For you (and others), sure. Noted. But for me it matters a lot. And I'd just like to clarify that it's not just about style, but about genre. Bella is a fine piece, but it belongs entirely to the manga genre. The vast majority of this game's art, even if it varies in style (and quality) from artist to artist, era to era, and so on, is firmly rooted in a more European genre, with a fair bit of 80s US comics influence, and some manga influence. I don't want my Astérix to be drawn by Jim Lee. I don't want my X-men to be drawn by Akira Toriyama. And I don't want my DBZ to be drawn by Goscinny. They're all great artists, and they each have their own style compared to their peers within their respective genres, that's not the issue. To me, hiring artists like the Holiday guy or the Bella dude to work on this particular game is as out of place as the examples above, whether they're good at what they do (like the Bella dude is) or not (like the Holiday guy). Hopefully this should drive my point home. Cheers.

I hear you, and taken out of context of this game, just the inspiration and the rework, I can see why you'd give the artist points just for managing that. Now please try and see it from my point of view as a noob. I am led through the introduction by Bunny in all her ... bunnyness. I meet the likes of bashfull Kimie and mysterious Arcana. I see Agate and Rumiko in pretty lingerie. I meet an army of funny, cheeky housemaids. And then I see Ornella, who has the relative subtlety of a sledgehammer. And reach for the brain bleach. What the beep is *that* doing here, I wonder, and hit the forum looking for a way to remove it from my harem... In stead I find there's a whole bunch more just like that. Context, and a consistency in artwork is everything, and KK doesn't seem to care about that anymore. The artists don't choose which girls to parody, or what to put in the scenes. That's done mostly by FAB and his team, every now and then other Kinkoids give him briefs that he'll use or modify. They've all been in keeping with their source material for the ones I'm familiar with, so it's probably just someone on the writing team filling out a niche.

But no official announcement on the forum, neither on the game itself. They do not advertise their events properly. If players do not play on Nutaku, they have no reasons to go to the Nutaku events page. And why should we have to follow social media pages to be informed of future events ? I do not want to use Twitter, and I do not want to use my real FB account (that I use very rarely) to follow this kind of pages.

As a NA player I would just like to say to all the EU players: Have fun, if you stuck it out for years in the EU deathzones you have earned a bit of an advantage. To the NA west coast players: Ouch. I am on record as thinking the fairest thing to do would be to have 25 hour long contests and leagues that run 7 * 24 + 1 = 169 hours. That way everybody gets a shot at being in the sweet spot.

Yes, I agree. I was intending to respond with one of my 'extended' post,s but my computer crashed and I lost what I was typing. I think my computer was trying to tell me something and was saving me from myself! These sorts of comments came about, I noticed, when a new team of artists came 'on-stream' and the style of art that was created gave us girls who bore little resemblance to their original characters. People didn't like it and felt betrayed. They probably felt that Hentai Heroes had become part of their family over all these years they'd been playing it, and they felt they'd come to know these girls personally. As with all the amateur epidemiologists who had sprung up with the Covid-19 crisis (including the presidents of the United States and Brazil), a number of armchair art critics appeared in this forum in the wake of the first creations by the new artists. Some works of art have been absolute fails (like Xia for instance) and they deserved our contempt, but then some of the girls created long ago by the original art team have been pretty awful too, including the original version of Ishtar - the latest version of her created by the new art team was a quantum improvement. I feel we just have to accept that there have been some disasters as the art team experiment, but, yes, we're still here years later playing the game and looking forward to adding girls to our harems. One of these experiments that hadn't worked (in my opinion) has been the creation of enhanced perspective in some girls whose extremities have been close to the 'lens' while the rest of their bodies have been set back creating some body parts that are grossly out of proportion. One of these is Festival Bonny in her last two poses. This idea just didn't work and needs to be dropped as a technique (except maybe when drawing their bums). Yet, to blow my argument into the weeds, Festival Bonny is a popular choice among voters. Because there have been some really outstanding artistic efforts (the original Toshiko's affection scenes come to mind, as well as Fierce Ishtar's) this has created real support among players that is akin to a cult following. Some of the artwork that has, on the face of it, been derived from other games, is so divergent from these that they stand alone as originals. Take Ballasuck for example. She is based on a Pokomon turtle, but HH have created an inspiring and absolutely lovely flower of a girl. It's the same with Ornella. She's not my cup of tea by any means, but she is so divergent from her ugly original that she can't be seen to be derived from her. So, there's work to be done still (girls' feet and mouths as two examples), but these will improve over time. In this regard, along with some peculiar muck-ups due primarily to careless uses of the pen, the art team that supposedly exists should make use of the opportunity to critique the work to iron out problems before they're released. Overall, hats off to what the artists (and script writers for that matter, now some of the jarring grammatical and spelling mistakes are mostly a thing of the past). I've been a critic in the past, but I've changed my tune somewhat of late.

