Classic event with 8 new girls present in the game: 7 girls in the Epic Pachinko, 3of which are captured by the villains, 1 girl can be obtained after completing the Daily missions.

And WTF with the calendar? The revival will come rigth after the main event and the last one lasts 7 days? That would point to a new Path of Attraction.

Yes this time seems all good not at a huge level of good but surely a lot of effort put in there. And most important thing the eyes are finally full of life so yes i think i'm pretty happy now, it seems that the artist is finally growing up in skill: whoever you are, if you read the comments, good job you are almost there keep going :) (and if you have time rework some of your old "guinea pig" girls 😜)

Meh. FYI, I've checked all the spoilers this time again. When the initial pose doesn't inspire me much, there's no point keeping the mystery. This event is all-around mediocre in terms of visuals as far as I'm concerned. Nothing outright terrible, but nothing very good either. The theme isn't bad in and of itself, but it didn't seem to inspire the team much. We have 4-5 different artists on this one, some of them better than others on a technical level and some of them with a more compelling style than others (and/or more in line with the game's overall feel and the girls reinterpreted here).

There are objectively good drawings (and excellent coloring jobs) showcased in the series of poses for Nikukawa and Delicia in particular, and mostly decent drawings for Treasure, Chamelea, Octavia and, much to my surprise, Samane! (even though I'm 99% sure the artist who handled this incarnation of her is actually our old pal Dead Eyes; who seems to have improved almost spectacularly compared to their usual output). Kalissa and Deniz were handled noticeably worse than their friends, this time around, the former being way too stiff and expressionless throughout her poses (especially considering how her series was supposed to be all about movement) and the latter just looks unfinished, despite the decent ink and color jobs over the rough pencils/sketches. I'm also glad to see a variant of Octavia with legs for a change, but I would have preferred them to be a bit better drawn than that for the occasion.

There are a number of "small" mistakes here and there, like Chamelea's left foot in the one picture that shows her barefoot (5 toes of the same size and shape, mounted on a tubular foot that doesn't go either way, so I can't even call it a left or a right foot, it's like a "center foot" basically ^^), or the absence of nails on most of the girls' fingers and toes. While we're on this issue, there are some really failed hands on a few pictures, and not too many compelling feet either, especially on Kalissa (who had the "Tanned Tachibana" treatment of vague and incorrect shapes throughout). But we've had much worse in the past.

The main thing that keeps me from enjoying these series is the lack of progression from one image to the next, the lack of even a vague theme or basic story, even as simple as a striptease with a twist or whatever. Most of these series have barely anything happening throughout them (maybe the affection scenes will be better, one can only hope... but I won't hold my breath). Most of the girls don't even take off their shoes at all! I know, it doesn't matter as much if you don't have a thing for feet, but it's still a bit lazy and a sign that they couldn't even be bothered to fully undress them in those series. I mean, you don't need to have a foot fetish for Nikukawa's high socks and sneakers, or Treasure's nondescript shoes to kill the mood, do you? Make stuff happen between the pictures. Don't give us essentially the same pic two or three times in a row with a small, unexciting change each time. We get well enough of that snore fest in the Adventure mode as it is!

So yeah. Technically, nothing terrible like we had in the past, and there's even some progress for the one (formerly particularly bad) artist, but it's just not interesting, let alone exciting at all as a package. I'm going to play this event based on which villain I need to level up the most rather than which girl I'm the most eager to collect. That's not a great sign. You guys can do a lot better than that. *Raises hand* Actually, as someone who's a bit of a leg man, I wouldn't mind if a girl keeps her shoes on.  Some of my favorites girls I collected are those that do.  I've always found full nudity to be a bit boring, really.  Going back to Treasure, I'm a bit to shoes as others are to feet.  If you're going to draw them (especially heels), have them look as if they would be wearing them, otherwise it just looks unnatural.

Overall, disappointing that the only new girl is Pachinko exclusive.  Though Octavia this time went from "Hell no" to "Alright" (Not really a fan of monster girls).  The fact that the girls obtainable from villains are not legendary would make one think they could obtain them all without any refills (let alone only three), but I've been proven wrong before...

