  1. My problem is unexpectedly poor drops of shards. Usually I have little trouble getting both Villain girls just from natural combativity regen during the course of the event. In the first 5 days I managed only to get Jingle to 68 shards. On the 6th AND the 7th I got 2 Jingle shards each day, period. I admit my combativity hit full twice in those five days, thanks to work/sleep timing, but I couldn't have lost more than 6 or 7 fights worth. I ended up buying a bundle with 120 combativity in it and even with that I've only JUST unlocked Krampus today, with 17 hours left of the contest. Jingle remains at 68. For the first time since the start of CxH I think I'm going to miss out on one of the non-Pachinko Classic Contest girls. Did adding Gems as a possible result change the stats? If it's the RNG alone then its been kicking me in the nuts consistently since Awakenings was released.
  2. Okay, thanks! Also: Okay, ouch. The RNG did NOT like me yesterday. And yes, there was one girl on offer in Mythic. Finally... The casino always wins because a sucker like me will always come back, lol.
  3. I'm sure someone has done the math - here or over at HxH - if the statistics are in fact the same, or not. Just curious to know, 'cause I can't imagine why anyone would BUY orbs given what I just experienced. I don't mean to sound like a whiny b****, but... I came 1st in a contest literally about using orbs in the Night Club. That was something like 30 10xGreat Orbs, 35 1xMythic Orbs and 20 1xEpic Orbs. And I didn't manage to get a single girl out of the entire lot. Nada. Is this just me really getting bad luck... or is this legitimately the way the odds are stacked?
  4. Mmmmm, tha's niiiice. If some Dev could just put that in on my in-game profile, right alongside my Tower bracket rankings?
  5. Right now it's actually better to come 26th or lower in contest rankings, get $7,920 and a combativity redeemable for at least $10,500 (or a Green Orb, Gems, 10 frags of a 1-star girl) from maxed out Athicus Ho'ole, totaling $18,420, than it is to rank between 11th and 25th and just get $15,900 and no combativity at all.
  6. It might just be that somewhere in the back-end is a timer or clock that hasn't been corrected -or was rolled back during the Great Rollback - since/before Daylight Savings kicked in.
  7. The opponents aren't selected based on their stats vs yours, unfortunately. I mean it would be nice if you didn't get served 3 opponents, everyone of them hopped up on boosters. They're all within a hundred or so Mojo of your score. The ratio of those weaker than you to those stronger than you varies accordingly. Keep winning time after time, raising your Mojo and you are likely to climb to the same level as stronger players who likewise had many easy wins, therefore higher Mojo. But yes, I agree that I find it likely that this Awakening update will create some mega-powerful super-whales. People willing to sink hundreds of dollars will buy the gems, the XP items and just raise their girls to 400, then 450 and so on. While those who haven't got the disposable income for such things will not only stay stuck under lower caps but they'll struggle significantly to compete against pay-to-win players in contests, seasons, the tower which will only serve to make some kinds of gems more difficult for them to get, which will even more so keep them held-back.
  8. Yeah, I'm still trying to wrap my head around the new gem thing and its so late at night I haven't the brain power to devote to it. Not going to go using them - or the freebie girl XP - until I know the right strategy for it.
  9. You gotta admit though, it's a bit on the nose. At level 213 by base stats for Hardcore, Charm and Know-How are between 13,000 and 14,000. With an 'Epic Minute Man Potion' I would get a +1,225 to each of them. With a 'Legendary Minute Man Potion' I would get +6% to each of them: ~780 to ~840. Yet the Legendary boosters are more expensive than the Epics, in terms of Gold/Kobans. Sure, later on +6% will be a better booster than a fixed figure but that's not going to be at level 200. Probably not even at level 300. Despite that the boosters offered to over 200s are only the ones that cost more Gold/Kobans.
