Luck + micro-management = My highest ever D3 finish. . 96 in league, ave 21.94 pts/fight.

I am not going to rage quite but this event format makes me sad. My past post history shows I try to look on the positive side of of KK's changes and I always voice my approval of the many, many positive changes KK has made in the almost 3 yrs I have been playing. But this format sucks. As @Z-Wave points out it is zero sum. There are a bunch of players who immediately start whining about how any change makes the game pay2win. They are just about always wrong. In this case they may be right. I generally place in the top 50% of contests anyway but this is going to hurt casual players. As @Mr.Goodfellow points out the reset time sucks for North American players. For years I (NA player) benefited from the old reset time and I felt it was unfair (in my favour). I went from placing every second day to never placing with the new reset. Net loss of about 60 kobans a day. But I did not whine. Time for the Euro players to get a bit of a bonus. But losing 100/50/25 shards to a sniper while I am asleep is a LOT worse than losing 120 kobans. If you are care enough to post here I suggest you also respond the KK's survey linked in the patch notes.

Wow, what a mess. Makes my strangely weak D3 last week less interesting. I ended up matching my best ever D3 placement, 7th, with only 1/4 the number of orange boosters I usually use to score a few places worse. I'll take it.

I have got a strangely weak D3 going on. With 1 1/2 days left I (L410) am 9th about 400 back of 4th. In the last few days I have been as high as 5th. Top levels are the normal pack of L440 ish. 7th is my best so far in D3 but that was with 4 x orange and I was well back of 4th. This week I have used 1 partial orange (8 hrs at the beginning left over from the prev week) and the rest have been green. I plan to go orange for the last day. If I manage a top 15 with 1 1/3 orange that will be my cheapest D3 5-15 ever. Fingers crossed.

4 girl version of event done yesterday with 3 1/2 days to go. Overall I stand by my mid-event evaluation. Ok/good event, mix of good and annoying. Easy for a late game player to complete. I nerfed big time vs the champs, took about 30 hrs total for the 80 champ fights, completed 4 champs, suffered one champ 24 hr regen, and ended up having to fight a last 12 battles while nerfed to reset the last champ (don't ask, my oopsie). Next time I will try not nerfing vs champs, suffer through 1 or 2 24 hr cool-downs, and see if I can still complete. I was surprised to see how the event affected my reserves. Cash: 300M -> 550M Champ tickets: 250 -> 230 Kobans: 18K -> 13K Good luck to everyone still chipping away.

Just my opinion. TLDR at bottom. The event is a mix of good and bad. I am F2P, L407, so end gamish. I hope I am not jinxing myself but the event is pretty easy with no koban spend required beyond the amount I spent to unlock the bonus path. 5 1/2 days to go and I have 3 1/2 tasks left. Finally something to spend all my extra champ tickets on. I started with about 250. On normal days I get about 10 tickets but my play style means I suck up all the kobans I can, hoard them for high return (revival / orgy) events, and then blow them 1K, 5K, 10K at a time. This brings in a LOT of champ tickets. I have also finished the last story scroll so energy -> tickets there too. I only fight champs while orange boosted (about 1/3 of the time) so even farming 4 champs lets the tickets pile up. I really like being able to pick my boss for the villian tasks. So far I have cleaned up 2 bosses where I had partial shards on their girl and started in on a 3rd. Dropping girls as a side effect of doing a task is very satisfying. I also like the new thinking required in POA vs a regular event. A lot of the tasks are stuff you would be doing anyway, event or no. You just have to plan. Buy those stats now or wait 1 day until the spend X task is active? Do 15 league fights now or do 3 now and have 15 in the chamber when the PvP task starts in an hour. More synapses for me! Negative: Expensive. 7200 kobans for 2 girls over 7 days? OK but not great. Negative: I am not happy with how much play time is required. On a normal 5 day event you play say an hour or 2 a day on days 1 - 4 and an extra 2 hours at the end of day 5 spamming refills and you are done. POA has you camping on arena and champ cool-downs for hours. Negative: The champ requirements shut out a lot of players. If you do not have 4 champs unlocked the 4 girl variant is probably out of reach. I am conflicted about the sell X tasks. I hate having to pile up junk. Marie Kondo and I are both appalled. On the other hand it is one of the few places in the game where cash (EPx10 spins for items to sell) can be turned fairly directly into girls. TLDR: Event is good, not great: ++ use for champ tickets, pick up boss girls as side effect, having to plan -- expensive, too time intensive, item clutter, need 4 champs unlocked

As a NA player I would just like to say to all the EU players: Have fun, if you stuck it out for years in the EU deathzones you have earned a bit of an advantage. To the NA west coast players: Ouch. I am on record as thinking the fairest thing to do would be to have 25 hour long contests and leagues that run 7 * 24 + 1 = 169 hours. That way everybody gets a shot at being in the sweet spot.

