noob question Brand-New Player - Why PoA Isn't For Me Yet (And More)

Didn't find another Topic with Complaints for this Event, so i post it here. Maybe if there is, just move this Post.

 

Is it just me, or does anyone else have the Problem not getting even close to reaching one Girl at "Kinkquisition"?

I started HentaiHeroes about 2 1/2 Weeks ago, am at Level 168 and can reach 3 Champions.

So to perform 25 Times for Tier 6 it will take me at least 3 Days, the additional 30 Times for Tier 9 supposedly another 4 Days.

Not to mention that 30 Times defeating Players at Leagues or Season are challenging as well and will take another Day or two, to finally get the first Girl.

 

In my Opinion this is just poorly balanced, but on the other hand, I wondered, how I should do Awakening in Daily Goals in the first few Days as a fresh Starter. 😉

So there seems to be a Method here.

 

Funny Thing, in ComixHarem i can't even perform Champions, didn't reach the needed Quest, although I started almost at the same Time with nearly comparable Effort.

The Event is called "Tight & Precise Strikers" there and I would need only 10 and 15 Times to succeed, if I could.

 

In PornstarHarem it is called "Yoga Session" and there are only 2 and 4 Times required.

 

Not sure what I shall make of these very different Tasks, HH is not manageable in this short time, CH not possible at all, PH is just too easy.

And it's not just you, but it's not this event either. Advanced events are not meant for fresh meat. Also, from now on, just ASK your new player questions here. Don't "complain" about stuff you haven't grasped yet. That's not a good mindset to have right from the tutorial of a years-long game. Welcome, and good luck, rookie.

@Der DinX These events are called Path of Attraction. They occur at the end of each month. For low-mid level players, it can take a month to prepare enough resources to complete the events especially ymen and tickets. It isn't easy but the rewards worth the hassle. There is also some planning involved to maximize the rewards. Just do your best for now, don't spend kobans to open the bonus path. Learn how the event and the game work first. Figure out a strategy for next month. Once you do, it will be one of your favorite events of the game.

Pornstar Harem is still in beta testing. It is basically a light version of HH. Resource earning is still lacking. That's why its PoA tasks don't look as difficult but they are difficult in other aspects.

I noticed that some of the Events aren't meant to be done by Newbies, because my Level isn't high enough or I haven't reached the required World.
As far I was able to reach the first Girl in other Events, the second was obvious not to get.
And that is just alright, there has to be something to look forward too in the Long run.

But I wasn't under the Impression, this is one of the not reachable kind of Events, as Tiers 1-5 are done in Minutes or Hours and give you part of the needed resources for the next Tier.
And I don't lack the resources, it's just Time. I have more than 100 Tickets for Champions in Stock, there are just not enough Champions to perform in that short Period.

For the first Champion I don't even bother looking which Girls, in what order he drafted. Not sure if there is a Chance to get more than only one attempt to finish,
The second takes me two, maybe three tries.
Only the third gives me a Chance to perform several times.

So in comparison to reach the first Girl, those two Tiers with Champions are in my Opinion way harder to accomplish, then the Rest which seem rather ordinary .

After all, at first look it didn't seem that the Event wasn't made for me to get a Girl.
Well then, 2 or maybe 4 Orbs and 6 Tickets will have to do.
*Edit* (Forgot the Money, although I had to spend it for the next Tier, it was well spent 😉) *Edit*

Maybe next Month there is a better Chance, with more Champions to perform to.

For players that haven't leveld the first champions wide enough (every time you beat them, they grew in strength) it's necessary to weak themselves for the champion attacks in the PoA. That means: If you have booster equipped, wait until they run out, change your equipment to the lowest you have access to, change the draft so, that you have weak girls without matching poses. With this, you will be able to do much more attacks against a champ as now.

One of the preparations to fullfill the champion tasks in PoA is at the start to level the champs after the PoA some times. If Romero and Whatty (Champ 1 and 2)  reach lvl6 or 7 it will be much easier to do the tastks even with the weak first champs. But be aware that the later champions are stronger from the start so you shouldn't rush the higher champs so much, they are hard enough an will be much harder every level.

If you want an easy way to spend tickets on champions, join a club.

In pretty much any club, at your level, you'll do 0.001% damage per ticket on the Club Champion, so you can spend as many tickets as you want.