  10. Here's a good strategy I've found which helps me in Season. Have two teams: 1) The best girls you can put together for when you are performing, obviously. 2) A team composed of the weakest 1-star girls for when you are waiting for kisses to replenish and aren't performing. Why would you do that? Well, the first thing to understand is that your final ranking in the Season is meaningless, except for bragging rights. Whether you come 1st or 1,000th is irrelevant. What matters is if you reach the 51st Tier. If you do you've gotten 99% of the loot even the 1st ranked player did. The second thing you need to realise is that the only way to lose Mojo is to attack an opponent and lose. If an opponent attacks you and beats you? That's no problem for you and your Mojo is unchanged. Why does that matter? If you switch out for a weak team of 1-star girls whenever you are out of kisses or waiting for them to regenerate that will let weaker players - whose best team of girls couldn't beat your best team - challenge you and beat you. They will gain Mojo which will bring them into the same group of players as you. Likewise players whose best team of girls is too strong for you to beat will see that they can easily beat you, do so and gain Mojo, pushing them up and further above you in the rankings. The result? Once your kisses refill and you switch to your strongest team you'll see that more of the players at a similar Mojo level as you are now weaker and less of them are stronger. And doing all of this? It costs you nothing. Since I adopted this policy - combined with a bit of patience when I get a few bad offerings in the opponents drawn - I've had significantly fewer losses. Admittedly it was a bit worse since the Tower of Fame was implemented but after setting my 1-star girl team and waiting a couple days I started getting more opponents I could beat than I couldn't.
  11. More Pachinko-only girls and worse results, in my experience of things. I bought the bundle for 3 event orbs and purchased all 4 of the avatars for 1200 gold, just to eliminate them from the odds. Three event orbs, no girls. It's shit like this that makes me not want to spend any money on the game. 'High chance' my ass.
  12. Don't get me wrong, I'm very happy to have Leagues in CxH. More XP, a little additional gold coming my way each week... But I was surprised that they didn't even rename or re-skin it in anyway, to fit the theme of CxH better or just distinguish it from a total clone/port. If they do eventually add the ability of players to group themselves into clubs, like in HxH, I sincerely hope that they at least rename it from 'Club'. Superheroes don't gather together in 'clubs', lol. They have leagues, oh wait, that's already taken. Maybe just label it 'HQ' or 'Team'?
  13. Last time an event gave me the opportunity to empty my excess equipment into the market I could have flogged an Orange/Epic piece of equipment for ~$50K, now it's barely offering ~$25K for a Purple/Legendary equip. I'll also note that the nerf didn't seem to bring down the cost of BUYING equipment (not that I ever do that) from the market with the cost there being ~$207K and ~$315K for a piece of Orange/Epic and Purple/Legendary, respectively. If people thought it was hard to get started for cash-poor noobs trying to upgrade their girls when the beta first started then just imagine trying to retain/attract new players now when its even harder to scrape together cash to upgrade girls.
  14. I was lined up for 300 gold in CxH daily mission, went back to finish spending my combativity 5 mins before rollover to lock that in and now I have no idea if I was still top of table or not when the update came. Also, pretty much every other meter is probably topping out right now, since I usually save Seasons kisses, tower fights and so on to be at or near max for whatever mission comes up the next day. I really hate long drawn out, unannounced maintenance.
  15. I've managed to get 3 of the 1-star girls to 60% so far, it does take a fair bit of time but I figure most days I get at least one 10 fragment pop-up from combat. The good news is that if you manage to get 100 frags of a 1-star girl from a 10-orb Great Game in the Night Club if the girl yielded is one you have already collected some frags for from random combat rewards, i.e. one of my 60 frag girls was won in the Night Club, then the excess frags are converted into affection items, worth +130 affection each, if I remember correctly. And 60 times +130 affection is +7800 affection, almost enough to completely fill the 3rd star of affection on an Epic girl or about $3.2 million worth of affection items purchased in the Market.
