  1. I'm going to preface this post by saying that I'm not convinced that anyone will have the *right* answer at this stage, but I felt it would be interesting to have a conversation and share some thoughts on how to balance Blessings against Dominations. Next week's Blessings on both Nutaku and HH servers raise some interesting dynamics. I'm going to look at Nutaku first, because that's the server I play on. The Blessings are Dominatrix and Legendary: So it's possible to create a very strong Dominatrix team for offense. Top 7 as listed above. But then there's defense to think about. Do you go Rainbow - Avaritia, Hazel, Stacy, Eliana, Iba'lee, Beatrix, Madeline? Very strong team, but you are sacrificing quite a lot of stats to avoid selecting Dominatrix as your Domination. Is the stat sacrafice worth it to prevent the +20% crit chance for your opponents? (My guess on this one - given the importance of crits - is yes) Another option is to leave it as Top 7 Dominatrix. Stronger stats with the knowledge that a Voyeur dominant team is going to be more challenging to put together so many of your opponents won't be able to exploit Dominatrix anyway (it's actually pretty tough to make a Voyeur dominant team - there are only 4 5* Legendary girls and you'd have to have at least 3 available). Alternatively you could go Voyeur (if you have the girls available), knowing that it has dominance over Dominatrix and that a lot of players attacking are going to go in with a Dominatrix team? Does the counter bonus even work on defense? You're going to have to drop fairly far outside of the Top 7 to get a Voyeur dominance. So Avarita, Hazel, Stacy, Eliana, Venus, Bianca, Darla. And if you go Voyeur on defense, to counter Dominatrix on offense, you are opening yourself up to being dominated by Submissive, but again it's tough to put together a Submissive dominant team with only 3 available (Lapis, Layla, Fanny & Fione) and there's a significant drop off in stats to do so. How many of your opponents are actually going to be able to construct this team? (this last question will depend largely on the league your playing in. And then we can actually circle back to offense - if you catch players with their Dominatrix team, is it going to be worth taking the drop in stats to go Voyeur to gain the +20% crits? There are a lot of possible approaches here. Personally, I don't think I have enough of the girls available to really play with the options (I'd have to drop way too far down to construct a Voyeur team as an alternative, the penalty for not using the best team is likely too high to be made up even by the +20% crit bonus). ------------------------------------------------- Looking at HH very similiar Blessing combinations (!!) have come up - Legendary and Voyeur: Again Offense is easy - Top 7. Defense we can go Rainbow - Venus, Bianca, Avaritia, Hazel, Stacy, Eliana, Iba'lee. Again the alternative would be to leave the Top 7 with a Voyeur dominance, with the knowledge that any opponent is going to have to have all 3 of the Submissive Legendary 5*s to be able to create a decent Submissive team to dominate you. And if someone does go to the Submissive team, it's straight forward to pick a far stronger Dominatrix team. So whenever they switch in their Submissive team, they're opening the door to other players using this like a booster drop and picking them off with a Dominatrix team. Which you would then give you a similar window of opportunity against those who are picking off the Submissive teams that are trying to pick of your Voyeur team...... Complicated ---------------------------------------------------- Anyone comfortable asserting the best strategy here? I'm certainly not.
  2. Thank you @DvDivXXX - appreciated. I would respond in kind but the lack of PM system prevents that and it would be off topic here. Understood and I agree with you for the most part. But my point with this question was that there are actually far more than 7 girls in the top 7 in this instance (I'm assuming that as all the Mythics are unblessed, they are interchangable and the order is arbitrary). This allows for choices to be made. Obviously on defense you want to go Rainbow. The seven in the first seven rows provide that neatly so provide your best team (though won't in every similar case and you can still have the 'best' team by switching in other Mythics). For offense it's possible to make two potential Element combinations of 3 girls each. Princess Noemy, Alexa, Radka for Eccentric and Kalissa, Golden Lupa and High Mage Arcana for Exhibitionist. Now, obviously you would not want to have these Element groupings if your opponent was showing a Dominant grouping. So if the opponent showed an Element grouping of Eccentric, you'd want to actively avoid the Exhibitionist grouping and if they showed a grouping of Sensual you'd want to avoid Eccentric. And vice versa - if your opponent shows either Exhibitionist of Physical these two combinations become even more important. But my question in the original post - which admittedly wasn't conveyed particularly clearly - was really about what is the best team for offense if your opponent is showing Rainbow? Should you stick with Rainbow, or create one or both of the Element groupings? My understanding is you're still better off with the groupings but that may be a poor grasp of the system.
