forgot to take a screenshot. Sovereign was first and mot_131 third last time i checked. Gratulations to Sovereign for his win. I had to fight a lot of players boosted, because i did not have as much time as usual to check for unboosted players.  

I used the green white black hair team most of the time, i switched once to a purple/brown virgo team to fight a player with a black/red team. With Sorceress Filya the virgo team is nearly as strong as the black hair team.

I'd be curious to see a last-minute screenshot, but unless my calculations were wildly off (the script estimation missed 25 points I've lost at some point so I stopped relying on it, but I still monitored both our scores and I'm pretty sure I got it right), I've lost by either 1 or 2 points.

The perfect score in our group (303 fights) was 7,575. I was 68 points short of that, and ThunderWolf had already lost 66 points at the time I took my latest screenshot (and many hours before that) and he had 3 fights left. All I needed him to do was lose 2 points (or more) on that final opponent. I knew he would wait until like 12:58 to play those fights in case the opponent suddenly showed a weaker team or lost their booster or something, and I was otherwise busy so instead of biting my nails pointlessly for over an hour and a half I decided I'd find out later which of us got lucky. Turned out it was him.

He must have either scored a perfect 75 or at least 74 points on that last opponent. 73 would have exactly matched my score (giving me the win because I reached it first), and anything lower than that would have been a clear win for me... OH WELL. V_v

Damn Rabbits and their last minute shenanigans. ^^ I mean, congrats for the win, ThunderWolf! This was pretty close, even though with the abundance of strong Reflect defense teams, we both lost quite a few points to RNG.

I also had to fight many perma-boosted opponents, and my usual trick of equipping 4 chlores for a whole day to mitigate my losses to Reflect didn't go so well this time. That "25-25... 20!" against TW himself was quite crushing, I must say. Honestly, 23-23-24 would have felt better (same amount of points in total, but no false hope of scoring a perfect as RNGeez gave me in this case ^^).

Anyways. In case that wasn't enough, for this new league that just started I'm with the King of Rabbits himself (@Ol Sheriff Joe), in what appears to be an otherwise relatively weak group, so I'll go for as chill of a top 4 as I can. Unless the Old Boy is feeling generous and willing to cut a bit of slack to a lone ranger who had a long and tiring journey to visit his town?

In all seriousness, it's still competition, but knowing if you lose your friend wins is a heartwarming and relaxed situation to compete in, certainly more feel-good than just fighting for your own hide. It must be nice. EDIT: To be fair I have respect and sympathy for most of my regular competitors, even though we're not in a tribe together.

PS: This doesn't tell us if I'm in the right ballpark for your GG set... So, level 10 mythic pieces I presume? ^^ Or is that still out or reach even for you?

I have exactly 43 level 10 mythical equipment, 25 levels 1 to 9 and 23 level 1. Indeed, I have never increased those of other rarities (waste of time and money). Now I have invested 200,000 kobans in it.

As for the rabbits, the emptiness of the other teams also caused some to regroup. Where are the porns, tsubasas, etc.? So many great teams gone or dying. There are a few players who still persist alone but no more competing teams.

This will almost always be true for most players when there's a big blessing for a specific pose. I also have only 3 Nosedive pieces, coincidentally. The most I have for any given pose is 4. I have at least 1 piece for all 12 poses now, although Congress and Column took ages to show up and I only have one of each.

I have a fairly even distribution between the 3 Classes for HP bonuses and the 8 colors for Def bonuses, which is generally good, but this also gets much worse when the whole team needs to have the same pose (so only bonuses for one of the three classes), and of course a team built around a specific pose naturally leans towards the two colors with pose as their GS5, Yellow and Blue (so bonuses for three of the eight colors at best).

Basically a pose is the worse attribute a big blessing can roll in terms of getting the most out of your GG set. Maybe if someone happens to have 20 items matching the same pose, they can get obscene buffs once in a blue moon when this pose gets a big blessing... But they would get a lot less power from their set than your average random distribution on most weeks.

The other attributes that can be picked for blessings can't mess up with GG bonuses quite as much. It's almost never optimal either, but it's much easier to include girls with a few different poses in my team when blessings ask for any other attribute. If it's a hair color and a zodiac sign or whatever, more often than not I can activate the attack bonuses of a lot more of my GG pieces.