I rarely get involved in the art discussions, but I found this exchange to be one of the most important parts of any of these threads: The only thing I'd add to this is that it's beauty that is subjective. For those of us who don't have a specific type, that's great. For those of us who hate (insert girl-type here) and that there are too many of them, and not enough of what you prefer, that's so the game can be appealing to many. I had a girlfriend who thought I was good looking, which I am objectively not. But I was pretty much exactly her preferred type, with the features she is drawn to being a couple of my best features. So real-world average became her world good-looking. There are some I don't like, that I know are very much on point with Hentai, notably Octavia. But I tend to vote for lots of girls, because I understand for me that this question is more "Who do I want?" over "How well drawn is this?", and that's why I answer as I do. Back to my normal sort of post now. The event is basically done for me, as I got Bella, plus some free items for going over 100 shards. Both were the same slot, but that's still not a bad consolation prize with some legendary XP & Affection stuff. I do need to finish the event missions. Ironically, you answered me with something closer to a wall of text than the couple of paragraphs I was directly addressing at you in my previous post. ^^ I definitely appreciate the detailed explanation of your own perspective, though, and yeah, we're not talking about the same things (although there's some overlap) and we also have different tastes and interests, which is perfectly fine, but also means we can't really debate on this subject. I don't really agree with a number of your points about things you care about when evaluating the art in this game, but there wouldn't be much point in elaborating too much on that. Let's just say that I think some of your criteria are definitely more subjective than the ones I use, and that you also seem to dismiss a major criterion for me, which is consistency with the game's visual identity (you have no problem with Bella looking like she came right off of an actual Japanese game for instance, whereas the core visual style of this game is unarguably much closer to a mixture of classic US and European comics with some manga influence; and it's been like that from Day One). It's a bit similar about the themes, what you described doesn't quite match what the game is or has ever been going for in my opinion. We've had excessive dildo usage and bukkake shots from the very beginning, alongside more sensual, erotic pieces as well. If anything, as Zorba mentioned many times recently, bukkake shots at the very least have been less frequent over the past few months, so the trend you see must be a result of you not being familiar enough with a lot of girls from previous years rather than actually showing an evolution in the game itself. And, very simply put, it's not that this game is, as you put it "no longer" a hentai game; it's never been a mere hentai game in the usual sense. If it were, I would 100% not be here, because those themes, aesthetics and visual styles are just not my cup of tea, at all. I've been drawn to this game (hehe) first and foremost because I loved the art style and how much it stood out from its typical competitors (aka typical hentai games, with a drawing style directly in line with stereotypical Japanese manga and anime, and with all the typically Japanese themes like pants-u and tentacles-u and whathaveyou-u). To each their own, but I'm honestly just as concerned with the game turning into a generic dime-a-dozen hentai game visually than I am about the current art team's actual drawing skills. It's the selection of what you're analyzing, criterion by which you're analyzing and purpose of the analysis is what I disagree with. For me, purpose of the art discussion was to bring attention to the significant drop in art quality, so that developers would stop that and bring good quality back. So the selection should include all the poses of new girls. And the criterion should be not just overall quality of art, but the appeal and theme. The moment I realized that we have different ideas on that was the moment when I stopped participating in those discussions. Because what's the point if we talking about completely different things. So there's no need to address me with this walls of text. Maybe I chosen not the best words, but my message was very simple. First, I disagree with your selection. I think it is not productive to do analysis while looking only at first poses. So, what would be the tropes to showcase the girl's attractiveness, which would fit in the standard 4 poses of this game? Let's start with hentai. Or if we try to include sex scenes - still blushing, glistering and sweating would be the main theme. That's the focus. Now think about what we see in the game right now and what is quite unique to the western sex culture. Instead of focusing on the girl and how beautiful she is, the focus shifts to different things. It shifts to how good she's at sucking, how good she is at shoving up dildos in all places, etc. Basically, to showcase the girl's attractiveness it shows how good the girl is at servicing men. And few examples from the game. Let's take as an example Kimie. She's one of the old girls. She's carefully undressing and then bashfully stands there naked. Quite cute I think.(Maybe the art itself is of low drawing quality, but not low on "theme" quality). A good example of what hentai should be about. Now let's look at recent Jing Wei. You know, I wanted to say that she has a decent first pose and all other poses have a good idea "thematically", but execution in my opinion was off point, so it's bad overall, but a good attempt. But most importantly "theme" is very enticing and well thought out. The progression is teasing and playful, so it captures her charm very well and the final pose is a simple trope, yet perfectly executed and very unique and charming in its own way.

