People who wish to speak English are free to do so at any time, a large number of players understand it and answer them in the same language, as you could see from talking in the chat a few days ago with Aris and others. Since that day, we have welcomed a new member, and I have invited another to join us on Discord. You didn't miss much 😉 Remember that most conversations take place on our Discord server, the chat in game plays a very secondary role, which may explain the feeling of isolation. You are more than welcome to join us on Discord and participate in our English channels, server games, share screenshots, and so on. I'm on the CNO Discord server as well (but very inactively so). So for the sake of my argument let's assume the worst case in which he was cheating but stopped after discussing the matter. What would you do about it if you were me? Kicking him would not only mean losing one of your best people, but also sending the wrong message that nobody can be forgiven. I believe in rules and that if we don't have a clear policy (aka our code of honor), everybody would make up their own rules and chaos would emerge. That being said, I also believe that mistakes happen (it's how we learn), so we should be able to forgive and work towards a better future. So if Habi cheated, he and everybody else should get a second chance if he can prove betterment, don't you think? Assuming everybody has to be perfect and instantly expel anybody who misbehaves... for me that would be ignoring reality. I'd have to kick myself because I too made mistakes in the past and will probably continue to do make new mistakes every day. Just jump to the past of this thread to see me defend using a multi-session-bug end of last year because apparently it fits my quirky lifestyle. Today I believe it was wrong to exploit the bug, no matter how many people did the same or how little harm it might have done. I'm still quirky in many ways, but willing to learn. 😋 So to answer the question: Why did I kick BoogerStick but not Habi? It's pretty easy: Habi was available to talk to and if he did something wrong, he instantly changed for the better. I'm totally fine with that. BoogerStick I unfortunatelly couldn't reach, and of course the accusations regarding him didn't stop. Kicking him was my last option to maintain our code, so that's what I did. I still hope that he will reach out and allow us to give him a second chance. I always liked his attitude and was happy to have him on the team, but we can only have people who do their best to stick to the rules. Last but not least: Second chances are very common in this game, and I'm happy about this. Remember there was a huge ban wave in the beginning of this year. Many high level players exploited a ToF bug to claim lots of undeserved rewards. Did the clubs who were affected by this kick their proven cheaters? No, they did not (or at least not everyone). I know from some club leaders that their reasoning is similar to what I wrote above: People deserve second chances if they learn from their mistakes. I hope that this is true for everybody out there. In my opinion we should always give people the benefit of the doubt. But even if proven guilty, we must be able to forgive in order to allow people to grow and become better. Thanks for reading through this, I'm looking forward to your comments! its ur club u con do what u want. but habi is everything then i nice guy. offending others in not only one cases. anyways i dispise him and think he knows that. he betreayed me once for over 50k kobans. its not that he ever apology to anybody. so if u want to keep it, then do it. but its not changing my mind, that he have havily damaged the whole server by him and ppl with the same attitude. abusing a bug for so long shows cleary that he dont care at all about the community. and no list or calculation can compensate this. As of now I see no reason in kicking Habi and thankfully I'm in contact with BoogerStick now so we can clarify his situation. If you feel betrayed for any reason please direct your concerns at KK directly because punishments are their call, not mine. I'm constantly reporting any bug, exploit or strange behavior I observe and to me it seems they take it seriously. The feedback I got though is that they need to be super sure about banning people because nobody who is actually innocent should be punished (which I agree 100% with). For me, Habi is not a cheater, for you he is. Kinkoid has to make that call and you will make it easier for them if you provide them with all evidence you have. Change of subject: I see English is not your native tongue. You can make it much easier for yourself if you use https://www.deepl.com/translator which is the best online translator I know. I use it regularly to talk to somebody in French (which I otherwise really suck at) and get great feedback about it.
