Every league reset at 5 a.m. is poor?

mmmm other way is calculate traffic per second of every conection, verify the number of logins for now if the problem is for the incoming/outcoming of the internet line, or if the problem was in the cluster side.

Wen know if are or not can see the trafic in the cluster node for balancing charge for see the bach pile of process in every computering node and with that you can see if the multithread is working in every node, if need more amount of ram or is a processor use problem for search the best solution (because I imagine that they will be using a cluster of linux and a data base of truth as the Oracle that allows multi-tasking and can host in ram as a cache several tables)

Yeah, it really was. Personally, I need to set aside about 25 - 30 minutes every Thursday just to get through all the League stuff (which includes Battles, Forum Posts, Arena etc.) but 15 - 20 minutes of it is just the League Battles... a fix would be nice. 🤔

the server performance won't be substantially raised for about 0.3% of the time per week where it would be needed. that's not profitable from a financial point of view. it can however be fixed via changes of the game mechanics - by eliminating the free refill the need to do the fights right at reset and fast would also be eliminated.

Bad idea. Ill wait 15 minutes instead of giving up a refill.

You guys probably all know this already but as @Moe Overload  pointed out to me there is no reason to hammer the server in the 1st few minutes after league reset to get a battle in so the timer can start re-filling.

Since a week is evenly divisible into exactly 288 35 min parts:

  • 1st battle at 1 sec after reset: you accumulate at most 287 tokens with 34 min and 59 secs wasted
  • 1st battle at 30 min after reset: you accumulate at most 287 tokens with 5 min wasted

I call the 1st 35 min after league reset the MoeZone. Get 1 in the MoeZone and chill.

All true but doesn't apply if there are more than 100 players in the league, then there won't be enough free tokens to get all the fights in even if you can start immediately.

You are correct. If league size is > 100 and you end up in a tight race for 1st/4th then you may end up having to spend a small extra number of kobans for an extra fraction of a single token. Otherwise you can just relax.

If you want to do really well you will always have to spend a few kobans. Thats a given. 

 

One time we didnt get the free refill. People went mad. I dont think that should become a feature. Besides, you punish people who had to fight for their previous league over people who bought it early or just had an easier time.

The players that abused the tower of fame bug that had their points reset were inactive in the leagues for not playing for a week this put them in wanker 1 so they had to put those players back into the higher league round that they would have stayed in if they had not abused the tower of fame bug.
 

The leagues being more laggy than normal was based on them doing this.

This is false information. They were returned to their previous league. As we've already told you on discord.

That way the online players got two advanteges over the offline players, which get punished twice: because most of offline players are offline due to sleeping.

Why?

Because nonsleepers can use all free tokens until the end - they can react live to climb top spots.

And a few minutes later, they are in advance to the "idiots" being offline during league reset.

 

Why it bothers me? - it doesn't fit into all other timers that were and are existing in this game.

Because all other things just accumulate over time. The only gift you get is leveling up - and that happens at a moment of each players decision.

If there would be no refill, RNG would come to a strategic side:

- strategic: more important to perform in current league or hoping to have an easier to win league in 30 minutes?

- RNG: you never know your opponents next round.

 

That is the same advantage all reset online players have with any boss fight related events: the can collect 19 combativity points and use them from the spot.

Offliners can empty as much as time is left until they come back online.