I got the 3 girls on bosses with free combativity + 1 refill (to place in a contest) with 1 1/2 days to spare. 0 to 47 shards/day with an average of almost 30/day. Excellent. Off to Jackson to work on his tier 2 girl. FFS. 3 shards in 2 1/2 days. That is about normal for me for Jackson. My last 10 days on Jackson vary from 0 to 5 per day with an average of less than 1. I guess I should not complain. Finishing early and getting 3 shards is better than having to do 2 or 3 refills and getting 1 shard. But it is a pretty stark example of how much RNG and the differing drop rates between event girls and boss girls matters.

All three are pretty hot in different ways but I got to go with 👍 Val Kelina, I like the proportions and the skin tone. As to the event. Nurses? Hentai Heroes 787272

Same for me. Pirate Naisha, Edwarda tier 2, missing in action. Shards on Athena are showing up fine. Pirate Naisha does not appear anywhere in my harem list if I search by girl name. I got 5 shards on her but she does not appear in the part shards section either.

I am staying in D3 and going orange/green until I accumulate enough purple to take another crack at D2. Due to RL the week was sloppy and I had given up on 5-15. With 20 min to go 6 easy wins and 9 probable losses remained. I was 22nd, 9 tokens short, and 242 pts back of 15th. My smallest pt gap with 15th all week was about 210. I decided to do the partial refill rather than just fight the 2 easy ops remaining. At least I would get some xp. My girls came through big time. I was wacking stronger players 10, 15 levels higher. At lot of the wins where for 16 or 17 but I only suffered 2 actual losses. I ended up 13th, 39 pts up on 16th. My 3rd last fight was the first time all week I was better than 16th. I'll take it and pretend I planned it.

I had a lot of luck this event. Dropped all 3 boss girls for free with over 2 days to spare plus got 19 on Ornella. But my proudest achievement was dropping Acadia from Pandora Witch in the 2 1/2 free days. I think I have been in Digisekai for about 4 months. Finally something to show for it! And the other 2 PW girls are both over 80 so happy dance. So 5.2 girls for free this event. Excellent.

Two weeks ago I was 2nd in my D2 by 15 pts. This week I piled up 7,605 pts. (108 players). Not good enough. 2nd by 13 pts. Beat by Mule [CNO]. And this time I did not do as many stupid things. All out of decent purple boosters so this week I am staying in D3 and using some of my orange boosters for a change.

I probably left about 10-15 pts on the table from oopsies and the winner was only 1 level higher than me so its all on me. I started this D3<->D2 yoyo thing as a bit of a lark but I am starting to get invested in it.

I just ran into somebody in D3 too weak for me to fight. One of the top players (L430, Porn Identity) showed up with such a low att/def/ego I could not attack him without scoring over 20 pts. He was running off-class L1 girls and he must have swapped in grey / low level gear because even with my worst girls (L1 off class), un-boosted, I was way more powerful. I L394 do not have any rubbish gear I can swap in. So he is too powerful for me to beat 99% of the time and too weak the other 1%. LOL I am demoting again this week so I am trying get as much xp for as few league pts as possible. I try to get only 17/18 pts per battle. Scoring 3 x 22 against him would have effectively cost me about 250 xp. I think the PI guys are running some scheme to give each other max pts because I saw another PI guy in the same league do the same thing the next day.

I was lucky on this event. Picked up all 3 girls with 1 1/2 days to spare, plus the mission girl, plus one from 5 EpP orbs I used to place in a contest. Happy Snowman22.

Well, the demote from D3 and win D2 yo-yo experiment did NOT go well. On day 3 one of the 2 players higher level than me (1 level lol) woke up and started to play. Neither of us was ever 1st but sometimes I was ahead of him, sometimes not. He was 1 level higher, same class KH, same girls, gear was 1-2% better, and his club was all 20s (mine is 16s or 17s) so overall he had about a 3-4% advantage. I had 2 hopes: 1) that he had waited too long to start and had missed sniping opportunities. 2) I had missed 23 fights and I hoped we had missed fewer. Nope. With 12 hours to go he blew by me to 7,691 pts in a 109 player bracket. 23.74 pts/fight. If I bought my 23 missed fights I would end up with about 7,600. 23.46 pts/fight. I am going to end up 2nd. On the plus side it was very bro of him to make his move before I bought my missed fights. Saved me 300 kobans. Props to Nexouille of ZubZer0.

Well here goes. I got tired of 5-15 in D3 so I demoted. It was nasty. For most of the week there were more than 15 zero pts. On day 4 16th last went to 500ish pts. That is the way it finished. I only managed about 7K xp (15% of my usual TOF take?). I am L392 in D2. Only L393 and L396 are higher. We shall see how it goes. It is nice to have the pedal to the metal booster-wise after so many months in D3 trying to min/max the reward.
