (or another WebKit-based browser), so it continuing to work on iOS is not guaranteed. Since you cannot install a different browser engine on iOS (all browsers are required to use the system supplied WebKit engine for rendering web content), that does limit you if something is written only for Chrome (Blink engine) or something else. You can write a support ticket to try and convince Kindkoid to test on Safari, but I don’t know if there are enough users on iOS for it to be worth it for them. And even if there are, some developers are just not willing or don’t have the time to add another test platform.

There are 350 villain fights, which is way more than natural regen is going to give in 5 days (240). Also 220 PvP wins required.

To add some anecdata, my experience pretty much mirrors JustVisiting. I’m level 377 now, and have been in D2 for quite some time. Ever since the awakenings patch, when I pushed my PvP girls to level 500 immediately, I’ve been having a hard time avoiding promotion to D3. Effectively I have to take 2 days a week off from the league to avoid a top 15 (probably top 4, never 1st) placement. I do play actively, and I pay attention to the colors/elements of teams, having prepared teams for 5 colors (plus a rainbow default team). I don’t use any boosters lately. Right now 2/3 of the league members are over level 400 and 1/5 is over 450. And 1 is below level 300.

Thank you for mentioning Grid view. Somehow in 15 months of playing I never noticed that option. Getting 16 girls per page instead of 5 is quite the improvement. Cheers!

Speaking of the income nerf, nobody has mentioned it here yet, but the 3 girls from Begin City have enormously increased income in the harem. Bunny, Juliette and Red Battler now generate 300k each, every 6 hours. Small compared to the nerf, but not totally insignificant.

That matches rather well with my impression that someone is measuring the quality of this game as being equivalent to the length of the feature list. Edited to add: It is admittedly an easy trap to fall into, especially for a self-taught game designer. In the early years of a game, adding features is often a good thing, and it helps keep the game interesting. And so it’s easy to keep doing the same thing that worked in the past, even though it will become detrimental at some point.

Just brainstorming here, but if you would want to solo it, how about starting your own club, filling it out with 19 new level 1 accounts to lower the champ level? Personally, I prefer being part of a club with actual other players in it though.

That’s a valid choice to make, if you really want it. In the past, the ‘free’ combativity for the whole 4 day event got me about 33 shards for a legendary days girl. Extrapolating that, and counting the price of refills to get the remaining shards, you’d be looking at about 4200 kobans in refills. Add 10% if you want to use the 10x perform option. Others will probably have more thorough statistics than just their own experience. And as Eman said, a bit of bad luck can easily eat your entire stash of coins and still leave you with only 95 shards or so. Good luck!
