Aaaand I'm done. It's been a fun four years, but this is just extra work with no payoff. I switch teams in D3 depending on my opponent, and juggling gear every time I fight an opponent is miserable for the many reasons I'm sure you've already encountered and other people have already described in detail. I assume most players aren't going to worry too much about getting the "best" sets, but I'm really proud of my optimization and there isn't any way I can see to optimize these in Leagues and still only devote a reasonable amount of time to the game. It's been a really fun ride, though, and thank you to all the users here for your extensive support. Final score: 23 level 750 Mythics and 43 level 750 Legendaries. 26 Mythics, 126 Legendaries, 1262 girls total. 87th place on Pantheon. Never made 1st place in D3 but have been getting top 4 more than 50% of the time for months. Nutaku. Thanks again for a great four years!

If I'm going all-in, is it cheaper to use sandalwood perfumes on Legendary Days or not?

Well %#$ me. I've always been a silver card holder, until a couple weeks ago, and yeah it turns out I'm also missing both the girls from the last PoV. I never understood what the "Collect last season..." meant since it's always been a feature I had. ($5 later) Annnd I guess I'm a cardholder for one more month. Thanks for the detailed clarifications, DvDivXXX & bolitho76! Edit: Actually, if you have a card it seems like BB really is the only recurring, completely missable one. The card covers Season, PoA, PoV, and PoG, you automatically get the club girl shards when you go open the club, Legendary Contests sit in your contest results (forever) until you get them, you need to collect the League shards to enter the next League, and everything else is shards that you immediately get on-the-fly as you finish battles/play Pachinko. Maybe the Anniversary event that just ended was missable? When I saw that I didn't get Skye I panic-collected everything from that event 10 minutes before it ended. 😅

No, I was successful at all the others (except the first) and have them. There's always either been a points-for-girls contest before the end or I just got impatient. This happens for most events! Or some events? I dunno, I do it all the time and it usually works. when you login for the first time after the event you just get a pile of loot.

Going back through my harem... today I learned: you don't automatically collect your shards at the end of a boss bang. RIP 80/100 Skye.

So what're we expecting for August revival? Golden Lupa, New Year Estelle, both, or something else? Not knowing is really annoying because the last day to buy the Golden Anniversary Cards is ~3 days before the revival, and if you need the combativity from the cards for the revival they're nearly free, whereas if you don't the cards are outrageously expensive.

Hello! Whelp, I contacted the admins to hand over my (unmaxed) club to a minion and am in the wild today! Looking for a maxed out, active club. Will break 750 in about 2 weeks (although it'll be a while before I get a full team up there). I forgot I'd lose all my club bonuses in the League (LOL) so I can't afford to really shop around, once I hit my 24 hours I'd really like to jump in somewhere. If anyone's interested let me know!

Rolled through 1500s like an unstoppable train, got up to 1600 with my triple Cordy annnnnd flat 0%. I only have level 700 girls, this and next week are awful for bonuses (Nutaku), got Capricorn but Aquarius is far off in the distance... I feel like the supporting character that bleeds out after their heroic last stand. I think I'll just rest here for a while.

Whelp, now that I've had a while with the feature I absolutely hate it. 1. In the main game, the MC is generic enough that I can self-insert. Here there are 2 conversation types and neither sounds like me at all. In fact, they both seem kinda boring... they aren't clever, or dorky and sweet, or contain any lines I remember 5 minutes later, or anything else like that. I'm both yanked from immersion and made to dislike the MC. 2. None of it reads like texting and none of the pics are selfies. I would like the pictures 10x as much if they were actually drawn like selfies, hell I'd be okay if they were mostly main harem girls with generic duck lips in their bathroom mirrors. But none of these are selfies. Same thing with the "texting." It should be in lower case, have (more) emojis, misspellings, slang, etc. I know the localization makes this harder but a simple "u up," as generic and absurd as it is, would be preferable to all these Grammerly-esque formal sentences. 3. All the girls sound exactly the same. For some reason I thought Ankyo would just use emojis and not words, but in any case she shouldn't sound the same as Bunny. Anyway. This is the first feature that I actually hate, and it isn't because of the mechanics at all.

Hi all, looking for advice on whether I should switch clubs. In about 60 days I'll hit 500/750, max stats, lotsa mythics, etc etc. The issue is that my club is capped at rank 15 for everything (except XP and gold), and I'm the club leader and the highest-level person by far so they are unlikely to increase ranks unless I do it. I don't know anyone personally, but we have good participation - 24 in current champ fight, for example. I'm pretty lazy and generally chill in D3 5-15th but how much does that extra 2.5% matter? Would it be worth shifting to an all-20 club... would that open up 2-4th place in the League? I honestly don't know and am looking for advice. Thanks in advance!

