  1. Honestly? Another Sensual? Two Mythics in a row + the CC girl + LC girl. KK please put some thought into the Dominances of the girls you are releasing. Saturating one in this manner really devalues them. I mean there are two Dominances with only 1 Mythic and now Sensual has 3! Tbh, I almost decided not to bother but this gives me 7 Mythics and I'll just have to farm Sensual gems for the rest of the month.
  2. I found it! But this is part of the reason for this thread. I think I've set it up correctly, but I'm no coder and getting this far was challening for me. And the truth is I don't know how to tell if I have set it up right as I'm not seeing any difference in the game (though I've very few opponents left as would be expected at this point of the week, so this could be totally normal). A step by step walk through would be very useful for the non-coders amongst us. I'm not suggesting Tom or Numbers take on this task - they're already doing so much for the community that it wouldn't be right to ask them to do more - but if someone who actually knows wtf they're doing created such a doc I'm 100% that a large number of players would find it very very useful BTW - @45026831, a booster detector would be insanely useful if I can get it working. I'm spending silly amounts of time with a spreadsheet comparing sim scores to tell when I should pick players off! Especially Thur-Sat before the full league is whittled down a bit.
  3. Yes I was experiencing this issue after the update yesterday, but it cleared up around 9-10 hours ago
  4. I'm posting this now as come the end of the league I'm likely to be busy with the new league and MD. So I wanted to loop back to this thread at the end of the league: Now only one of the 3 Mythic exclusive players is in the top 10 (#3), arragorn is at #23 (I may overtake them in the next few hours) and Heroyt is down at #49. To me, these actually don't seem to be significantly outside of where I'd expect them by player level. In fact the two that have dropped outside of the top 10 seem to be lower than where I'd expect them to be (given that they have ~100 player levels on me....)
  5. And that's exactly where I'm at. I'm 100% f2p, so no avoiding the 15min cooldown for me. Last month I still managed to get Stellaluna. It was tedious, but worth the effort. There will only be another 2-4 players in my club that managed to get her last month and they're working on passes (you can tell as the number of challenges jump rather than steadily increase). Where is the incentive for me to put that extra time in, checking every 15min to challenge again? It's not there. I'm all for socialism in so far as I think we can all pitch in for a better world. But this system totally ignores reality and basic human behaviour. With the current reward system there's simply nothing in it for me to invest all this additional time. As to Ymen as a potential reason to do this - log in once every couple of hours and claim your harem cash. Chances are it's going to be around the same amount of Ymen that the CC deliver and doesn't involve either spending tickets of checking every 15min.
  6. I really don't see the CC move as an improvement at all. My Club only has 33 members, of which only 19 are regularly active. Of those 19, about 6 do most of the heavy lifting, of which I am one. Tickets are a resource that I don't have a lot of excess of. I could really use the additional tickets on the regular Champions to bank Kisses for the KC. Up until now though, there were 5* girls that were an incentive for me to plow these resources into the CC. The more I put in, the more I got out. Under this new system what incentive is there for me to continue doing the heavy lifting? I don't get anything extra out of it. Other than spending that first ticket I have no control over what I get out of it. Yes, for the reward to ultimately be paid out the round has to be finished, but it makes no difference if you spend one ticket or one thousand to finish the round. In fact, it's not just that I don't have any control - the more I do, the more I'm paying for other players to get the reward I seriously doubt I'll be the only person to see the CC as a dead feature if this system is maintained in its current format. Far from encouraging everyone to participate, this system encourages everyone to put the absolute base minimum in and let other members of the club do the work to push everyone over the line.
  7. Part of that is due to Feb having 2-3 less days than any other month. But I do generally agree - managing this game is becoming more and more time intensive.
  8. I love the 3 day '2 Day Event' that starts on the 3rd!! Those sneaky rascals - they'll try anything to throw us off the scent!
  9. I feel your pain. I hit the wall last week at 1100 and won't be getting past it this week (0.0X% chance). And it's not like my team this week is bad - Royal Housemaid (600), Stacy (600), Keiko (550) + 4 unblessed Mythics (600) - but the Nutaku Blessings just aren't there this week. Next week is a bit of a mixed bag for me. I have Aiko and Madame Ivanka, but they're both 'post Awakening' girls and are entirely unstarted. I could not afford to upgrade either of them before the Blessing change. However I do have Angelic Lenaelle, Level-Up Red and Finalmecia all fully upgraded and Himari, Venus and Bianca that are only one Awakening away from fully upgraded and that I have have the resources to upgrade. So while it's frustrating to have but not be able to use the two best girls, hopefully next week will be better than this week.... Off topic - pre-Awakenings, I used to quite like seeing 3*s in the top 7. It made girls I would otherwise never have thought of useful. Now it's just frustrating as there's no way I'm ever going to spend resources upgrading a 3*. A wasted slot!