TL;DR: My additional strength is almost at its lowest right now (see above ^^). I have only 3 attack matches, 9 HP matches, and 12 Def matches, out of my 30 mythic pieces.

Most weeks (with weaker and/or less restrictive blessings) I can build my team to get 12 or more attack matches, and close to 30 HP matches (Def matches vary a lot more, can't really rely on them anyway).

I mean, is that too strong?  (Screenshot from the Villain screen so no counter bonus and my AM doesn't show either).

PS: If that's the case, then I'm looking forward to sharing a league with you... ^^

For real?  I thought you'd be much higher than that by now. I'm sure some of the others like Govs, Limule, Sovereign or ofc Gogeta must have full level 10 sets at this point.

I really don't think my 42 level 10 commons were a short-sighted strategy at all. It was short term, but well worth it in my situation. Sure, I eventually recycled 30 of them to upgrade their mythic replacements, but in the meantime I had a lot more power a lot earlier than I would have if I had skipped that step, and it definitely helped my overall progress including my league results.

Plus, there's always the randomness of what slot I get mythics for. Even now, I only have 3 mythic pieces for slot 6 (including one I acquired a few days ago and haven't upgraded yet). The majority of the level 10 commons I'm still using are for slot 6, making up for that. Conversely, I have more mythic pieces for slot 3 than I can use at once, and I already had 7 of them early enough that I didn't have to max out my commons for that slot. It's nice to have a decent fallback option to fill in the blanks left by RNG.

TL;DR: The "secret technique" of the rabbits is that there are so many of them, and they're collectively in touch with so many other D3 competitors that they regularly have the majority in their league groups, so they can determine who gets which rank through a vote, a bunch of bargains, or even Rock-Paper-Scissors (basically ^^). Which isn't really a secret, or a problem, to be clear. It's just that it's a group effort and it requires different skills than just winning by yourself in a true free-for-all competition.

I'll admit betting on stuff like how many letters an upcoming girl will have in her name sounds a lot more fun and in tune with the game's lore and meta. And a lot riskier than flipping a coin, too! Imagine an edit war takes place at KK's HQ as we saw multiple times before, but for the name of the particular girl whose name you bet on?! ^^

You'd have to agree beforehand if you'll stick to her name upon release, or whatever her name happens to be by the end of the league. Now that's its own kind of suspense and excitement in and of itself, for sure. ^^ (I mean I didn't have any stake in it besides just preferring Delphine to the stripper name they eventually went with, but just thinking back to the whole clown fiesta around Delphine aka Cheryl aka Candy Cocteau slash whatever, I'm still smiling. ^^ It was a real treat to follow on Yami's thread.

Joe a mieux négocier un gros adversaire que moi. Je n'ai jamais trouvé le moyen de rattraper. Mathématiquement, je ne pouvais que égaliser et donc finir 2ieme. J'ai lâché l'affaire le dernier jour. Il est le meilleur, rien a redire.

Joe was better at negotiating a big opponent than me. I never found a way to catch up. Mathematically, I could only equalize and therefore finish 2nd. I gave up on the last day. He's the best, nothing to complain about.

Dear fellow players

I reached my personal end of the game on 5 April 2023, when I achieved all the game goals I set for myself 🥳

At the end of last month I decided to stop playing actively. Last Tuesday I put this into practice with the last league fights. @holymolly has known for a while, but also my club has suspected for a while that I would do this. My list of reasons has become very long in recent months and I want to spend more time with my family again (I was online almost 24/7 in this game). The most serious game-related reason is Girl Equipment, which is not compatible with my play style 😑

Since the club and my account are important to me, I will not leave the game/community, but will severely limit my playing time. I will therefore limit myself to the club/club chat/forum and a few non-time-intensive contests/events that I like - as long as my remaining Kobans on the account are sufficient for that 😊 I don't rule out playing actively again, but I don't plan to.

Wow. Well, my advice in my previous post was mainly addressed at Liliat, but clearly I'll extend it to the two of you and any other mid-game player currently fighting for top 15 or less in D3. Stop the madness, folks! Stash those cordys, AMs and, to an extent, more kobans than you currently do. Use 2-3 gins at all times, switching in 1 cordy or maybe 2 only on specific days with specific opportunities (combined with strategic refills, for which you should easily be able to repurpose some of the kobans you're currently burning on boosters that are simply not worth their cost for your current power level, goals, and pocket meta-game). You'll thank me later. ❤️