Holy crap, just casually doing my Pantheon Daily Goals and I beat 1500 with a 0.04% chance! I've been playing long enough that there are very few surprises in HH... it's really nice to have something random happen.

Easy 5-15 turned to 18th place due to a RL death in the family and missing 10 matches despite spending a ton of Kobans to make up for bad timing all week. On the other hand, having missed 0 League matches and finished 100% of the Daily Missions for many months, it's reassuring to know that I can tune out the game for real life and not feel bad about it when needed.

Well that sucked. I wasn't expecting it to be this close or I would have used an AM booster or 3xCordy instead of 2xGinseng and 1xCordy. Next week will be less stressful; I don't have Donatella, Bunna, or Capricorn built so no real chance at top 4. But once again I wonder if my all level 15 club is what did me in... Edit: Lol I have THIRTY SIX level 500 opponents this week, including half-a-dozen Syndicate and Discordian members. I'll make an easy 8th place though

After 2 months I finally broke through 1400. No real strategy, just staying there so long that I gained a bunch of levels... Onward and upward!

Having also not refreshed a shop in forever, I just tried it - and you are correct! My error. Yes, it's almost impossible (as far as I can tell) to efficiently get more gems without $$$. But as a FtP player I'm sitting on over 50K unused gems with close to 0 XP books. The gems are badly distributed, but they aren't ALL purple (lol). At my current earning rate Legendaries take about 5 days worth of gems & XP to get to level 700 (from 0). Mythics only take 6 days worth of gems, but cost 12 days worth of XP, AND the hundred of performances to get them earns me a couple days worth of gems, while Commons take 1 day of gems and 3 days of XP. So I think over time, at high levels, XP absolutely also becomes a bottleneck. So yeah, I think you're right and it's a pick your poison issue, but ideally you should eventually (end game) do both in moderation. Which is more interesting anyway. Edit: I didn't remember the shop refresh mechanics because I'm not rushing for 750, I'm trying to get all the Mythics. Their power is almost coincidental, I just like collecting well-illustrated girls. And making big Excel sheets.

IMA show my work All values are Nutaku Kobans. It costs 980,000 XP to get a Mythic from level 1 to 700, and 394,000 XP to get a Legendary to level 700. Ignoring gems, you can level (980/394=2.49) 2.5 Legendary girls instead of one Mythic. Mythic shards have a 7% drop rate; you need 100 to get a girl. If you buy 5 Sandalwood Perfume @90 Kobans each you spend (90&5=450) 450 Kobans but only need 50 successful performances instead of 100. On average, you need (50/.07=714) 714 performances. Over the course of 3 days you get (24*2*3=144) 144 free performances, meaning you need to buy (714-144=570) 570 performances. Each 20 refill costs 36 Kobans, so this costs (570/20*36=1026) 1026 Kobans. Your total cost to acquire a Mythic girl, between perfumes and refills, is 1476 Kobans. 1476 Kobans can also buy you 211 market restocks (@7 Kobans each; 1476/7=211). Each market restock offers about 11,500 XP worth of books (plus or minus 15%). Altogether this is (211*11500=2,426,500) 2.5 MILLION XP worth of books, more than enough to get 6 Legendary girls from level 1 to 700 (2,426,500/394,000=6.16). You also get a ton of affection items but at high levels XP and gems are the bottlenecks. So the total opportunity cost of acquiring and leveling one Mythic girl to level 700, in terms of XP specifically, is that you choose not to level (2.5+6.16=8.66) EIGHT Legendary girls to level 700. This isn't about rushing, it's about the fact that you can do lots of powerful, interesting things with Kobans, and that Mythic girls take a @#$%^ of XP to level.

Mythics are really, really expensive. Not only does it cost 2.5x as many books to level them, but if you spend all the Kobans it takes to get one on restocking the shop you'll get enough books and potions to bring SIX additional L5 girls to level 700. (Dunno about level 750, probably only 4.) Yes, you need extra unleveled L5s, lots of extra gems, etc. for this to be worthwhile. But no matter how you slice they are a tremendously expensive investment.

I knew it was going to be a rough week when I saw there were 19 level 500 players in my group. I had a solid line-up for the first few days but missing/haven't leveled 5/7 of the top 5 girls for the current spread, and not having High Mage Arcana (or Nero, or Eliana) is going to suck next week as well... On the plus side I missed the top 4 by so much that I don't think there's anything strategic I could have done to make it up, and I'm heartened by how many players just leave their teams with a dominant color so with minimal effort I was countering almost everyone.