  10. What are your thoughts on the Royal Housemaid here? This is the only Mythic short of a Blessing (has 'Unknown' hair colour). I'd assume that this favours the all-round team. Where hair colour comes up the all-round team will always select the girl that is best, but the 7-Mythic will always have a lower chance of hitting the Blessing. Do you feel this is likely to skew the data to any meaningful manner?
  11. I'll leave it in your capable hands Totally agree. I realise that may not have come through in my previous post, but I really was just looking to start a conversation that I thought might be interesting. I'll be happy to post the end results to give an idea of how things actually play out. It'd be interesting if others looked as well! I agree and you're correct - you have provided more detail on your approach previously. My point wasn't really to suggest that some really competitive players were taking this path to the absolute extreme. What I was musing on was the fact that *this week* the Blessings are such that the players pursuing some version of this strategy stand out like a sore thumb (the optimum team is almost entirely Legendary, so the only reason to have 7 Mythics in is if you don't have the Legendaries upgraded to the point where they're better than your Mythics). That allowed me to quickly see who was going down this road and see roughly how they were doing at this point. In truth, while I think this strategy *can* be used well, though I'd agree with you that it would be very unusual for the most extreme version of it to be the best choice, I'm not actually convinced that the players in question here are getting the most out of it. The advantages to this strategy are that you get your Mythics far enough ahead quickly enough that they make the weekly Blessings somewhat redundant. These players have their Mythics at level 550/600. Today, I've upgraded all my Mythics to level 600. For focusing on Mythics, these players just aren't that far ahead of where I am (or at all really). Next week is a bad Blessing week for me, but I'll be able to field 1xBlessed 600 Mythic, 4x600 Mythics and 2xBlessed 600 Legendaries. That team will be stronger than the pure Mythic team that these player's are fielding after the Blessing. Of course, the assumption that they are pursuing this strategy intentionally could be erroneous. It may be the case that these players just don't pay any attention to the Blessings and field a team of pure Mythics just because they (mis)understand them to be the strongest girls..... And this. 👍 I could not agree more. The strategy discussion is a short term decision that fades away as people start hitting those level caps.
  12. I'm not 100% sure this is the right place to post this, so mods if you feel this would be better off elsewhere please feel free to move. There's no great insight to this post, I just noticed something and felt like sharing. Here's the current top 9 in my D3 bracket (Nutaku): What I noticed is that the players in positions 3, 5 and 7 all appear to be going for a Mythic exclusionary strategy. Each has a Mythic only team on a week where there is only a single Mythic in the top 7. All are clearly levelled to their Awakening max (550, 600 and 600). I know it's early in the week, but from the above I'd postulate that this strategy is working. There are 10 players at level 490+ and TheGlider would be the lowest level of them. So each of the players pursuing this strategy is - currently - outperforming the order that would naturally be expected (level decending). There's only one other player in this bracket that appears to be pursuing this strategy and they're only Awakened to level 500 are only at player level 424 and are correspondingly a lot lower positioned (actually 60 positions below me and I could score 20pt wins on them right now). My point in this is broadly that 3 of the 4 players using a Mythic exclusionary strategy in my D3 bracket are currently placed in the top 10. A fairly strong endorsement of that approach imo. What I also find interesting from a personal perspective is that I have NOT pursued this strategy, but will be able to field a team of 6 Mythics at level 600 before the next Blessing change and 7 when a new Mythic is available in the next weekish. I'm hoping top 15 results may not be too far away.....
  13. Pachinko competition on Nutaku and I needed a boost in Gems and GXP to make the next Awakening upgrade, so I spent a whack load of EP - 180 total. 83 GXP (46.11%) 93 Aff (51.67%) 3 Girls (1.67%) - 19th, 29th and 131st pulls This gives me a total of: 113 GXP (49.13%) 113 Aff (49.13%) 3 Girls (1.30%) I'm assuming that I've missed something and Items and Boosters are no longer available on EP at this point. I hit my targets for Gems and GXP, which is great, but I've got to say the drop rate for girls is painfully low (1 in ~77 orbs). If it wasn't for all the posts above I'd be wondering whether this was just bad luck at this stage.
  14. I think this all really comes down the strategy approach the person is taking. The strategy you are taking (focusing on maxing 7 Mythics + lots of fodder) is going to make having non-Mythic dominances desirable. I suspect that across the entire player base your strategy is likely to be an outlier, or at least further from the average, than building up lots of 5/6* girls. Though I could be wrong and both could be outliers at opposite ends. BTW - I'm not critiquing your strategy choices here - I think I probably would have gone down the same road as you had I been in a similar position when Awakenings hit. As I was a fair bit behind you, the strategy you are taking really wasn't an option that was open to me for a number of reasons.
