Season 23 seems to have cleared this up anyway with reports of 100 and 101 players confirming a total of 2517 (we'd have had no 100's at 2532). And likewise the current Season 24 appears to have 2667 players in S3 indeed, based on the reported 102 and 103 players. (No 103's possible on 2652, no 102's on 2682.) So, that's 46xx -> 48xx -> 50xx almost certainly confirmed as the progression for S2. It remains to be seen if that tier will continue to increase by 2 brackets each week, or if it's going to start deviating soon. For now the above projections remain operative through Season 26. Instead of boosting only ego, he used a new multistat legendary and five monostat legendary gear, and max boosted his attack power. We are going to see many different strategies from now on.