  3. Hypothetical here, as I can't make any of this combination of team, but what would the best teams be this week on Nutaku?: My guess would be Rina, (Princess Noemy, Alexa, Radka), (Kalissa, Golden Lupa, High Mage Arcana) for offense and Rina, Princess Noemy, Kalissa, Zoe, Matcha, and any two other Mythics. -------- It does also seem worth noting that while the reward 5-star Legendaries are technically in the pool now, no-one currently has them. So for instance, this week on HH: Until a decent number of players are past level 500 on the Pantheon, the best possible offensive team above isn't technically achievable as no-one actually has Taurus. ---- I figured that it was too early in the morning and my head wasn't working right!
  4. Am I being dim and missing something? Would you not be better switching out Stacy for Misvaginus given that Sai has slightly better stats?
  5. If revivals are a no go then it may be time to change the above and remove the 'I'll be back later!'. It also becomes meaningless to collect any shards for Mythics unless you're going to complete the set.
  6. Then correct the bug before releasing a premium version of the girl rather than days after having players invest their resources in said premium version.
  7. Actually I don't think he is over reacting. It's one thing to correct errors on older girls where the Blessings system wasn't in play when they were launched. Even to correct some of the newer but less important girls. But this month's Mythic girl? Their premium girl, that costs a very significant portion of the resources available to players to acquire? To have a error of this nature on that girl in the first instance shows a lack of preperation. A bug of this nature should not have occurred on a Mythic girls in the first place. Someone should have been double checking that before the Mythic Days event. And to switch it out to an alternative that it doesn't seem unreasonable to guess isn't going to be in the hair colour rotation? Certainly no more unreasonable than guessing that it will. And to do all of that without even a note about it? Lack of quality control even on their most important girls and lack of communication. Add to that, depending on the status of the hair colours and whether or not every option is equally weighted, potentially making the Royal Housemaid weaker than her Mythic peers. It seems to me that there's fair grounds to be annoyed about that.
  8. It *may* not apply - though I'd want to look into the legal specifics of that in each individual jurisdiction before asserting that as fact - but that doesn't change the fact that this is a p2p game and you're selling an in game currency and encouraging players to pseudo-gamble with that currency. The odds of success should be clearly available to all. Where gambling regulation is coming into place, almost every regulator is setting this as a base line requirement. Even *if* it's not a legal requirement in any of the jurisdictions you operate for this specific structure of game, it is simply transparent and customer friendly practice. It could even be viewed as a type of future proofing
  9. And how's this for a funny coincidence? Today's MyP Nutaka rotation:
  10. Is this something that will work on the Nutaku servers or is it HH only? I don't like clicker games at all tbh, but I'd be willing to grind through this to get an extra 5-star Legendary. Thanks in advance all, JV EDIT - Doesn't look likely - you'd need a Nutaku specific referral link as hentaiclicker.com is only HH.
  11. Edited above for everyone's convenience - I had to do another purchase anyway, so the figures have changed.
  12. ***This post has been edited with the final results*** So I held off till tonight. I would have preferred to wait until Wed morning, but fearing the Patch pandimonium that often occurs I thought is wiser to get the playing done tonight. I've reached 98 shards and I'm happy enough to wait until tomorrow and play the extra free regens to get the last two (one with booster) or if the game's inaccessible, use DT. Stats (drop rate in brackets): 5 SP Boosters used Total 749 Fights 245 'free' Fights - between holdovers from last month's events and regens (Note - these actually cost a total of 16 Koban as I burned through the first 100 using 50x to ensure that my natural regens could kick in from the start) 100 Shards over 50 drops (6.53%) 41 Tickets (5.49%) 25 Dating Tokens (3.27%) 65 MyP orbs (8.89%) Cost - 952 Kobans (Nutaku) Total cost including SP Boosters - 1402 Kobans Comparing this to the last Mythic girl I picked-up (Golden Lupa), which cost 2104 Kobans, Royal Housemaid has come in a whopping 33.4% cheaper despite a poorer drop rate. A did manage to get an additional 31 free fights this time round, saving an extra 55 Koban. If I hadn't had those the saving would have been 30.7%. This lines up pretty closely with the estimates saving of 33% I made in a previous thread discussing the new Mythic Boosters, so I'm pretty happy with that. Oh, and I've still got 5 SP shards that I can claim on the DF event. Not much, but a little extra.