Money. I get 48*13.5 from battles, almost 60K from girls and I play often so say about 300 to 360K a day, plus daily missions and about 25 or 30 wins in battle. I am now level 114. I max out my bought stats in the market. I used to just max out Hard Core but it seems recent PvP will give more important so I slogged through and now all three or maxed. So every level I click 19 or 20 times and reach the new max. About 400k per level, I level up about once a day, I kinda hope leveling slows down. I then buy all the common books to I don't waste too much going beyond xp levels, it's cheap. I might buy some better ones so I can level someone asap if there is a contest. After that, if I see a legendary item or a better epic item that is HC I jump on it. I am tempted to go for rainbow items to prepared for changes in PvP but who knows how long it will take for those changes to come and and they are expensive. Legend items are about 250K, epics 60K from memory. Then I bank everything. I try to get enough savings to buy up my stats when I level and be able to go through my current and the next "scroll" in the adventures as being unable to spend energy because you don't have the cash would suck. Forest will seem to take about 150K a day, the further ones take longer to run through so say 100K a day. Anything beyond that. I'll spend a bit to score second to forth place on missions that require spending and Pachinko. Not too much though. I level up new girls to level three as it isn't too costly. Everything else to leveling the legend girl and fairy and any 3 stars who are on my fight team who have the needed affection to level up from fights. Teams I used to keep my best three HC in my team but now I use my new legend girl who is my best as Alpha and I use my two cheapest girls [3 and 4, Red Battler and the Ankyo] to level up. I find the decline in combat ability is almost none so meh why not. I will probably sub in Fairy especially if those rewards from leaderboarding come in. Omega slot will probably stay for leveling up 3 star to 5 star girls starting with the cheapest. I battle a lot, Can probably get a good 100 points of affection a day so RB and Ank should take about 70 days to level up without affection items. Kobans I'll use them to get the next legend girl who is HC. Otherwise I will save them until I can collect all the droppable girls and then use them on epics to get the rest. No point using 900/5400 coin to get a girl I could get from a boss. I might change my mind later on, on this. I avoid event girls because I don't really care and most of them are just variants of other girls and that sort of bugs me. In the past I did go for them if one was really good [cupid-chan] but my team is such that I don't need to anymore. I'd rather pound on the boss de jour for more cash and to finish off as many of his girls as possible. So far I am doing alright. In PvP on the battle section I almost never lose and even less am I outclassed. I've seen only one who was straight up superior to me in stats, even with my beta and omega slots suboptimal.
