For me, it all depends on May new mythic.

If I particularly like her poses to the point I'd really want her, I'll probably get those cards since they are a form of little discount on CPs.

I would have bought the card(s) and got the May new mythic no matter what, since I like a lot all 4 the SE girls, and mythics, even those who are not my top favourite ones, are usually really good. Now they have to pull out a majestic mythic in May, to make me give them kobans during this event.

This screwup could be the beginning of the end for this game. I'm might get banned for this post, and I don't care.

We've seen that Kinkoid doesn't understand how to properly use a test server as a test bed. This is very bad, but it is not uncommon to have people who deal with system upgrades be completely incompetent when it comes to this. The nicest thing that can be said is that while they are incompetent at this, at least they aren't IT professionals. Trust me in that you don't want incompetents installing a new company accounting system or system module - especially payment management or taxes.

In what other computing environment is a test server more stable than the main server because they don't do any testing there?

Releasing a money grab event at a time where many many players shift playstyles to make it work out for them, leaving shards until mythic day 3, and saving tons of resources. They don't test it with the new code releases, and (lady)bugs everywhere.

Lots of saved resources and time were spent early to start generating points and work on getting the Mythic girl.   This leaves a bad taste in people's mouths and I expect a number of long-time players to drop as this will be the straw that breaks their back.

In my opinion, PornStar Harem and the related games that use real porn are likely where the cash inflows will be coming for them moving forward. No art expense, cheap to license old films and pay some royalties, and it's all percentages of revenue or profits if they are doing it right, unless the fees are really cheap. 

HH was the game that got them there, but it's pretty much time to get the script coders' work integrated into the main game engine for ease of use, compensate them in some way, and call the game done, and not release new event types.

I woke up, and nap didn't fix everything, but at least I know to move forward w/ the MD.

I wasn't really affected by all of this ladybug BS, b/c I didn't purchase any of the SE's cards, besides the free one.

I also didn't buy any CP for the MD while the SE had just begun, so it's not like I really lost legit progress in the SE tied to the MD.

Wouldn't it have been great if this bug didn't occur, and we got the progress from 2 MDs for the SE?

But nah, since the rollout wasn't tested, it seems they needed an extra day to fix it.  Who knows if it'll even be fixed by tomorrow.  The statement said it would, but I'd be cautious tomorrow too, honestly.

I feel for players that might've spent kobans on the SE's cards, that's 6k kos, it should be refunded.  They got nothing for it, if progress is being reset, unless they get to keep the cards once it starts, who knows, we'll see.

I don't appreciate the tone in the issues update, as if players used the bug as an exploit.  You would've triggered the bug regardless of what you did.  I saw it once or twice after getting the free card, and I was just playing normally.  The fault lies upon the game developers, not the players.  If players got more than 100 CP or kisses, I don't really care, you should leave them alone, it's your fault, not ours.

I'm grateful I was busy making threads and stuff at the start, otherwise I might've progressed in the SE, and been more affected by the bugs and removal of the event.

PS:  I'd like L5 Norou to appear in the MP tomorrow, as compensation for my mild mental anguish.  She's been missing for 3 years, that's F'd up.  Thanks in advance.

Good thing I hate this "event" so much that I didn't even claim the free card and just went about Mythic farming with Sandalwood as per usual. No skin off my nose.

Sucks for anyone who actually wanted to participate and spent resources doing so.

I don't mind that they are restarting the event and I don't mind if they reimburse the spent klobans but stripping people of any girls they won using the fists, such as the mystic, due to your mistake is garbage. I have canceled my patreon and will be leaving the game. I encourage others to cancel any patreon membership even if you decide not to leave the game.

Wow. I see they are handling this with their usual professionalism and grace.
All I'm saying is, if they take away my extra rewards, I got through their failings, I better get the Kobans I spend on the card AND on the fights and season fights, back.

I've played the game only casually for a long time now, with the approach, don't waste time and thought on it, and I was fine with not always getting everything or missing deadlines etc.. It was either that or walk away completely, but I had fun with the story and didn't get worked up over the other stuff anymore.

But if I lose Koban and the Mythic Girl, just because kinkoid screwed it up once more, good riddance.

One of them cost Like 50+bucks glad I Finished the mythic before they dropped the SE BS on us only thing i Lost was 17💋 most from natural regen i will probably use the koban cards when Titania Returns MDR😉

Some might have missed it as it was absent from the text version posted first, but it was included in the screenshot Holy posted later on:

"All players who purchased seasonal cards will have them available once the event goes live."

This means no refund, but you'll be stuck with the card(s) you bought (even though some of the reasons that may have pushed you to buy them early got removed).

They also said:

"All players will have their seasonal event progression reset and Shards from the event removed."

This means we'll lose all progress regardless of whether or not it had anything to do with their bug. I'll get 0 points for the first batch of stored Fists I've used for the MD while SE was running, and if I understand correctly, MM will neither get back his extra kobans nor get the SE progress he spent them for.