  13. I'd expand on that a little and say that by the 'mid-game' the only common girls of any value to you will be the 5-stars, and honestly it's the odd week where one of these comes into play. Take this week and next. On Nutaka the first Common 5-star girl is the 22nd and 48th strongest pick for your team respectively. On HH it's 29th and 136th! I'm using two common girls on the Nutaku server this week, but that's due to a lack of the relevant Mythics and 5-star Legendaries. My teams for this week and next are 2 Mythics, 2 5-star Legendaries, 1 5-star Rare, 2 5-star Commons and 5 5-star Legendaries, 1 5-star Rare and a 3-star Legendary. Rare and Epics suffer a similar fate of being sub-optimal most of the time, though they do come up a little more often. The real attractiveness about the 5-star Rare/Epics is for the weeks where their rarity comes up as a Blessing. These girls are in short supply so if you can get all of them you're positioning yourself for a very strong team on those weeks (9 5-star Rares and only 2 5-star Epics). A similar arguement could be made for Common girls, but as effectively everyone has them, the advantage to be gained is cancelled out.
  14. I'm going the opposite direction on this. I know I can comfortably afford the Royal Housemaid and another Mythic right now with Koban. So I'm going to spend the DT on a 5* Leg that I've got a reasonable number of shards on as who knows when the next opp will appear to get her.....
  15. There were still 400 shards left on Nutaku before the 8am reload this morning. Admittedly it was overnight in one of the more popular markets, but I've never seen a batch last the full 2 hours within the first 24 hours of the event before.
  16. I'm only 20 shards in right now, with SP booster, so 10 shards really. Drop rate atm is 7.2%, which is pretty close to the drop rate for the last Mythic I picked up (Golden Lupa) at 7.3%. Glad to hear you've managed to pick her up It's tough holding back to go through the bulk on the last day.
  17. There have been two Mythic revivals so far for Bunna and Estelle. Moe Bunny hasn't had a revival yet as far as I'm aware and if the pattern follows the next Mythic revival will be Alexa. I would also say that it's likely to be more expensive to pick-up a girl during the revival events. The shorter period and lower shard pool means that they go faster throughout. It makes spending the extra Koban for the 50x almost essential, whereas during the ordinary events you can normally pick-up the girl on the 1x towards the end of the event.
  18. What?! I thought boosters were on/off immediately as the player ran out/reapplied? Is that not the case? Does that mean that if my boosters run out at 5:55 and I don't reapply till 6:05 that for the next 6 hours I'm shown as unboosted to other players in my bracket? Of do they apply immediately but the stats just don't show until the next 6h update? This seems like a fairly substantive gap in my knowledge!!
  19. Or possibly a Mythic Revival as we didn't have one last month and they've tended to be 2 days towards the end of the month.
  20. First world problems. Everyone's healthy. I've lost something that I spent a decade building, but the truth is I'm in a far better position than the majority of people in my social group. It's been (and will continue to be) emotionally painful, but it's trivial compared to what many other people have/are going through. Interestingly, this game has actually helped me in unexpected ways. I found the game by happenstance after a run of rather bad luck in life. Factors that were entirely out of my control but that had significant implications for me had taken me to some pretty dark places at the time. My self-confidence, which has always been a big factor in any success I've had, was very low. As trivial as it is, winning here allowed me to feel good about a small element of my life during those times. And it offered a distraction and a focus away from the things I couldn't control. I'm not saying this game is any deeper than it is. It was just in the right place at the right time for me. I can't believe I've never thought of this before. Now you point it out, it's so damned obvious. And damned useful. The two comments above do seem to conflict a little. I always went with @jelom's rule up to this point. I had very much reached the position where, even unboosted, I couldn't have used all of by battles without promoting. I went for promotion last week and ended up 7th, though I could have ended 5th but didn't see buying extra battles as a useful exercise at that stage. In all fairness, for the two proceeding weeks the point total I ended on would have comfortably landed me #2, so maybe I just got a little unlucky and drew a set of particularly active players for a D1 league. But I am kind of nit picking here. From what I can see, the two suggestions have significant overlap. @jelom's is a general guideline while your's is a more detailed expansion on the same line of thought. I'm looking at those screen shots and smiling. The game's changed a lot! They are D2 leagues and the highest level player I see is 406! I can even see a level 295! To show a similar position range from my current league: Just goes to show that there are more and more players active who have been for years. Rough estimation - 75% of the player's in my current league are above level 406. I'm going to implement your advice above, but not this week. First week in a new league, I need a calibration week to figure out how tough it's going to be to hit that 16-30 bracket. After that I'll start making adjustments to maximise the XP I can take. Thanks!