  15. Very interesting! I didn't remember that. I'd still lean towards it being more expensive to pick-up Nike than usual for a MR. The higher demand for shards first time round could go either way - it could mean that an average number of people wanted Nike but more ensured they got her first time round. In which case demand would be lower during the MR. Or it could mean that a higher than average number of people really wanted this girl. If the latter then unless that additional need was sated by the depletion of the shards first time round, it means that there will still be extra people who want her. And I know I said this in other words in the previous post, but the Dominance system wasn't in place when Nike was released. In my opinion the implementation of this system is likely to have significant impact. 5/6* Voyeur girls are (I think) the hardest to come by. And Voyeur gems correspondinly appear to be most plentiful for most players. For me effectively any other class and I'm going to be stretching my gem resources to add another Mythic. I could take two Voyeur Mythics tomorrow and still have more Voyeur gems left than I have a use for. The introduction of the Dominance system has made Nike attractive for reasons that didn't exist first time round. So my money's on Nike being tougher to get. But I'll be ensuring she drops into my Harem
  16. That's a fair point actually. I have the resources to Awaken to 600 right now, but I need to farm some gems and bank some extra GXP (thanks DG!!) to allow me to at least upgrade my Mythics to 600. Oh, and wait for a corresponding DC. That should allow me to break 1100 in the next week or two.
  17. This I really agree with. As generous as I think DG are, this game is getting more and more time intensive. Realistically, there is only so much time that any average person can dedicate to this game and each of these new features stacks up those minutes.
  18. On this one you're wrong. Using @Liliat's example: 10 Season wins = 15 potions (1.5/win) 15 Season wins = 35 potions (2.33/win) 20 Season wins = 60 potions (3/win) As the wins count against all 3 objectives the return actually improves by doing the 'harder' task. Putting in more 'effort' on the above has a greater return per win. The objectives are very easy to complete and by the looks of things most days you're going to complete at least 2/3s of the total requirements doing things you would have already been doing anyway. This feature is a total gift, requiring minimum additional effort for a lot of extra goodies, and I would caution against the community complaining about its structure based on semantic points that don't have a great deal of real world relevance. It validates the developers viewing negative community feedback is 'haters' (as has happened in the past) and ignoring it.
  19. Actually, it also makes getting through Seasons a lot easier. An extra 36 Combativity over the event, reduces the wait time by up to 0.75 days. Given the tight timings that's very significant.
  20. Completed the DGs for today. That was very nice I hadn't really looked at this in detail, but I'm surprised no-one has really mentioned the Combativity. An extra 6/day. If done smartly that's 24 extra over an normal MD. That's a saving of around 42/252 Koban for the event. More over OD and other events. It's not earth shattering, but it's a decent extra. EDIT - In fact it's more. If you're banking your Seasons/PoA Combativity for MD, you've got a full bank from the 30th of the previous month. So there are an additional 3-4 days worth of Combativity you can add to your bank before the MD even starts.
  21. Hit the wall at 1100 - don't see me getting past it any time soon.
  22. Add to the popularity that Nike is currently the only Voyeur Mythic, and that lots and lots of people have a huge glut of Voyeur gems because there are so few girls to spend them on and Nike is likely to be even more popular.
  23. Congrats! You've beaten me to 7!! We're seeing the same on Nutaku. 40min since the last refill and we have: I've just been arguing with myself about whether I should go for her (there's a complimentary DC on as well which was nudging me), but I've decided not to. I have 6 Mythics. I'm missing Eccentric, Playful and Voyeur (I have 2 Physical). The next two months are almost certain to kick out a Playful and a Voyeur and they're expected to be cheaper than chasing Alexa today. Tough choice, but I think I have to hold on to my resources.....
  24. I would actually agree with @Liliat. If they continue the current pattern this is the last chance saloon for Alexa. But, in all honesty, I would lean towards believing that they will change the format sooner or later and there will be other chances in future. If I was to take a guess, I think that MD will ultimately become like LD, where you'll have a new Mythic and an older Mythic that you can try to pick-up. That said, I would also suspect that it'll be a decent length of time before we see Alexa again. I'll miss this one for reasons I explained in another thread, but I'm not happy about having to do so. It'd be great if some of those who are going for Alexa could post up info on the drop rate!! I'm playing the free regens on her anyway (future proofing to reduce the costs at a later date - Slivanus also aligns with gems I need) and got a significant outlier of a result. 6 drops in 20 Combativity. I've seen a single instance of 5 on MD before, but never 6. As unlikely as it is, if the drop rate looked as if it had been increased that may impact my decision as I could sure use an Eccentric Mythic and have the Affection, Ymen and gems to manage another......