Drop range depends on the event type only, and not on rarity of the girl. Last year anniversary featured only mission girls associated with trolls (at least at the beginning), so they were all rare girls, but since the drop range was 1-4 shards, the only way of rescuing one of them in 4 days of event without refilling combativity was getting a lucky x100 drop.

During main event, drop range is 2-8 shards. With a ~ 10% drop rate, it means that, on average, it takes 200 fights to get one girl, 600 for all three, and in 12 days of event (without considering leagues combativity points rewards) one could get 50 x 12 = exactly 600 free combativity points. On average, it is possible to get them without any refill, sometimes RNGod has a different opinion

Fair enough. To each their own. But ideally, there should be room for both. The final pic of a pose series at the very least should show very close to or actually full nudity. Whichever state of partial undress one prefers should be found in some of the intermediate poses. Based on our respective preference, a full striptease-like series could have your favorite pose as say, #2 and mine as #3, but a series that stops the strip process halfway through will never satisfy me. Seems like a bit of waste to me.

You can be proven wrong right now: the rarity of a girl never has anything to do with her drop rate or range. You should know that. Maybe you do know the actual facts like the constant, universal 10% drop rate, and the specific drop ranges for each type of girl (eg not based on rarity but on type of event, or which villain or tier she's available on for non-event girls), but you're still superstitious or a conspiracy theorist, I don't know, but if not, I suggest you look it up (or ask around).

I've also seen the spoilers. Viewing them zoomed-in leaves a different impression.

I liked Octavia. Treasure and Kalissa look more interesting up close - liked those too. Nikukawa is well drawn too.

btw Kalissa is not a dead-eye as I feared. Look closer (maximize image if needed) - her eyes and face is alive unlike those last incarnations of Hari and Nuladva.

 

The boss girls - Delicia, Deniz and Chamelia. Drawings are ok, I guess, but all three of them look rather boring in their poses. EDIT: Maybe I was a bit harsh.

Samane is a special case of facepalm. Faces need not look that flat and bland. Poses also kinda boring.

By the way, other than the 7 days event at the end of the month that should/could be a path of attraction v.2 event, as @Eman said (and "confirms" the alternance PoA/LC someone had supposed in legendary contest threads), I wanted to point the fact that the event that starts right after "Girl Next Door" is a 4 days event, while the third event of the month is a 5 days one. 

Can we assume that they intend to have the 4 days anniversary event before the orgy days (maybe to give us some days more between two events that demand a lot of kobans as Annyversary and PoA)?

This sums it up for me: not interesting, not exciting. And I'm still not over the girls' new versions looking too different from the originals.

These past weeks (months), I have had plenty of time to finish the daily missions, but I didn't. I think the game lost the thrill it used to have (it's the little things: a surprise drop, an exciting animation, girls that look like girls), and that makes me forget to come back to the site and do the daily missions. And I think the reason's quite simple: I'm not interested in acquiring virtually any of the girls anymore. As a matter of fact, I was only interested in Delicia this time around, but after fighting thirty times without a single shard drop and then seeing her poses, I'm won't event try anymore. 

And if I don't feel like acquiring the girls, what's the point of playing, really? I think I'm out.

In my opinion, it would be odd to change the order of the events. And, if their goal is to make us spend as much money many kobans as possible, the having the Anniversary and PoA one after the other is a good way to make that happen.

That is, of course, if this year's anniversary is better than the one from last year, because if it's like that one... well, many of use won't have any reason to spend a koban.

Regarding the event, it's a shame that Samane is a Pachinko girl, but you can't always get what you want.

But, isn't it weird that the Girls Next door happen to be a cosmic entity of fire, a jellyfish girl and a shapeshifter? What kind of neighbourhood is that?! 😂

The artist we call "Dead-eyes" did Kalissa. I am not a fan of green-skinned girls, but I like the group as a whole, nice art-work. I actually spent $30 in kobans to try the Event Pachinko but didn't get anything I could use (two of the legendary items were the same thing), so I sold everything back. Given the mechanics of the game concerning shard drops, I'll go for girls being held by villains with multiple girls and hope to get at least one girl beside the mission girl, which is almost a guaranteed gain.