As for situations such as botc76's or Antimon's clubmate's, I'm honestly not 100% sure what to make of this very Kinkoid phrasing:

"Players who have received more than 100 Combativity/Kisses from the exploit will have rewards received since the exploit, from all features using Combativity/Kisses, removed"

Sounds to me like "we'll remove stuff you earned by using Fists and/or Kisses while the bug was going on", which would include the MD girl (or parts of her somehow? that would be so cruel...). Another less dramatic interpretation could be they only mean rewards people might have claimed from the SE reward track itself. It would be redundant with the other line about all players having all their SE progress reset to zero, but I guess they wanted to put emphasis on this. Presumably because they approached this like people using an exploit. Which is particularly unpleasant because...

Not only that. I had the "hey you received +15 bugs" popup multiple times, and it had both the basic "Claim" (or "OK" can't remember) option on the left, and the "Claim All" button on the right. Clicking on the former only triggered the popup again, so after the second time or so I clicked on "Claim All" instead to make it go away.

So it's very possible that what will look like deliberately exploiting the bug from Kinkoid's perspective will be people simply trying to make the buggy popup go away (possibly even expecting it to be a visual bug only, as I did initially).

Anyway. We've said all there was to be said, I feel. Thank you all for that I won't be holding my breath for good news, but we'll have to see how things roll out tomorrow.

Absolutely. I got Sifra ~35 minutes after reset and purposely did not use sandalwood perfume so that I get more points in SE. I bought 1703 Combativity with Koban. Otherwise I would have used sandalwood perfume. Now that the ladybugs are removed, I lost ~7000 Koban. This must be a joke! @Tohru - Kinkoid

 

I completely understand your disappointment and I share it.

When I saw the ton of gems available for mythic Sifra, the cumpetition with the trolls and the new event that just started with one point per troll fight, I rushed to fight Finalmecia to get Sifra.

I lost thousands of fights and points for an event that will be reset without any compensation. The strongest thing is when I read that we should almost be happy that we didn't get a ban...

Is it possible, as a commercial gesture, to retroactively recover the points in combativity for those who spent kobans ?

Wow, I was happy to get Sifra despite huge efforts (Mythic with most fights needed, therefore spend not only a small amount of real money), but with seasonal event in mind.

Now it was for Sifra only and I may even get removed some of her shards?

If that decision stays as annouced, I will say goodbye an may even try to get my money back...

My understanding is a bit different. For anyone who purchased the free card, they only got unlimited free ladybugs as a reward. However, for players who purchased the kobans and/or cash cards, they also got unlimited free combativity and kisses as a reward (Spend 1 fist or kiss, gain 30+ fists and kisses for free, enjoy the snowball).

I think that's the part that will be removed. Which is fair to be honest. What's not fair is that if mythic days progress is removed *after* the end of MD, then these players will not have another chance to get Sifra. Players should have a chance to get her normally.

Unfortunately, it seems that KK went "a bit" overboard (anyone surprised?), as some players who didn't even get any of the kobans cards also got Sifra shards removed. I wonder how frequent this is?

I think we should get another redo MDR at the end of the month, just like w/ Esme.  It won't affect me, since I got Sifra already.  It's not like it costs them anything.  The bug wasn't the players' fault.  Removing the MD progress for a bug in a poorly tested event is too sad.  Some players might not realize it happened, and they'll be outraged tomorrow.  Doesn't make sense to force them to wait a year for her return.  Hopefully, that's what happens, an MDR. 

The bug w/ Esme was just a dumb 2% stat deficiency, which was fixed before she even left, and she got an MDR.  I did a poll, and no one even cared about the -2% stats.  This lady-bug was way worse, w/ higher expectations, b/c of the nice overlap w/ the CbC/PoV, a sensual M6, and a lot of resources involved.  Players in different time zones across the world might be asleep, and not realize some of Sifra's progress was removed, robbing them of the chance to rectify it before she's gone.

Sifra got removed, and the two girls from the main event "magically erotic babes", too, got removed even if he got them with 20 CPs from natural regen (one simply completed after 4 days of troll fights, the other one thanks to a super early lucky x100), used BEFORE buying the buggy SE cards, so no exploited CPs on them.

Can't say if they removed them completely or just the shards he got while the SE was on (he wrote this in the in-game chat this morning and then immediately logged out), but he got no kobans and no Sandalwood perfumes refunds, apparently (no surprise)

Most important thing when things like this happens is in my oppinion not to read into it to much from both parts Kinkoid/The Playerbase and not react/write anything overly Dramatic and I think they should stop Calling it a Exploit since using that word kinda implies people who got the broken mechanic/Bug forced upon them are Cheaters/Thiefs/Criminals just call it what it is a broken mechanic/bug Kinkoid doesnt want to be Called criminals same goes for most people Badly worded implifications are not Good for neither Parts mutual Respect is a two way street forced false bullied demanded respect Helps no one though😘

Yep , they removed to my harem Sifra and Ledena of the event that i got with the bug , for the mythic girl i spended 1k kobans for profumes , at least i hope for a refund(of course of the event season cards too).

even the combactivity and the kisses they basically backrolled the event and progress before the season bug
