Before that I did 2 10x plays and, on this occasion, I did better with the 10 individual spins. An update. In this account I had two legendary equipment items (of no value as it turns out). In Lili I had legendary chocolates and Nara. It's better than what i've got on test server (1 girl with 40 spins), but it's still a bad result. _shal_ Posted December 28, 2018 Share Posted December 28, 2018 I took the introduction of the Event Pachinko as a welcome opportunity to do my own tests of the Epic Pachinko this month, since the removal of the event girls simplified things a lot on the girl side. All in all I did 1500 spins on the test server across the last couple of weeks - using new test accounts that start with 27600 kobans each, so enough for up to 51 spins per account, although there were a number of accounts where fewer than that were done. (Largely concerning accounts that I had previously used to test the Event Pachinko, where I popped the left-over kobans into EP now. Since all spins are supposed to be completely independent, it shouldn't be making any difference.) The results - subgroup percentages only refer to their respective supergroup totals, not the full 1500 spins: 98 Girl drops (6.5%) 69 EP girl drops (70.4%) 29 Boss girl drops (29.6%) 708 Legendary equipment drops (47.2%) 570 Rainbow (80.5%) 32 Hardcore (4.5%) 34 Charm (4.8%) 41 Know-how (5.8%) 17 Harmony (2.4%) 14 Endurance (2.0%) 694 Legendary gift drops (46.3%) 217 Flowers (31.3%) 224 Chocolates (32.3%) 152 Bracelets (21.9%) 101 Lingerie (14.6%) Observations: That girl drop percentage looks pretty catastrophic, and while it's still possible that there's a significant impact of randomness in there even after 1500 attempts, I think it's safe to say that the true rate is not anywhere near 10%, making single-spin EP a bad bet for getting girls compared to the 10x version. (At least on the test server; the main server may be configured differently, although I think it's unlikely.) My best result was getting 8 girls in an account, the worst was zero - yep, one account managed to go through the full 51 spins / 27,540 kobans without dropping any girl. Three others went very close, only dropping the first girl on spin 46, 46, and 44. Across two accounts, the longest bad-luck streaks observed were 63 (18 spins to end one account, 45 to open the next) and 60 (24+36). The biggest good-luck streak was dropping girls on three consecutive spins, once. 5 further times girls dropped on two back-to-back spins. The split between EP and boss girls appears to confirm the devs' statement that EP girls are weighted at 1.5x the value of boss girls. Around 700 of these 1500 spins were done before the introduction of the new December EP girls (EP content for a fresh account: 38 perm girls and 27 boss girls), the other 800 spins afterwards (with 40 perm and 27 boss). Those numbers give an expected EP girl drop probability of approximately 68.5% for this test, very close to the observed share of 70.4%. It's probably the case that outside the girl drops, the probabilities are split half-and-half between gifts and equipment. The observed rainbow equipment share is probably very close to the real number after so many drops, so I suspect it's set at 80% of all equipment drops. For some reason the EP just couldn't stop giving me KH equipment at various points during the test, but I would guess the three main class types are meant to have equal probabilities, with Harmony and Endurance set at half that rate. So, HC = Ch = KH = 5%, Har = End = 2.5%, most likely. As it happens, those percentages largely match what I've observed for 10x Great Pachinko as well, where my live play results stand at 194 legendary equips including 152 rainbows (78.4%), 12 HC, 10 Ch, 10 KH, 4 Har, 6 End, so this percentage breakdown may be universal in the game (including the market?). I'm less sure how to interpret the breakdown of the 4 gift types. It's safe to say that they're not equally likely to drop, but the percentages observed here don't lend themselves to any "pretty" true breakdown. Between BananaJoy's numbers and mine, I suspect it may be 35% Flowers, 30% Chocolates, 20% Bracelets, and 15% Lingerie. Or perhaps Flowers and Chocolates are equally likely, with the two higher-value types splitting the rest, for a breakdown of something like 33.3% / 33.3% / 20% / 13.3%.