  21. @Redbeard is spot on with what's going on here in a 'bigger picture' sense. Lots of the recent changes have been specifically targeted at reducing the number of girls you can collect. Look down through the list: - Pulling EP orbs from the Mythic days competitions. Given that these orbs gave the best chance of awarding a girl the primary consequence is reduction in the girls being given out. - Slashed the drop rate of the EP orbs in Temp PoP. Same again. - Added GPx1 orbs to both the Perm PoP and the leagues. This was very clearly intended to reduce the drop rates of MyP orbs. MyP orbs provided a valuable resource - though in some respects not as valuable as EP - for picking-up girls. I appreciate this was undone, but..... - Slashing the drop rate of MyP orbs in the Perm PoP. It was just a better 'hidden' way of achieving the same result as the point above. - Diluting the Temp PoP with what @DvDivXXX correctly assessed as garbage (my counter point that these were simply targeted at lower level players was clearly wrong given the reality that even the stingy XP/Aff/boosters that were added have very low drop rates). You now get the EP Temp PoP less often and it has the far lower drop rate from above (and the Kobans Temp PoP less so less to spend on girls). Girls, girls, girls, girls...... Removing the DT is the same deal. It doesn't change the exclusivity of any of the girls in question in a direct fashion. The only girls that are really exclusive - i.e. cost a lot to get - are the Mythics and, to a far lesser extent, the 5 star Legendaries. Buying a Mythic with DT costs an exorbitant prices. Effectively, you're not going to be able to afford it (due to lack of access to DT to collect in the first place) unless you were already regularly picking up Mythic girls since the launch of DT. Somewhat of a circular logic to that - if you're regularly picking up the Mythic girls, are you really going to desparately need the DT to get them? So the premium product's exclusivity was not threatened in any real manner by DT. Removing them does however increase the number of 'I nearly got the girl but...' situations. And while doing this pisses everyone off, that's likely EXACTLY the intention. You get to the last hour of an event. You've got no Combativity left. You've got 90+ shards of the girl you've been working on. Right now, you think "it's okay, I can spend some DT to finish this girl off". No panic. Without the DT though, you're left feeling very frustrated. What's that frustration likely to cause you to do? Spend some Kobans to finish off the girl. If you have less Koban available, you will be less likely to be able to pick-up the premium Mythic girls when they come around. Indirectly, the removal of DT will impact the exclusivity of the premium girls. The introduction of DT took away this mechanic and reduced player frustration. Removing them doesn't make a massive 'real' difference to the number of girls you'll be able to collect - in an accounting sense, because the prices for shards were so high and they were relatively scarce, they weren't really worth that much - but it is in my opinion 100% intended to frustrate the players into spending Koban to finish off event girls. For anyone who is f2p and views this as a 'gotta have them all' game, I think you're likely to end up more and more frustrated as time progresses. To my mind there is a clear trend to the nature of the updates being made week-by-week and it is very much intended to make collecting girls more difficult. ----------------------------------------------- All of this has the over-riding consequence - that KK do not seem to care about in the slightest - of absolutely cementing the established players in the top spots. These players lived through the higher award rates of the orbs and as such have cleared their EP/MyP pools. Removing these resources now has minimal impact on them. For younger players trying to catch-up the reality is that its going to take FAAAR longer to do that now. So not only are you playing at an XP disadvantage, you now have little chance in catching-up to the harem sizes of the older players. This both impacts your battle stats and gives you a lower chance of having the girls to make the optimum team. IMO KK aren't concerned at all about this dynamic. The top end prizes from the league are alluring enough that players - the majority of whom aren't on the forums having this conversation and may not see the realities of the system - will continue to try to reach for them even if their realistic chances of obtaining them are pretty low, because the system is structured in such a way that it's not immediately apparent how hard it will be to catch-up. The imbalance towards the older players that is often highlighted just isn't a concern to KK. They don't care who wins the leagues as long as people keep plowing money in to try. They've accepted these players as part of the system and are content for them to remain where they are. The number of players who actually understand how tough it will be to challenge them will be a tiny sliver of their player bank. No threat to their business model. ----------------------------------------------- As to whether to spend