I wasn't' even considering that as an Option.

Many clubs are inactive and don't set any restrictions on members; you can probably just join a random club and hit the champion. I did that for a while before joining a more serious (?) club

An advice: If you want to stick to this game, save 6 pieces of the lowest level and rarity equipment you can get now and don't ever sell them. You'll always have uses for them.

You just need 6 pieces of harmony (one for each gear position), level is not important. Use them for fights against low level champions in PoA.

Personally I find this is overkill once you have the champions at high levels. I just draft bad girls with low stats for Romero and don't bother drafting at all for Whaty, and that ensures I never have to worry about clearing them half-way through the event.

I said "against low level champions" as when you are in your first months, or in Pornstar Harem that currently has only one champion.

Of course In HH I attack my high level champions at full power and I still need a full day to finish them.

Yeah, at lower level, you can one-shot a champion even without drafting. You have to be extra careful. Using dedicated items sounds very reasonable

If you're strong enough to one-shot the champion without a draft then they won't stay low-level for very long. 

Maybe things have changed since I was lower level, but back when champions were new the big limiting factor was tickets. I remember struggling with the first few PoA's because I just didn't have the ticket income to deal with that. While PoP exists now to give a more reliable source of ticket income, a new player won't have those upgraded for a while.

Edit: also champions are no longer a good place to farm ymens. Back when they were first introduced champions were by far the best way for a mid-low level player to farm for ymens. As a result you really wanted to spend all your tickets if you could do so. This is no longer the case, and Places of Power for GPx10 orbs are really the only good way to farm ymens (even after their nerf, they're still the best).

Not that everybody isn't giving good advice in a vacuum, but I feel this is a bit too much considering the number one thing about @Der DinX's situation in HH right now is that they're at very early stages of their potential journey here. Unless and until we get confirmation from them that they're okay with the idea of playing a game where it takes years to reach max level, catch up on the story mode, and make significant progress in the PvP, collection and other areas...

All of this is likely to be too much too early. Give them a few weeks or maybe even a month or so, by next PoA they should start figuring out if that's going to work for them long term or not.

Well, all this is very useful Information and it helps very much.
Also it tells me, this Game is much more complex than just spending some Energy to watch funny Pics. 😉

And just to give a little Feedback how much this has helped, I've finished the first Tier and right now I'm sure to succeed the second Tier with Champions today or tomorrow.
So there should be just enough time left to do Tier 10 and get the Girl, as long as a can win 30 Times  in Leagues or Season.

 

Guess I'll dig a bit deeper in the Forum to look for more Information, although it might be a bit difficult if I don't know what to look for exactly.
Tried searching a few things so far and wasn't very successful.

Anyway, many thX to all of you, as far as I can tell, this Game means something to you. 🧐

Yes, I found those indeed and they are very informative to get a first Impression.
But they can't deliver the Details of long Time Experience and naturaly are not intended to do so.

I was looking for an Explanation to "Narcissism, Wildburst, Reassurance" at Champions, how it works and if I can have any Influence on it.
Cause until now Narcism is much more effective than the right Pose.

Another Question would be, does the Script still work? Doesn't with me, but it is quite possible that my Browser is just not doing his job.

Theese are relics from the old battlesystem previous B.D.S.M. and are the names of the critical hits of the relevant classes:

Hardcore: Deals an attack with normal damaged that is 1.5x, it is called Wild Burst.

Charm:  An effect called Narcissism will double your defense against the next 2 attacks. If this triggers consecutively, it will stack for x4 defense.

Know How: You will heal 10x of your max Ego on your next attack, it is called Reassurance

Today the critical hits are no more different for the classes without the exception of the Champion battles.

The script work to me, so it seems that this is sadly a problem from your side. Cross the fingers that you can solve the problem fast!

It's worth noting that one of the reasons this was changed is that the three abilities are not equal. The hardcore ability is much, much weaker than the other two in almost all circumstances. An activation of Narcissism or Reassurance will let you survive an extra attack, letting you attack one extra time before you're defeated. This is actually better than it sounds, because that attack could also trigger Narcissism or Reassurance and continue a chain which could result in insanely lucky damage. So always remember that you want to avoid Hardcore girls in champion drafts unless it's specifically a pose match.
