Yes, that's the case as far as I know. Dark Sun 1 & 2 are my favourite games from SSI era, along with Stronghold, which I finished, I don't know, 5 or 6 times. I recently played this one again thanks to GOG. It's as buggy as always . Dark Sun is also my favourite d&d setting, with Ravenloft being a close second.