 

So yes, I like the event idea enough to play for it on the free side but not enough to drain resources going for the Pachinko girls beyond what I have already spent.

And he got the hair colour and the shape both wrong. The hair should be bigger, supersaiyan-like. Such a pity, since she was one of my favs from all the stories.

You should be grateful to them, if it were up to me, you wouldn't see a single foot in the entire game 🤣

I would like to say i love every part of a woman body, but unfortunately i can't: i don't like feet at all, IMO they always go from simply unattractive to downright revolting. So yeah, i would love if every single girl in every single pose / affection scene would keep her shoes on, but that's just me.
There are definitely more barefoot girls than not in the game, so i don't think you can complain much about that. Maybe i should...

Sorry to nitpick, guys, but no, it wasn't Dead Eyes who drew this event's version of Kalissa. I'm not comfortable mixing up different artists under the same umbrella term. The roster has been quite large over time, and it rotated quite a lot over the past year or so. Just like there's more than one great artist (Ben is the most recognizable and acclaimed one in the community, but several others also provided awesome work), there are/were more than just one subpar artist employed by Kinkoid (or doing freelance work for them, more likely), and plenty of artists whose works fall somewhere in between the two extremes as well. I can't identify them all with certainty, but there are quite a few whose work I can recognize fairly easily.

It's another artist than "Dead Eyes" who handled Kalissa this time around, whose work we've already seen in the past as well, I'm pretty sure, and who also has a lot of room for improvement, let's say, but who has a completely different style, approach and also different issues. The guy we call Dead Eyes, if he contributed to this event (and if it's not a guy, then I'm sorry but I can only guess here), I'm almost certain that his contribution was Samane instead. And, although not great either, that's much better than anything I can 100% attribute to Dead Eyes so far, for which I even noted his progress (if it's indeed the same artist I'm thinking of).

Dead Eyes: Holiday, Kryll, Mitsu, Tainted Hari, Wicked Nuladva, Polana, Yaya, Fortune Teller Carine (and other atrocities from the Circus event)...

Possibly Dead Eyes, but most likely a different though somewhat similar (and equally challenged) artist (or maybe even more than one): Selene, Melissa, Natasha, Melody, Lima, LuxuriousBody...

Guy who drew Ticket Inspector Kalissa: also drew Homely Treasure from this very same event, 100% sure, and 100% not at all the same artist referred to as Dead Eyes in my list above. Probably also drew: Lovely Cori, Lopussy, Lil' Red, Tentacled Treasure, and maybe as far back as Lemia, among others. All in all, it's more of a hit or miss artist than someone who consistently does botched work, but still far from superstar material out of the recurring artists in the roster.

^^ Well, to each their own of course (and our respective owns could not be further apart in that regard, which is fine). But yeah, one of the appeals of this game's visual style and aesthetics at least initially when I noticed this game and started playing it was definitely the fact that most of the girls appeared barefoot regularly, and that, more often than not (left foot on a right leg syndrome notwithstanding), the core artists of the first few years actually knew how to draw feet (and how to draw, period, more generally) unlike a somewhat concerning number of artists in more recent times. I even suspect that this new trend of avoiding feet in more and more drawings is not a coincidence, when I see how deformed some pictures have them.

Then again, going by this logic, we should see a new trend of constantly blindfolded girls arise fairly soon, as a "solution" to some of the current artists being incapable to draw eyes convingly... V__v

So, as someone witha foot and footwear fetish, i say the shoes are mostly not too detailed or well drawn, often the same for toes. Normally socks or sneakers i don't mind/like (in the first poses, agree with them coming off 😜 ), but i'd say the "details" are often neglected there, i guess it depends on the artist and their taste as well. There is some decent poses here and there though, like Cori's 2*, but nothing too detailed either.

For this event, i like Delicia, Chamelea, Treasure , Samane and Kalissa, but aside from Pachinko luck, i can get none of them, i'm at the end of Edwarda's chapter. Have yet to check the stats, but i guess it should be ok.

PS: Though i always wondered, at highest affection it unlocks a girl's fetish iirc, but i didn't see a foot fetish even once, at least when going through the charm girls, which is my specialization. Even if you don't share that one, which is fine, that seems unlikely. Tastes/kinks are all over the place.