  16. Patiently waiting for rollover, ready to start the next day's missions and collect on the daily contest... First the contest doesn't end on rollover, instead it has an hour left on it. Okay I figure, maybe wherever the servers are hosted has daylight savings or something? Then the missions tab shows this: So, we're all taking Halloween off? Feels more like a trick than a treat... 🤣
  17. So, finishing 'On the Prowl' I can't help but notice that Chinchica doesn't join your harem? Bunny Girl? Added. Unknown? She's there. Darkling? Joins up at the end of those chapters. Chinchica? MIA. Which seems like somewhat of a departure from the feature girl/hero in every previous world in ComixHarem (and for that matter HentaiHeroes, what I've completed of it).
  18. ... so, unlike Bunny Girl, Unknown or Darkling in the previous worlds, we don't actually add Chinchica to our harems from this last one? Because that seems a bit weird, just saying.
  19. ... more income might matter more, if the cost of Great Games in the Night Club didn't instantly/directly scale with income. If one actually knew the odds on rolling a 1-star girl in the Night Club then it would be possible to calculate whether it would be better to invest in raising the affection of girls in one's harem to raise their hourly income by a couple hundred bucks vs. mining for 1-star girls that yield a fresh near $1000 source. It makes the question of whether it's worth upgrading any girl who isn't going to be in your combat/season team worth your while.
  20. With the new 'Cyber Cuties' dropping I notice that once again it requires energy being spent for both Tier 7 and 14, 120 and 240 energy respectively. I sincerely hope at some point soon there will be some option added to allow players who reached the end of content to do so... otherwise it's going to be a bit hard completing it. I also note that in the cookie-cutter fashion with which the event was cloned from Hentai Heroes that it gives players the option to go to 'Champions' in order to expend energy... a feature that doesn't exist in Comix Harem.
  21. I'm stuck in an infinite loop. At least once or twice a day I'm being prompted to validate my email address... which I'd love to do. I tell the game to re-send my confirmation email, I go to my mail and click the link in the email and after a bit it loads up Comix Harem. Bunny Girl helpfully informs me that the email address is already validated. But if I go to Settings it still says I need to validate my email, the prompt will reappear shortly thereafter and going to: https://www.comixharem.com/support.html ? Once more prompts me to validate my email. Never had this problem validating my email for Hentai Heroes.
  22. Well that's it, I've run out of ways to spend my energy. I held off as long as I could, leaving 500+ energy unclaimed in the Season until the end of the month and spending only my regenerating capacity but now my monthly card handily dropped it all on me at once and I've spent it. With a little over a 100 left I'm left standing around twiddling my thumbs. Don't get me wrong, I know the game is in Beta and that content doesn't magically fall out of the sky through no effort... but it does seem like a foreseeable outcome for beta-testers that they might reach this point and some sort of, even temporary, mechanic would have been smart. I like the game, really. I want to keep playing it. But I've found myself in this situation before, where I got bored waiting for some aspect of a game to be either updated or not-boring anymore and gone looking for something else to play... and never come back. Given this is one of the few times I've made the exception to my usual rule of miserly penny-pinching I'm even more loathe to walk away. Just throwing this out here but... why no way to convert excess energy into kisses? Any advantage gained by players who've got energy to spend that way over those still going through content will just get wiped along with the Mojo reset at the end of the month anyway. Or, given you've literally added a heroine with time-manipulation powers - No-Gone - and a side-quest where she apparently has repeated the same rendezvous over and over again... why not have a side-quest that only flags as available when there's no unfinished side-quests, 'Deja Vu All Over Again' where you just hook up with No-Gone over and over again. Nerf the **** out of the XP rewards or just have it be the way to convert energy into kisses. Especially considering the fact PoA now needs so many Season fights to complete. Hell, turn excess energy into combat. I'd rather rake in a few more paltry $5.5K payouts over and over than have my energy at cap. I'm a patient grinder when needed, I'll happily eek out rare awards of 10 frags for all those 1-star heroines day after day, week after week or scrounge up cash and blow it on 10-orb Great Games at the night club for the same outcome... but the grinder in me rebels against having a meter full that I just can't spend for even an inch more progress.