these now or wait on them coming back - are you mad? Spend them before the date or lose them. There was no reassurance given. It would be easy to have said 'don't worry, these will return in an month or two/6 months/whenever'. Instead we got a cold, "will be temporarily disabled" with a date to ensure you could use them. The "temporarily" is there only to give KK an out if they do want to bring them back at some point (and also tempt players not to use them and pick-up girls they would otherwise spend for later) and the hard deadline is absolutely an insurance against people complaining after the fact. The ambiguities in this are just PR speak. The DT are gone for the foreseeable future. It also surprises me that so few people appear to have been using DT for Hard Training Daily Contest (get a girl = 50k points). I structured my event play to get close to, but not over, 100 shards on as many girls as possible: I'll wait to closer to the deadline to see if the appropriate DC comes up, but if it comes to it I'll blast through these and use the rest to finish off one of the LD girls that I'm partially through. It may not be absolutely optimum, but then holding 8 girls that you really should have already had out of your harem was sub-optimal in other ways and even if I ignored the above girls, I don't have enough DT to finish off 2 LD girls sadly. Maybe I'll pick-up enough during the MD contest and will just leave these 8 where they are in favour of getting another 2 5 star legendaries on the roster, but I suspect that's a little optimistic. For anyone who hasn't done the above I'd think that targeting the LD girls is likely the most beneficial way to use your DT or reducing the cost of picking up this month's Mythic as @jelom so competently addressed above.
  22. Sorry DvDivXXX - I don't want to seem unappreciative, but last Friday RL delivered me a fairly significant kick in the teeth. Consequently I've had far less free time available. Enough to do what needed to be done, but forum posting was sacrificed. I haven't had a lot of time to think about this, but would I be on the right track if I suggested inverting the strategy that you'd use in D3? i.e. specifically looking for boosted players to play? And I take your point regarding the XP - I assume you're using the Alban's Mythical booster and you'd consider using that worthwhile all of the time?
  23. Would you purchase 50k XP for 3k Kobans though? That's the tradeoff we're actually talking about. To me a level is a few days work. To you, at the stage of the game you're at, it could be a few weeks. The value of a level is fairly radically different between the two of us at the present time and I could see why you would consider a level at that price a bargain. And for the sake of clarity, I am talking Nutaku Kobans not HH. However, I do see something in this statement. If XP is worth more than Koban, then getting to D3 and using AM boosters would be a good trade off lower level (within reason) players at least once a week. You're not going for the big win but the AM is going to give you better chances of more wins. Tipping over those close losses to wins will increase your XP take over the week. At a cost of 90 Koban, depending on the XP you could gain, that could be a good deal. Off the top of my head I can think of a few things. Hobbling yourself can be achieved via i) not using boosters ii) switching out your legendary equipment and iii) putting in a weaker team. So I can certainly see how I could extract a little more XP. If you can drop a win from 22pts to 17pts, and do that over a lot of extra fights, you are going to be able to pull out some extra XP every week (an average reduction of 2pts/fight over 192 fights is an extra 384 pts available. So an extra ~20ish wins and an extra 5k XP/week). But I would have thought the balance would be to get through all of the WINS rather than take the losses. If you start having to take the losses (i.e. you've claimed every win possible via hobbled and unhobbled play), chances are you're better off moving up a tier. And that's where you have to start being careful not to hobble yourself so much that some of those wins turn into losses. That would quickly eat the extra XP derived from this strategy.
  24. This is suggesting the diametic opposite of the original proposition (unboost and drop down a league tier). I understand your point, but I think it still runs afowl of the balance. If I was to aggressively promote myself up league tiers, I'm confident that I could be in D3 in 2-3 weeks time. However, the number of wins I could actually achieve at this stage in D3 would be minimum. As it takes ~5 losses to gain as much XP as a single win, I'd need I'd need nearly 1k losing performances to earn as much XP as the 192 wins I did in D1. I absolutely agree, once you get to D3 the rules of the game change and there is no longer any benefit in capping yourself. You take as much as you can every week. But you still probably shouldn't be in D3 until you can make an equivalent or greater amount of XP by playing through all the losses than you would have just claiming the wins in D2. Do you just want an extra soft player to score off of in your bracket? 😋
